Been battling to get any response to complaint for damaged, sub standard, dead and poorly packaged plants from March! Ticket system is a joke, you are lucky to get any response, then its a generic "holding" email, then the ticket is closed - I keep re opening and complaining but nothing happens. Wrote to the CEO Chris Bonnett - nothing The email quoted bounces back and there's no phone number. This company is a disgraceful example of exploiting customers, sending shoddy, dead or damaged plants in unsuitable packaging, then its impossible to get any resolution to complaints - they have your money so don't care. This company needs to be held to account. There should be an option for ZERO stars

AVOID...AVOID...AVOID. Sent me dead and dying plants, so as required by them, I raised a ticket of complaint & sent it with the required photo evidence. Ticket was acknowledged & said a team adviser was dealing with it. Ticket was never updated & NO contact or explanation was given before they just closed the ticket. I tried giving them the benefit of doubt in these covid times with 3 more tickets raised, but every one of them was treated in exactly the same way..... totally ignored and closed. Please avoid, search online and you will see so many same/similar experiences as my own....Wish I had :(

The took monies and delivery was over 12 weeks , when the plants arrived they where dead. The company never replied to calls or e mails to sort and of the issues .

I had cancelled the order within 2 days of purchase. 2 weeks later to my surprise I got sent an email sayI got that my cancelled order has been dispatched. When I raised a ticket again it said that I have to pay money to return. I had cancelled the order and should not have received the plants. I raised it with Gardening express and there is complete silence. The customer service is applauding and they don’t want to know once the order has been placed. I have also received plants with one leaf on them. I would never use them again.

I returned my plants 2 months ago (order no 600532657) very next day after receiving them so in 2 week slot provided by company and still waiting for my money. I wrote to them many times asking when I can expect refund but the only information I am getting is that they are passing my request to the right person... I feel that "the right person" does not exist in this company as I never herd back and every time my ticket has been closed without any outcome. It is very unfair practise but I feel my fight is lost as it is impossible to contact them.

It should be -1 not +1. They supplied a damaged banana plant, got me to send a photo and ignored everything there after. Do not waste your time and money on this company

Delivered half my order (4 plants missing). Had the nerve to suggest I hadn’t counted them properly! Further emails and photos from me... they said they would replace them. 6 weeks later, 4 further emails & I’ve heard nothing! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I dont know what to do. I've written and complained to them so many times and noone gets back to me. My plants arrived very late and dead. They won't get back to me...£75 stolen from me...no where to go

Terrible. Received dead plants and some missing. Emailed with no response expert for your email has been passed on to the right department. Months later did a charge back with the bank as I didn’t know what else to do but funny enough they could get back to the bank quickly. £122 down the drain I can ill afford. Never ever will use again

The plants I ordered came promptly and were exactly as per the advert,they are good quality and were well packaged,I have read the many adverse reviews ,but I am entirely satisfied ,with their service.

Received sambucus black beauty late summer,for the money paid to say it was such a disappointment is an under statement.Arrived bald and has gone down hill since.

After reading the many bad reviews of this company I was quite worried about the order I placed with them I am very happy to record that the plants were exactly as ordered in good condition ,and well packaged I can only say well done gardening express

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They close query tickets without explanation and then ignore any follow ups. I would not recommend using this company.

My experience is exactly the same as everyone who has written bad reviews. Inordinate delay, dead and damaged plants, no communication or means of contact. Don't touch with a barge pole

Stay well away from this company, only a few plants turned up, the expensive ones did not, i have raised multi tickets as you cannot contact via phone, all you get is i have passed onto the relevant person, asked for refund but get no answer, glad i dont run my business like this as i would be bankrupt or maybe not as they take your money and send no products - i must be doing something wrong. Absolute thieves do not use !!!

Chasing refund for dead plant since July. Dreadful customer service using Covid as ongoing excuse for poor service. I am not giving up and will continue to demand a refund.

I was really hoping to write a noce review, but unfortunately can't! Iv tried contacting them to fix the problem, but also can't. iv ordered two orders from them, and although I was happy with some things, im very disappointed with others. I ordered 2x palm trees twice, 2 of them arrived and were the size advertised (1- 1 1/2 metres) but the others came, and are only about 30cm maximum! I also ordered 2x banana plants, and they were meant to be in a 1litre pot, and they came in a much smaller pot, and they again are defetnly not the size advertised, they are meamt to be 30-60cm, but id be surprised if they were 10. and one doesnt look healthy at all. Then the other plant I ordered, again meant to be in a 2 litre pot, and id say it was in a 750ml pot, and is really not good condition, and very small, I actually brought 2 of the same plants from the range last week thats in a much smaller pot, and they are much better size and condition. Very big and full, and actually cheaper. I was hoping to make more orders with them, but id be concerned as to how they would come now, especially after ordering 4 palm trees and them being completely different sizes.

Dreadful company. Bad quality, no communication whatsoever, I asked 4 times for a refund as a plant arrived damaged. I sent them pictures twice and I am still waiting after 4 months. They closed my ticket without giving any reason. If I could give 0 star, I would. AVOID AT ALL COST!
