“Always are able to deal with my problems and enquiries. The only thing is that sometimes is takes a while to get through to a agent on the live chats, but I guess that can’t be helped. Overall experience is very good and will continue my policy with you.”

“It was easy to register to carrot insurance and everything was very clear. I had an easy experience. I got my black box installed within 14 days and the person who came to do it did it quickly and efficiently.”

“I enjoyed being insured with carrot. The weekly treats are such a reward each week. The only thing making this review not 5 stars is that you can only contacts via live chat, it took me 40 minutes to get through to someone and 15 minutes for a conversation at could of been resolved in a 2 minute phone call. Overall a good insurance.”

“Overall haven't had any issues. Took out insurance the other day and was the best quote I could find compared to other insurance companies, and their customer service seem to be quite helpful. Only thing I’d say is that they don’t have an on the phone customer service, it’s on live chat, which may be a struggle for older people, and is also slightly frustrating as you have no clue what number you are in the que at all. So you just wait till you receive a message which feels like forever just staring at your phone. Also when taking out insurance I didn’t have the option when filling out all my details and information to add breakdown cover, so I had to take this out separately when asked on live chat, it didn’t take very long but it would just be more efficient to have the option when taking out the insurance.”

“Happy to deal with online connection and it was quick or quicker than waiting for someone to answer my call. All my questions were answered and even better no up-selling, apart from one question,did I want additional cover which when I said no was accepted and quote given quickly. Happy with using Chat.”

“Very good insurance company, and very helpful customer services, only reason they are not a 5 start is because the only way you can communicate with them is via an online chat and not being able to call them and speak to someone over the phone”

“The carrot points system is extremely frustrating - they go from "pending" to "lost" within hours and no obvious way/time or date that you can reliably grab them before gone. I have lost hundreds over the past year, not through bad driving but due to being unable to claim in the seemingly narrow time window, that varies!”

“My second year with carrot, I have the black box policy, very happy with the price and service, had a few problems accessing rewards on my dashboard, but after a conversation on live chat this was soon rectified. Would recommend”
