AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM!! They basically take your money then try their best to find some sort of loophole so they can cancel your policy and charge you a huge cancellation fee. They tried every trick in the book to the point they even told me the Thames Water bill I sent to them was an "editable document" and when I got Thames Water to directly email them my bill which was password protected (for obvious identity theft reasons) they still refused to accept it as "they cannot put passwords in to verify documents". So basically, if YOU send the bill to them they won't accept it and if your billing company sends it to them directly they STILL won't accept it no matter what you do or say and will talk to you in a threatening manner. Match all of this with how unprofessional they are when you call them that I won't be surprised if Fluxdirect turns out to be some sort of identity theft scam as they constantly ask you for documents. After 2 weeks of finally being insured they then called and asked for another bill besides the two bills and driving license i've already sent them in order to approve a loan which is with a third party and not with FluxDirect! They claim their requests are to help cut out insurance fraud and discrepencies but when they refused to accept the bills sent to them I told them to call the police if they beleive I am trying to commit insurance fraud which they sidestepped constantly. My advice is stay away and pay the extra to go to a more reputable company as god forbid if I have an accident. I bet these guys will try everything under the sun to cancel your insurance so they don't have to pay out and you'd be the one in jail. If by some moment of stupidity you have a policy with FluxDirect (like me) makes sure you record all phone calls (and tell them you're recording) and get everything in writing as they will turn on you. I'm still stuck with these guys and am in the the process of sending a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman and i'll keep you posted on any happenings but seriously just stay clear of these guys. You won't even want to drive your car once these guys are done with you.

Rang up to speak about a customer of theirs who make a claim against me. The woman I spoke to was poorly trained and just spoke like you wasn't worthy of her time. Wasn't interested in what I had to say. Very Poor service.

*** RIP OFF, QUOTES ARE POINTLESS *** Got a quote, declared all the mods on my discovery including the engine mods. Instead of telling me to ring them for confirmation they went ahead and offered me a quote which I then accepted and paid in one lump. TWO days later I got a text telling me to ring them and THEY cancelled the policy and charged me the admin charge and £28 for TWO days insurance.. That's £5110 a year, the quote was £383, wait let me get my socks off and do the math..

Please AVOID this company by any means!!!! 1) they are NOT an insurer, just a broker 2) the amount of paperwork you will have to fill in, declare and then post over and over again is just redicilous. Any little amendment cost me over £75 in FINE (now that is just redicilous). 2 months later I was told they cannot insure me afterall, and I ended up with an additional cancellation fee of over £250. In the end I spent more than had I gone to a regular, known insurer. 3) if you try calling them, you may hold well over 40mins. 4) short, they are a real RIP OFF Safe your money and time people!

Wouldn't recommend using these as they make everything ten times harder than it needs to be with a crazy amount of paper work to be provided before hand

Please avoid this company. Done a quote online with mods declared had insurance for a month then asked to provide evidence of my modifications. Then had a phone call of a horrible woman the next day asking where is my evidence of mods. So I explained there car was in a garage getting painted and also having a turbo upgrade. And she proceeded to tell me I haven't declared any mods. Hmmm okay so you think I'll spend all this money on my car then lie but tell you on the phone okay lady do 1. 2 days later email the insurance is cancelled. Pleases stay away from theses con men/woman.

I have two houses which i live in both as i have two baby mothers, i tried getting a quote for my golf mk6 R, i got the quote online then i called up as i wanted to go ahead with it, no1 i was on hold for over 10minz just for them to find my quote an then at the end they say we cant insure u as u quoted at two addresses, they dont speak very polite an not very helpful either. Never would i get a policy with them as you can just see whats comming next.

Unfortunately my old car broke so Iv been forced to change I have had numerous quotes on numerous different makes of car its like these people are just here to rip people off I had a 1.6 focus and nearly every car iv had a quote on regardless of the make or size have been extra they tryd to tell me it would be an extra £200 to change to a bog standard 1.4 corsa because a corsa is a popular car so more people crash them but when I first passed my test last year a corsa was one of the cheapest cars for me to insure because its one of the lowest groups the people here havnt got a clue I was once quoted 10000 on a 1.6 golf even though id been quoted alot less on the same make and modle on a different day when I told them this the told me this is a different day now and thats the quote I asked to speak to someone els and they hung up the phone VERY UN PROFESIONAL company stay well clear after this yr has finished I will not be using this company again!

Taken car insurance with this company through confused.com. Premium was increased when taking policy because according to them, not all questions were covered by confused.com, although they are happy to use this site. Extremely rude customer adviser and poor service in general. They say they would send an email but it never arrived. If you want to avoid yourself grief, do not use them.

Stay away from as they are the worst company I had the displeasure to deal with ever. Read the Terms of Business and YOU WILL BE SHOCKED as how it is even legal !!!????

They wanted proof of address and I was gonna supply them, asked to send me an e-mail with the details where to send it to. In the morning i get a cancellation e-mail. I decided to cancel at that time anyways as the manner they try to SCARE the costumer with the way the e-mail are written is not acceptable. They question your integrity as if we don't know that if one gives the incorrect details the policy is void. Be AWARE, very AWARE as there is an fee of £80.00 even if the policy has not started yet. Flux Direct is a scam.

Hi. Do not buy insurance with flux direct...they will take the money and then send you a ton of leters to supply the history of your life and pictures of the whole neighbourhood and then pretend they have not received any of them (even if send with recorded delivery) and then increase your premium. After a month cancel the policy and keep 50% of the premium. The worst customer service ever and the biggest thieving company.

My son in law took out insurance yesterday they took his deposit ,today he rang as the insurance wasn't showing on the police data base and was informed they had cancelled the policy as he had said he was a labourer but they decided they don't insure labourers and won't return the payment ,if he had not checked he could have been diving around unaware he was uninsured ,if this isn't sorted out pronto I'm going to watchdog ,financial services ombudsman and any other means to get this company to stop ripping people off ,do not use this company ever
