“I opened a BOS account last year thinking my monies was safe something they don’t tell you is that if the governments wants monies off you they can just go in and steal your monies legally, I pay my ex wife the correct amount of child maintenance every month for over 5 years but she won’t show her statements but I do so the government can take monies out with no explanation only that your not paying, if a bank can do that to someone who is not a criminal the government are saying now that we all are!! be carful with BOS , TSB , Santander they just give your monies away time to stop this legal crime by anyone,”
“Closing Auchterarder branch, so much for customer service ! Elderly people don't all have the internet. That is the last bank in Auchterarder. There is always a queue outside on the three days it is open and a queue inside ! Keeping Crieff branch but there are 3 banks in Crieff ( not their concern I know)Taking away theATM too, I have an account that charges me for taking money from any other ATM! My elderly parent does not have the internet, too deaf for phone banking and has been a BOS customer 60 years !! even has your expensive home insurance. loyal customer but disloyal bank .”
“Terrible service! The worst I’ve ever had anywhere! Staff speak to you like garbage just pass you on to someone else over and over and never get an issue solved. Opened a complaint and the offer a proxy tenner for all my time wasted. Then when I refuse their tenner close the complaint, just boycott this robbing bank”
“They updated their online banking APP and it wont work with my phone and it forms one of their new protection systems. When I went on line to tell them their form would not allow me to send until I completed the Captcha test that wasn't on the screen. I called their help line and found myself talking to a less than helpful chap. He said it was tough when I mentioned the APP, it was my computer's fault that the captcha pop up wasn't there and flatly refused to pass the message on to their IT people. I was also getting emails from them that directed me to a site on line that my virus proctection refused to connect me to because it found security weak. I had previously asked on line if the emails were from them but got no response, this chap said that the bank would not send me emails, and the said it would. I said I would be changing accounts to another bank, thats what I'm looking at now.”
