“This company are a absolute joke! I took the policy out on the basis of me being insured for a certain amount of miles for a year long period! (never would I personally take a policy out if I was measured on how fast I drive and how I drive around corners!) the guy I spoke to ensured me it was only done on mileage and not monitoring my driving (how wrong was he) after coming back off holiday to 3 letters and then my policy being cancelled the next day, I'm now being charged £250+ cancellation fee! Don't go anywhere near this company! joke!”

“Shocking! Tried to cancel my insurance because of "driver score" but they couldn't/wouldn't explain exactly what i'd done wrong. The car I insured with them was shared between me and a sibling who has his own insurance so their was no way of them knowing I was driving at the times they say the car was driven inappropriately. Now they want over £200 to cancel the policy! This is daylight robbery, don't be fooled by the cheap premium.”

“Absolutely awful, took out a policy with them at beginning of year. They cancelled the policy and didn't think to let me know so was driving around with no insurance for 2 months until a police officer decided to stop me and seize my car for of course having no insurance. Rang them up and they were very rude and couldn't explain why I was still paying DD 3 months after!! Avoid this company!!!!”

“if I could leave minus stars I would... according to my black box reading I went at 92MPH round a country bend.... got a letter saying my insurance was being cancelled and when tried to dispute that it was physically impossible to reach those speeds and for somebody to please double check that my black box was working correctly I was refused. After waiting 5 days for a phonecall I was told that my black box couldn't possible be taking incorrect readings and that the policy cancellation date had now been moved forward to the following morning (2 days before the original date stated in the letter.) Vile and disgusting customer service I will now lose my 1 years no claims, my money and have higher premiums for something I did not do.”

“Worst insurance company ever. The experience I had with autosaint was terrible and I'd advise anyone who's thinking of taking a policy out to not take one out with this company. The customer service is terrible, I spoke to a manager who was rude and hung up on me! I'd never go with this company and save yourselves the trouble too and look elsewhere.”

“This insurance company is a complete joke! My first year driving, I thought i'ld go with this company as it was convenient and cheap.. First mistake.. MILEAGE! I originally put down an annual mileage of 7,000 which I calculated roughly on their website, I didn't think it mattered much as my black box was only measuring the SPEED, BRACKING AND ACCELERATION.. which is wrong. As soon as I exceeded the mileage, they called me and suggested that I needed an extra 5,000 miles for a further 3 months until my policy ended, I thought this was ridiculous and suggested 4,000 MAXIMUM! For this, they charged me an extra £500, taking my insurance from £140 a month to £250 for the last couple of months. I also had to pay £130 there and then on the phone. THAT'S THE FIRST PROBLEM. SECOND- a month later, they took £430 out my bank?! They were only suppose to take the monthly agreement of £250. I immediately called up and they told me it was an ERROR? I was getting charged for direct debits which were suppose to come out, the lot.. they were so inconsiderate, even though they apologized for the mistake.. All in all, total joke. I would definitely not recommend for any young drivers.”

“After paying £1700 for a black box policy on autosaint last year (age 18, 1 year NCD) I tried to renew by asking for a new quote. I was quoted £1800 despite having 2 years NCD, 2 years of owning a license and being a current customer. I was also told that there's new rules on the black box, if the driver is over 25mph the speed limit their insurance will be terminated. I wrote customer support an email last week, however they still haven't gotten back to me.”
