Disgusting service!!! Its been 20 days nothing. Emailed twice..... totally ignored!!!! Vile company!!! Rip off merchants Quick to take monies off you but never deliver the goods..... cant even ask for a refund as no way to contact the pigs. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

AVOID. Agree with other reviews here. I placed an order April 6, and heard nothing. I sent an email to cancel, as they can't even indicate a proposed delivery date, but got the same cut and past stock response from Sam in their customer service team i.e. that I can't cancel the order but will have to wait for the delivery to arrive, then fill out a returns form. So, rather than cancel the order so that they do not incur any delivery costs, and risks to their driver, they want it to be delivered, and will then will incur the costs of coming back out to retrieve the goods. Bizarre business decision. I even emailed their founder having found his details on LinkedIn, but no response. Disgraceful customer service, and I'll be pursuing the same actions as others to get my money back.

I have had the same experience as all the other 1 star rating reviews. No communication other than please be patient. Nearly a month waiting and still no sign of delivery. No phone number to call. I will be going through a legal team to seek a refund. Not happy!

My mum order well over 15 days ago still no delivery and no reply back to the email that she sent them really not happy with this company won't be using again. Will not be recommending these to anyone.

I made a order on the 30/3/20 after waiting 15 days I raised a ticket about my order and was told it have been dispatched when my parcel arrived with Hermes what a surprise no plants and was given a different parcel which belonged to somebody else when I raised another ticket to explain what had happened no reply from gardening express at all so avoid this company they will just rip you off

DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. Ordered £600+ plants 4 weeks ago. When order was way overdue and I’d heard nothing, I smelt a rat and tried to contact/ cancel prior to dispatch (as per my consumer right) but there is absolutely no way to make contact- only a horrendous online “ticket” system which doesn’t work (They IGNORE complaints and continue to take orders when they clearly area coping with existing orders). I left a bad review on another site (which they responded to in an impersonal and ignorant manner) and - bingo - order swiftly arrived by courier who dumped pallet of damaged boxes in middle of drive so we couldn’t get in or out. MISSING ITEMS = 10 Digitalis plants, no explanation. DAMAGED ITEMS = 10 x Rosemary plants yellow and dried out; 12 hellebores in terrible condition, half dead. Have complained / requested refund & collection of damaged plants via “ticket” system and online “customer survey” (what a joke). Sent photos with “ticket” but again a DEAFENING SILENCE. This company owes me a lot of money but WILL NOT RESPOND. I NEED A REFUND. Don’t use them. Just AVOID

I ordered over a month ago £300. No response to two notes to them. I've asked for my money back but have heard nothing from them. Don't know what to do now.

Bought 28 days ago spent £140 as I couldn't purchase anywhere else ,looked like a good site but didn't check as I was so desperate to fill my garden . Iv emailed constantly had 1 reply 2 weeks ago saying plants where on way still haven't had any totally discusted and upset wish I had read reviews first don't know how I will get money back

I ordered plants totalling £184.71 I wish I'd read the reviews first. There's no phone line and I just get an automated response to emails telling me to wait longer. I've just emailed again saying I'll cancel if they don't dispatch this week because I want to order from elsewhere if they're not going to deliver. I think I may end up suing them to get my money back.

Absolutely poor quality. My plants arrived with leaves severely damanged and broken. The issues do not seem to relate to the delivery method but rather due to poor quality. Very disappointed. Customer service is non-existent. No one ever followed up with my issue.

Absolutely shocking company. My order was sent 19 days ago. No response to emails and no delivery (having seen other reviews I doubt the plants would be as described) . Money was taken immediately. I feel silly for not having checked out before I ordered but was on Facebook and assumed was as described. I can't afford to lose £43 at the moment.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOULL BE RIPPED OFF.

In view of the fact I ordered my plants on the 7th April and have continously sent emails with no answer no phone lines working impossible to contact this company. I have decided to cancel my order if it is delivered I will refuse delivery and send the order back I am prepared to seek legal advice if they do not refund my money it is worrying the amount of complaints all with the same proplem I have

I agree with the other comments on this website. There is no communication with Gardening Express. I placed an order on 3rd April 2020. The order failed to arrived and was still processing. I emailed and raised tickets on the Gardening Express website and cancelled my order due to non delivery within the time frame and have today, 27th April received the plants. They do not answer the phone, emails or respond to tickets and have not abided with the distance guidelines. Avoid.

As other customers before me: Dreadful condition of plants (bamboo) not as advertised. Received plants that you wouldn't look twice at in a garden centre never mind paying full price.

AVOID THI SITE. Plants are in weak, poor, forced, weedy and almost pitiful state. Any novice can see that these have been forced in dreadful "fake" conditions and will not last more than month in any normal garden setting. In addition they are still taking orders during Covid despite the fact that they are not replying to emails regarding missing items broken plants and ones that are totally dead upon arrival. This site is a total scam and will waste you money totally. You are better off buying seeds and growing yourself than buying the lowest quality plants have ever seen with non existent customer service.

Spent over £40 on plants . All but 1 was totally dead on arrival ( which took over 2 weeks) The clematis were just dead sticks in the soil Have now sent them 4 emails and still had no reply whatsoever. Total waste of money . Definitely stick with your local garden centre

Do not use this company still waiting after three weeks for order . If you cannot contact a company by any sensible means such as a telephone number or an email that is actually responded to do not trust them with you cash . Funds should only leave your account when your order has been dispatched. Never replied .
