Excellent prices and good on line service. If you want to speak to person don't use GA. My queries by email have been answered quickly,and effectively. I have changed my car type and due to errors at the garage have needed to amend the model twice , the reg number twice, and change to private plates. All instant and absolutely no fees. No complaints whatsoever.

Today I had an accident. I been calling to General Accident insurance company and I received as much support as possible. Very thankful to all team, especially Katie, who help me with everything.

Have got a good quote through an insurance comparison site but can't get in touch via telephone to clarify some points- if you're this difficult pre-contract stage, dread to think about after service!

they're really cheap, im 21 and drive a 1.6 bmw and they worked out cheaper than other providers by a couple of hundred! 4 stars as when i've needed to contact them they've been really helpful and easy to talk with. not rating 5 stars as i haven't had an accident so not sure how they are if you do have one!

I have tried to get in touch with them on the phone but the the robot keeps telling that my insurance number is incorrect!

I sent a proof of no claims discount which was a renewal invitation clearly stating the number of years I had and u said it didn't say anything I can't even tell you to check properly because there's no way to contact you I have a original proof of NCD in my hand and I can even send this too because you blocked any kind of way of me contacting you or uploading any more documents even tho my cancellation is not due until next day and you took about a grand within 2 months and still trying to take more due to cancellation fee pure scam will only recommend not to go with you

i have spent 4 hours on the internet wanting to pay my car insurance so i wont be insured on saturday 13th may thaks a bunch

I have lost several hours searching for a General Accident phone no. that works, waiting on hold and being told repeatedly that General Accident has a 'host' of internet options instead of calling them, ie. being put on hold for 25-30 minutes. I wanted to make changes to my policy and couldn't drive my new car until I sorted it out. I was told to do this through their website because if the person I was talking to did it it would cost £33.00. I wonder how many people just give up on contacting General Accident and either don't use their vehicle or drive it without insurance anyway. In my opinion this poor service only increases profits. They clearly don't care about their customers.

I would not recommend this company. I have cancelled my policy and have the email confirmation. I have now received a default payment notice saying I have not paid for cover that I don't have and If I refuse to pay I will be taken to court. All I can do is email them. I don't have phone support as I'm not a customer, what a joke. Wont be using ever again.

I have dealt with a number of companies in my time but none so absolutely incompetent and abruptly rude as the several people I have dealt with in this company. Bad, bad, bad!!!!!

Well i have not had to contact you up until now. I have now bought a new vehicle and want to change my insurance to this vehicle but have no number for them so have to do it by email which seems a little silly to me. Wont be using them again after January 2017.

Appalling customer service. If you're "lucky" to have a 30 day phone line to them, you will wait forever to speak to someone. No apologies when you finally get through, the staff sound as if they could not care less. Good riddance.

had an accident in December 2016, not my fault, as soon has I got home I rang them a Courtesy Car was in place, someone was going to pick my car up for Repair it was that quick,

Was going to renew my Policy with them for a second year but wanted to discuss some detail. On the phone you are in a permanent queue and they do not return the call as promised; I rang six times!!! I tried emailing them but they replied asking me not to as they were very busy!!! What on earth happened to customer service? - I blame :- a) a non- existent business Policy. b) appalling staff at all levels c)Brexit d) Donald Trump Needless to say I renewed with another company.

Lapsed my previous car insurance policy when it expired so that I was unable to access my new policy online and no means of contacting GA to resolve this. Terrible customer service.
