Rate 0 star not even giving them 1 at all. Beware: Stay away with a poor services insurance company!!!! I informed Amiral about car incident 7/8months ago. They took the driver detail, vichicle registration no, date of incident etc. They said to me the vichicle who hit me are insurance with them too. They need to contact with the policy holder first because the driver name was not on the policy. So they will give me a call back. A week after I still have not receive a call back from admiral. So I called back and see what happens. They replied: They can not trace the car owner!!!!!! Since then......my multi car insurance due to renew. So we call admiral again about the renewal. At the same time, we ask about the incident that we informed about 6months back. This time admiral replied: we called a month ago to cancelled the claim. Another 2 months after today, they emailed me. And ask about my own claim & allow you're no claim bonus. I called back today after the incident happened 8months ago. what's going on. I am completely lost. I do not understand why I have to claim myself that I hit by other vichicle!! And I only inform them an accident, didn't say I make a claim myself. Admiral replied: they try to trace the car owner & ask them about the driver who is uninsured on the policy. They still advisement to claim myself, pay the excess and claim it back after. This is my case, will I claim myself that I m NOT at fault! No!!!! Never help & give you any advice that's their service!!! I will never recommend Amiral to my family & friends. And stay away!!!

We have a exstnsive multicar polocy and to get a car changed or updated takes well over 2 hours waiting cuuing and none english speaking operates where you need to ask to repeate over and over again also I have to repeat it just not worth the hassle go with someone else if you can and save yourself the agro. They make mistakes as well did not cover one of my cars well 3 months forward even though I asked to start the cover now also kept the old cover running on the old car they just useless really might be there systems and processes are not easy to understand to the none English speaking workforce and that is why. I'm sure they could do better if they wanted to and not waste peoples time

Do not insure with these crooks. I have just received a renewal quote from Admiral and my policy has gone from £550 approx to £1750. I cannot possibly express how annoyed I am. A couple of months ago someone bumped into the car whilst my wife was in a shop. A friendly person who spotted the hit and run sent us contact details and the reg of the person that caused the accident. The damage on our car was fairly minor. How on gods earth can they put the policy up by £1200 per year for an accident that wasn't the wife's fault and equally the damage came no where near £1200 to fix. Their conduct is so obviously dishonest and they offered my a £40 discount when i rang them to complain. Why would anyone ever ring you to report an issue i should have just gone and got it fixed myself for £200.

Changed address online (moved 90 miles up north). They didn't provide a quote for that but confirmed they were going to process the change. This morning the bad surprise, they're going to charge me extra £150. Note: I moved within the UK, not to Bronx.

no point reviewing Admiral and their shoddy service on this website as the totals are a LIE. i you look through the reviews you will see most people give 1 star, but ADMIRAL ARE A CLIENT OF THIS WEBSITE. so the totals are it would appear, distorted. go elsewhere.

We were burgled by a thief. Then Admiral increased the excess from the required £75 (them) voluntary £100 (us) on the policy to £600!!!! 'because it was a theft'. WTF?? What kind of home insurance company does that? One you should never buy a policy from.

Worst company I have ever used. Worst customer skills, worst communication skills. Rude staff. Have no interest in the customers. Quick to take money but not bothered by depositing accepted loans when said.

This 5 star rate is for the price of the car insurance i bought from them and the way the customer service person handle my application. About the price, it was a long way cheaper than all the comprehensive car insurance i checked and compared. I hold a 1 year and a week old full UK license as i write, and i tell you it was a bargain. The person i spoke to was also very good, i told him to call me back as my call minutes are gonna be over. Hopefully i will not need to use the insurance i bought, but will give a review if ever i use it. Regarding renewal, i will give them a ring anytime this coming week to tell them not to automatically renew my insurance.

Had a renewal offer, over £150 more than last year's policy. Didn't have any claims etc so there was no reason for the price hike. Went across to tesco insurance and saved £300. Don't bother with Admiral. Cheaper insurance provided elsewhere.

I was happy with admiral up until they decided to charge me an extra £280 at the end of 2 years with them. Apparently 4 years and 9 months does not equal 5 years and due to this they are now charging me extra. On top of that they are increasing my standard policy by over £200 when it should normally decrease if there are no claims made. Overall very disappointed with their service will never recommend to anyone and will make sure anyone I know will change from admiral to any other company.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOUR......STAY AWAY FROM ADMIRAL Please do yourself a very big favour..... Stay away from ADMIRAL insurance. I have insured my car with them for a few years. Every year they will increase the cost of renewal, even though I have over 15 years of claims free driving. I argue the price and they will reduce to obtain your continued business. All OK so far. The other day I returned to my parked car and another vehicle had damaged my car. The other driver fully accepted responsibility and I assumed ADMIRAL would now take over and sort the problem. HOW WRONG COULD I BE .... They persuaded me to use another company called AUXILLIS (who are even worse to deal with). ADMIRAL told me that AUXILLIS would take over the claim, get my vehicle collected, get my car repaired and provide me with a equivalent car. The car they provided is not like mine. Furthermore, it was filthy dirty inside and out. It was badly damaged to the front near side wing and bumper. The delivery guy told me the car was all good with no damage. I chased him up the road before he left my home and asked him to come and explain. He said Oh Sorry, I didn't know about that !!!!! You can bet your life I would have been responsible !! I have now complained to ADMIRAL on three different days to get the matter resolved and have been told that a manager would look into it and get back to me. ADMIRAL now don't want to know. They say it's nothing to do with us... Even though they are my insurance company who I pay every year. So far I have sent emails and spent at least 4 hours on the telephone trying to get some response. One telephone call was ONE HOUR AND THIRTY NINE MINUTES LONG. ..... THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ADMIRAL INSURANCE.

I am an employee of Admiral. You're all right - avoid this company like the plague! They do rate on speed/driver awareness courses. They also rate on you very harshly if you're involved in a non-fault accident. They say it's your fault for being out when it's busy! Renewals is a huge joke. They up your premiums around 40% every year, and set up auto renewal, hoping you will forget about it being due, and they will charge you the ridiculous amount. Call in and we will give you some discounts, but it will never be lower than last year. Don't buy the car hire, or personal injury or breakdown cover. You will NOT get a hire car, and they will fight you on every injury claim. The breakdown is ok, but very expensive. Admiral is changing their computer systems, and it is very expensive. That's why you pay higher rates. Avoid Elephant, Diamond and Bell also. Their house insurance is terrible also. All of the employees on the phones hate their jobs and how they are treated. They're soon moving everything to India anyhow. Do yourself a favour and avoid these companies. Take it from someone on the inside! You don't want to deal with these people!
