“I love the overall look of the cup and how light weight it is. My only issue is whatever plastic the straw is made from smells terrible. I have washed and washed it and it will not go away. Its so bad you can taste it when drinking. In order to use this cup I feel like I will need to replace the straw. I highly recommend changing how your straws are made. I have never had this issue with another brand.”
“I need a replacement lid like the one that originally came on my big buddy. The lid I ordered isn’t the same . I sent a message but customer service just recommended the one they sent. Are there any of the original big buddy lids available ? I sent a picture of my original lid on my big buddy.”
“Well...it's pretty. But it's REALLY heavy and huge...VERY top heavy as well, so tips over easily. Not that impressed considering how expensive this was.”

What I can say based on the 40oz and 50oz having the same features: the texture is top notch, the lid is multifunctional and comes with a straw, the silicone rim (?) Seems more sturdy than the to-go buddy but since I can't use it quite yet, I don't know if it is leakproof. Great solid product but customer service is lacking.”

“I mean it is what it claims to be...a lid. The metal straw takes a bit of getting use to. With the straw in it will leak. The price is absolutely ridiculously expensive. I would never pay the price for one of these cups. I only justified the lid because I received the cup.for free.”
“I thought after reading reviews, it would keep my drink a lot colder for a longer period. It is better than using a cloth koozie, but I prefer the old freezer koozies....they actually were the best! Unfortunately, after 20 years they are not as efficient.”
“Love it. The cup itself works exactly the way I wanted it to. Holds my iced drinks from Starbucks, keeps them cold an I don't have to touch the wet, cold plastic fast food container. Gave it a 3 star because it did not come with the straw it said was included. I also couldn't figure out how to engrave on the one I purchased. I could only choose a 2nd cup with only color choice of black or white. =(”
“I purchased the universal buddy since I drink Sprite Zero in the bottle (16.9) ounces. The diagram (on the frost buddy bottom) and website indicates it fits 16 ounce bottles. Well it doesn’t fit. It was suggested by Frost Buddy Customer Service to pour out the bottle into the frost buddy which defeats the entire reason for the purchase. To speak nothing of the fact that it was designed for this sole purpose. So now I purchased the XL and I’m guessing it won’t fit in the cup holder of my truck, as indicated on the website. I’m hoping Frost Buddy is wrong again.”
