My vehicle has been in an accident. My vehicle has stayed at storage for 9 days and none of the advisors have gave me reliable information. They have also constantly made false promises.

Would rate them a 0* if I could! Disgusting service! I called three times to question why my direct debit hadn’t come out. To which the person I spoke to advised me that they would write to me in 10 days to get a new direct debit set up. After three weeks of still not hearing anything, I contacted them to find that they’d cancelled my car insurance WITHOUT giving me any notification. Not only ruining my Christmas, leaving me with no car insurance, but hitting me with a £280+ cancellation fee! I DIDNT EVEN ASK TO CANCEL. Nowhere in the policy documents does it state that the policy will be cancelled if you miss one payment. As all below reviews say - AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

£128.00 increase in premium just for moving 7 miles within the same Perthshire district? Why please?

110% premium increase levied after 'no fault' claim - first claim in 33 years of driving and 11 years with Admiral. During claim procedure they're service was a disgrace and they did not provide free courtesy cars, etc, as per the policy conditions.

Everything went wrong, we had an accident, that both of the drivers were at fault, in a roundabout, it was minor accident, and the insurance company write off our car, immediately they canceled our policy without telling us, and took the premium without warning, after 2 months of waiting and calling non stop everyday ( they make you wait hours in the phone) they finally gave my car back and i asked for a second opinion that fixed my car with no problem, the insurance company tried to trick us into paying the excess plus VAT, but the garage said that was admiral responsibility. It's time to renew and now they want us to pay 500 more per year. avoid at all costs.

Admiral Insurance somehow gained access to my bank account (even though I had removed direct debit) and took a lot of money off and we did not even have valid policy at the time. Scary stuff!!! They entire attitude was disturbing and it took threatening with reports to Financial Ombudsman to get my money back. I would never deal with this company again!

A shambles from start to finish. We were given a multi-car quote online and chose to proceed. At this point we were unable to complete the quote and given a number to call. When we spoke to them they informed us the price had gone up due to an accident my partner had been involved in. This turned out to be a non-fault incident over 5 years previous when someone had reversed into her car whilst she was in the house visiting. After several phone calls and arguments my extremely upset girlfriend was given a new quote closer to the original which we decided to accept. Foolishly....the warning signs were there! I was involved in a hit and run, non-fault, incident in the final few months of the policy. What really infuriated me the most is the fact the insurance company you pay a lot of money too aren't willing to help or ease the situation but are perfectly willing to read word for word lines from a pre-drafted script! I was told to take my car into the garage to have the damage assessed. Upon doing so I was advised not to drive my car due to impact damage to the front passenger wheel. When I spoke to admiral about this I was told I couldn’t have a courtesy car until they had received a quotation! Only a 60 mile round trip to work to contend with...thanks Admiral. I'm not even going to get started on the heap of s**t car that was given. Final nail in the coffin after months of them trying to resolve my claim (and to be honest I’m still in shock that they did) was them telling me they had recovered their costs from the third party but not my excess payment and I had to speak to admiral law. They informed me as this was so low they would charge a fee and it wouldn’t be in my best interest and referred me to the third parties insurer. Big credit to Advantage Insurance Company/Hastings. They resolved the issue in no time and where extremely helpful. Shame I have just taken out a policy with someone else as I would have given them a try. Avoid Admiral Like the Plague!!!

Please anyone looking for emergency breakdown cover look else where.in July on three occasions I had to call the emergency team out as my combi boiler kept breaking down.the engineer they sent out did not diagnose the fault tried to say the gas pipe leading into the boiler was the wrong size.I ended up getting a new policy with baxi.and their engineer pin pointed the fault straight way.all admiral had to do was replace the parts.I feel totally ripped off.

Someone crashed into the back of me then drove off. My car was written off however I managed to get the vehicle's number plate, Admiral were eager to send someone to collect my car but once they took it away they said I had 2 options, I could claim on my policy or I could wait for them to identify the other party but I would be charged storage fees. Since I couldn't afford storage fees I chose to claim. Worst mistake I've made in my entire life. They valued my car at approximately a third of what it was genuinely worth. They 'invalidated' my 12 month policy (which I pad for in full) which still had 6 months remaining. I had to buy a new insurance and they are telling me that until they can identify the driver the incident was my fault, therefore I've lost my no claims bonus and the new policy which I was forced to buy was almost triple the price of my previous one. It has now been over 10 months and they are saying they have still not identified the driver even though I provided his registration plate. I have kept asking them to ring me and keep me updated but I have had to ring them every single time we've been in touch (building up an enormous phone bill). I have received an e-mail from them saying that the member of staff handling my case will be charging £245 per hour, and they will be taking that from any money I eventually receive. I couldn't believe my eyes. It is now almost time to renew my policy again which means paying for another ridiculously overpriced policy all because they threatened to charge me storage fees if I didn't claim on my policy. They tricked me and I am hundreds if not thousands of pounds out-of-pocket all because someone crashed into the back of me whilst I was driving normally and because of Admiral. Please don't make the same mistake I did, even if Admiral offer you the cheapest policy, it is worth paying the extra to be with a different company just incase you are involved in an incident.

Wrote my beautiful Audi A4 off exactly 10 days ago, my own stupid fault, wet road lost control, had £5k outstanding on finance, valued the vehicle at £4k online, market value £5k online. Was going to be stuck in debt because of this, then Dugless from claims asked a few question, says vehicle is valued at £5900!!! Said didn't matter what I valued at paying out what is FAIR! Insurance companies being fair? When did this happen, not only cleared the finance, but enough money to sort out a new car (cheap 2nd hand one so be it), but I thought this would absolutely ruin me for a few years work wise and travelling.... How about that, a 5 star review from someone who's gone though a claim, speaks volumes! 100% recommended.
