Well, I have just received my delivery of plants and I am quite surprised after all the bad reviews. This is my second order from GArden Express and I’m quite taken aback by these bad reviews. The plants were late but I did have an email earlier on explaining why! The plants are fine and all look quite healthy. My previous plants are all doing well. So what’s not to like. I also received a bag of dahlia bulbs as an apology for the later delivery. Thank you Garden Express. Stella Ward.

Order placed 6.4.20 No contact No plants Very disappointing Greedy company not fulfilling orders and taking on too many orders. No way to cancel and get money back. Will have to contact my bank.

Ordered plants worth £222 on 13th April (more fool me!) and they took my money straight away. Have received nothing apart from 2 automated emails saying we haven't forgotten you. Raised a ticket on their website last Monday which still hasn't been answered. Cannot contact them any other way. Seen message below from someone saying their bank has raised a dispute so I have phoned my bank hoping for the same. DO NOT ORDER FROM GARDENING EXPRESS!!!

I have just received my order after waiting 5 weeks (this I didn’t mind so much) the wisteria I have received is dead and the frame completely broken I have never been so disappointed! Complete waste of £30!

Same as last review they took my money 1 month ago had nothing they don't reply to emails no telephone number should be reported to trading standards DONOT USE

Like everyone else, ordered my plants 4th April I’ve had one email to say goods would be delivered within 15 days of ordering since then nothing, tried their online ticket system to contact them but no response. Phoned by bank an hour ago & raised a dispute, the money is back in my account & they will now contact Gardening Express to get the money back from them. Great service from my bank.

Still waiting on my order from 29th March 2020. Raised a ticket on their website, but still no response. Shocking customer service. Will never use again. Think that's £50 I will never see again.

Waiting over 3 weeks now for delivery, no response from emails, i have cancelled my order and requested a refund but i have heard nothing back as of yet, very disappointed and should have read the reviews before and probably would not have ordered in the first place.

Don't order from this company. I ordered £65 of plants 8 weeks ago still don't have my order there is no phone to phone sent numerous emails no answers just an automatic reply. They are continuing to take customers money. I am prepared to take this matter as far as possible to get my money back they are taking advantage of people in this very stressful situation. I am going to bring this matter tothe attention of trading standards and urge everyone in my situation to do the same

Ordered 2 trees at the beginning of April, no trees, no communication, nothing. Can't even get onto their website now. Think i've been conned.

I placed an order on 9th April 2020. I have waited longer than the suggested 10-15 working days, due to the current circumstances, and have heard nothing from the company. I raised a chat ticket and was sent an automated response informing me that they could not deal with any further enquiries at this time. My money was taken and I have no way of contacting the company for a refund or to check status of delivery. I have not received updates every 5, 10 and 15 etc. working days after ordering. I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

I ordered a standard fuschia from gardening express. It took 3 weeks to arrive and was dead. Absolutely appalled at the condition of it. You cannot get hold of gardening express except by raising a ticket and that gets an automated response. Will not be using again.

Like all the other recent reviews on here, I also made the mistake of ordering plants from Gardening Express in early April. I have not had a single update from them. I expected there to be a delay during the current pandemic however the total lack of any customer service is quite frankly insulting. If they couldn't cope with the amount of orders they could fulfil, they shouldn't have been so greedy to keep accepting them from customers. I purchased plants from this company a year ago without problems so thought I could trust them.... I will be reporting them to Trading Standards. I doubt very much that I will receive my order from them. AVOID!

Ordered over £150 pounds of flowers on the 10th May, still no delivery. Raised a ticket, still no response or email. Absolute joke of a company, should have thought better of this when there wasn’t a phone number to contact them on.

Zero comms and you can tell everything you need to with these reviews. Phoned Lloyd’s and they did a chargeback with no fuss. I’d spent £200 and thought it was down the drain so mightily relieved. The woman in the disputes team said - and I quote - ‘ah yes, Gardening Express, we’ve had a fair few’.

Oh dear Like everyone else, I placed my order on 7th April, no updates per their website pledge, and no sign of my £93 order. I actually did check their trust pilot reviews prior to placing my order and all seemed well at the beginning of April. How do we get our money back, what are our recourse options? It’s quite literally criminal what this company are doing to so many customers, why are we letting them get away with it? What can we do to stop others getting ripped off, and how do the rest of us get our money back? Suggestions gratefully received.

Avoid - ordered £60 worth of plants 5 weeks ago, totally understand there’s a delay at the moment but no longer replying to emails . No idea how I ll get my money back with no communication .

Having read reviews I realise I'm one of the lucky ones in that I did, at least, receive the single plant which I ordered but it is a very poor specimen. I was thinking of sending a photo of it to Gardening Express but it seems that will be a waste of time. For sure, I won't be using this supplier again.
