Disgrace of a company! Horrendous communication, lack of care and simply ignoring customer emails is not right!! Still waiting for a refund since May! Will never EVER use this company again! Take my advice and order from a reputable company such as gardening direct or Thompson and Morgan, who have satisfaction guarantee‘s DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH GARDENING EXPRESS

Do not order from this company!!!!!! Accepted my 3 & half week wait for my plant due to “Covid” but then received a plant that didn’t resemble to picture. The shots/leaves were meant to cover the hole stalk vertically but they were only at the top of the plant with no sign of shoots emerging below. The only way to contact this coming is by raising a ticket that seems to fall on deaf ears. No telephone number to speak to someone so now I am stuck waiting 10 days later with a plant & packaging with no sign of a resolve. Wish I had checked for reviews before I bought from this company. A total waste of my time & money!

I wish I’d read all the views before spending over £200 for plants from them. Waited weeks then they arrive today all very poor quality, some already dying, and they are perennials!! Heads snapped off plants, branches snapped of trees. The worst plants I’ve every seen. I’ve raised a service ticket and requested a refund but judging by all the reviews I don’t hold out much hope on getting my money back.

April dead plant arrived - numerous (over 100 emails later and nothing. Then 5 weeks ago out of the blue an email from Ashley saying how sorry they were and a replacement Acer will be dispatched 3 to 5 working days. 5 to 6 weeks later and NO plant and no response to my new cascade of emails. This company is beyond belief and needs and visit from all of the people that have been conned. They are only in Essex so achievable - then maybe we could help ourselves to the selection of dead plants await the next poor victim .... Outrageous

Dead plant and a pot of mud with a weed in .This was April. Automated e.mail as a response stating unable to address the situation at present. This is merely to inform people not to use them

This delivery was made in April. A very poor quality Rosemary plant and a pot of mud with a weed init .Discovered a root,which I presume was lemon balm .Nothing grew.An automated e.mail indicating they were unable to respond . Still waiting I have had rubbish quality previously but have not made a complaint . In short do not use these people

Plants took 12 weeks to arrive, half were dead, 12 weeks on no refund no apology and after many complaint tickets no resolution.

I ordered 2 plants in May 2020, they never arrive until now 18 August 2020. There is no any mean of communication or customer service.

I ordered 6 English yew topiary balls measuring 35-40cm in diameter. I finally received (v late) 5 scrawny yew plants. The after sales service is non-existent. I have just couriered the boxed plants back to Gardening Express. With proof of return I will now ask Visa to refund my money via the chargeback scheme. This business and its owner Chris Bonett should be shut down. If only I’d thought to read the reviews!

They delivered to me a plant just clinging to life they do not respond to e mails or any form of communication you are given a ticket system that goes nowhere they have in my opinion just taken my money for nothing and they appear not to care no customer srevice I will be going down the route of the small claims court I will never buy from them again The plant they sent me is now compost and no more

Deplorable non existent service. To say you’ve received bad service indicates a level of service. What I’ve received is none. I’ve had endless promises of my complaint being handled by a so called non existent manager. I ordered several succulents, climbing hydrangeas and two Salix trees. Half the succulents were dead, they arrived drowning in water. The hydrangeas arrived dry, parched and dying. I’ve never seen the Salix trees as they were returned back to the company by Hermes (another company whose customer service I find appalling). No explanation as to why was offered and no way of contacting them to find out why. Order made on the 24/04/2020 and so far not a sniff of a refund despite several attempts at communicating.

It is impossible to get any customer service. If you email to complain, you enter into some Faustian pact: you've sold your soul to this company and now you have to pay the price. The pictures I've uploaded show some of the deplorable specimens this company sent me. I am going to have to take them to the small Claims court to get compensation for the dead Daphne and the terminal Sambucus they sent me. Also received an amateurishly grafted buddleja and lilac. This company do not appear to care about quality or customer satisfaction. As they are taking no steps to solve the problems, I feel that I have been scammed. Please do not order from them if you want quality and decent service: I have no evidence that they can provide either. To date, I am £130 worse off... but very much the wiser.

Atrocious. I only received half of my order. Their delivery note stated that they would deliver the second half soon. Six months later I have not received my plants. I have sent numerous mails to their customer service department. Responses are late and vague, No solutions offered. Basically I have been tricked and robbed. AVOID!

Plants arrived after a long delay completely dead and shrivelled up. Despite several emails including photos of the dead plants, nit even had the courtesy of a reply. Appalled when I read reviews, really wish I had looked earlier, I would never have ordered from this rogue company. They should be investigated and struck off, they are fraudsters. Do NOT buy from them.

Following on from my first review, the poor Japanese ACER HAS NOT RECOVERED. I mean it didn't stand a chance. Bone dry soil when it arrived, and leaves brown. Probably hadn't been watered for weeks. Don't understand why people are still ordering from this company. Read the reviews, don't waste your money.

Con merchants. Received dead and dying plants . Raised a ticket 19 may. Ticket closed. Raised a new ticket ut still no reply. But I have been promoted to Tier 2. Anthony (deceased) is my agent looking and my complaint. Do not use . Yes as their face book site states they are packing furiously. From a skip. 0 stars is the best rating.
