Why did your branch manager tell me our sofa was made in chine and not in Italy like you said? Also why have the arms collapsed being told this is an a customer problem and that I should contact a furniture inspector if we were not satisfied. We brought out £2300 sofa from the wednesbury branch 6 months ago.

Bought dining table onyx top took delivery in December, few months down the line the glas has bowed and cracked. FV have told us we need to pay 700 for new glass, we only paid 800 for the table. Anyone had any success fighting claims with these people on grounds of not fit for purpose.

Why does it take so long for delivery- my item (a sideboard) has been sitting in Doncaster for a week, no-one has bothered to contact me to let me know when I am going to get it even though I was told someone would. Reading the reviews and they are horrific.

Having purchased what we thought was a fully leather sofa, that was until it started to split on the underside of the back of cushion, we find that it's either leatherette, vinyl or just simply plastic. Having contacted customer services at Furniture Village & been told it's not repairable, they have offered us £130:11p as compensation, we feel this is an insult. What are our rights & where do we stand in getting fair compensation ?

Just to say that was anybody told by the sales rep that a leather sofa of more than two parts does not have to the same height width or depth ? They can all be different within the same sofa

Will never purchase anything from FV ever again, once they have taken your money they are not interested. Thought that when you bought from what is supposed to be a reputable company they would be more than willing to help. Forget it.

Can anyone help, where do I go from here, the customer care team refuse to put me through to a team leader or manager, the store manager is useless.
Asked by Natalie (5 years ago)
If you have a complaint I’d contact their head office as the stores do nothing. To be honest neither does the call centre, but you have to give FV the chance to rectify your complaint. So far mines fell on deaf ears. I have contacted watchdog, but could do with more people to back up my claim.

Looking for other complainants to help in FV complaint

Why on earth is this company being allowed to treat consumers like this. Why hasn't trading Standards done something about it. Surely this is a form of stealing. I have had problems too.
