After waiting 8 weeks, the plants have arrived in an appauling condition .The company say their chat lines are not operational at this time and they do not answer e mails.Even raising a support ticket with them is a difficult process. They are not charging bargain basement prices and I only ordered online because garden centres were closed in the current crisis.I am really shocked at this level of operation.There are lovely colourful photos and some glowing reviews on their website but there appears to be many , many people having the same problems as myself.This needs to stop.

After several weeks( ordered 17th April, received June 7th), these plants arrived in a terrible state, cramped, well past their best , most of them broken and generally in a terrible state.Ive never received anything in this condition in my history of online ordering.I am very, very upset and have no idea what this company are thinking of ....completely immoral....

I paid almost £60 to Gardening Express on 24th April , it is now June 8th and I have not received any communication or my plants, it is a shocking way to conduct a business, never again will I purchase from them and if my plants have not arrived by 11/06/20 which will be 7 weeks wait, I am going to contact my bank for a chargeback, it is such a waste of time having to deal with a bad company who took my money promptly.

Just appalling. I ordered on 12th April and have spent the last six weeks trying to cancel and receiving no response. Plants arrived today (8th June) - 9 weeks after ordering. Will be reporting to Essex Trading Standards. DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!

absolutely shocking, completely disgraceful company. Money taken immediately on order, no products and no returned communications in 8 weeks. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

Disgusting customer services...in fact NO customer services. WHEN I EVENTUALLY received the plants one was dead. One was almost dead. Absolutely awful. And no matter how much you complain they never offer a replacement or refund. Yet hear them squirm when they see bad reviews.. Absolutely disgusting company

Eight weeks since our order on 14th April and still waiting. Money taken the day after. No way to contact them, they don't reply to their on-line tickets. No phone or e-mail. Appalling. Mr Chris Bonnett, MD, you should hang your head in shame.

I like many others have been shocked that a retailer can get away with this fraud, taking my money £251.00 on 23 April and still no plants, no contact information, only 2 emails stating they were beginning to work on the orders placed in April.... even though these plants will have finished flowering now. I have tried to ask for a refund but to no avail. Avoid buying from this company at all cost, they really don’t care.

Like all the other reviewers, I am adding my experience. Dreadful from start to finish. Three blueberry plants are not as described nor do they even look like each other. Six weeks later they are struggling to survive and have neither blossomed nor grown in size. Given the price and the special offer, these plants should be alot bigger than this and look nothing like the plant I purchased last year from a garden centre. Another plant was damaged before packaging as the flower head was partially snapped and growing in a strange direction. The packaging was dreadful, all pots squashed and wrapped in tape and the damage to the box was not caused by Hermes. We checked. No answer to two tickets opened. A reply to a third was meant for someone else called Hayley. We've had enough now and want a refund for these dreadful plants. Please see pics.

Like everyone else I placed an order on the 6thMay and yes guess what I’m still waiting?!! I have emailed and yes guess what no reply?!! I’m not even getting the usual weekly update with the drivel about delays blah blah blah. It’s a joke don’t know how this company is getting away with still taking orders. Everyone is experiencing difficulties at the moment but orders are being fulfilled so I cannot understand why this company is using the current situation as an excuse not to deliver. I only gave one star as it wasn’t possible to write a review with no stars.

Spent over £250 on plants during lockdown. Ok I expected a delay but my plants( well those I actually got) were stuffed into boxes, in bad condition and not worth the money. Numerous emails sent to them and so far no replies other than a ticket number. Save your money and support your local nursery. Facebook need to investigate and there are no negative reviews on their page I suspect these are being deleted so yes they are a scam

DO NOT ORDER Made one order back on 12 April had money taken out of bank straight away and prompt email to say order being processed I stupidly made another order for more plants as I was well impressed with being told 3/5 working days to deliver. Guess what NO plants..no response from ticket enquirers,no daily updates as promised.. Chris the owner blames virus and says be patient, So lovely to hear they are working day/night outside in the fresh air making LOADS of money at this difficult time.. They say it's not a scam REALLY!! My hard earned money as a 'key worker' gone!!

I also ordered plants on 20/4/20 and over 6 weeks later, no plants. Money taken from my account straight away. No response to my multiple queries. Terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered from this company on 28/04/20 and they took my money (£125) on the same day. To date (6 weeks later), I have only received half of my order. Cannot get hold of anybody to chase up the issue. Tickets just go unanswered. Avoid at all costs. Will have to try and get a refund through my card company.

I ordered and paid for my shrubs/plants on April 20th. My confirmed order stated delivery within 3 - 5 days. Followed by a statement saying in busy times this could be extended to 10 - 15 working days! Well, here we are on June 6th! Automated emails updating x 3 stating due to Covid there may be further delays. I last heard from them on May 18th saying they are improving their customer service! Nope, you are most certainly NOT I have raised 2 ticket enquiries and yes you've guessed right ...no response So, I've contacted my bank in an attempt to get my money back. All £129 which incidentally went out if my account very promptly! When I log in to their page it says since day 1 the order is being processed. So,according to their rules I am unable to claim a refund! So I have contacted my bank so they can deal with this dispute. Guys you only have 104 days = about 4 months to do this so get busy. Bank contacts the company for you but pays you straight away Fingers crossed that I will get my hard earned 129 quid very soon Good luck gardeners

Absolutely everything went wrong while dealing with this company. After 8 weeks awaiting period my order still has not been delivered.Two days ago I jave sent an email demandig full refund and the very next day I have received confirmation that my order has been shipped. Very unreliable company, poor communication, by reading other customers reviews I do expect poor quality of the plants.DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

We ordered some box plants costing us £140...on the 20th April we haven't received anything...no communication.. Cannot get in touch with them at all ..So disappointed a total rip off !! Obviously they still have our money ...no means of getting a refund from them ..nobody answers e.mails as they are automated.What a shambles of a company ! No way of getting our money back !!!!

Waited 8 weeks to date and my order is still being 'processed'. Tried emailing Garden Express but no response from them at all. It seems other small and large online garden suppliers can deliver plants in good time - why can't Garden Express? You can guarantee that I will never be tempted to buy plants from this company again. Looking at the other reviews this company is causing a lot of gardeners a lot of stress through not anticipating and managing the demand for their plants at all well. One way this company could have respected their customers is by communicating with them about their orders and not keep bleeting on about how hard they are working. Garden Express have our money in the bank making them interest while not delivering our purchases.
