I crashed my car and the money was returned to me promptly, which was very good. But in general to contact this company is extremely difficult its almost as if they dont want the hassle. Customer service is therefore utterly atrocious. Typical insurance company.

i have a quote to buy a new policy. i had a quiery and phoned to get an answer. after a wait on line i entered a number for a call back. none came same proceedure next day. i will now look else where.

My claim was sorted within a couple of hours of me ringing the claims line for an accident that was not my fault. My car was booked in for repair with Solas- Excellent return, only problem was getting a small car for me, but again all sorted on the day my vehicle collected & came back valeted 😃

AVOID!!!!!!! In my first year of insurance I was involved in a car accident, that wasn't my fault, that wrote my car off. General Accident called me the next day to say the third party admitted fault. I then wanted to cancel my policy when it came to an end and paid a deposit with another company. A couple days later it came back as CANCELLED as the third party had not admitted fault. There was also another claim made against me that they did not make me aware of! I then had to continue using them as an insurance company because being a young driver no one would insure me. So when my insurance was cheaper with someone else I went to change with them telling my insurance would end on 30.1.17 23:59. I got an email this morning saying my policy is already cancelled and my new policy doesn't start until tomorrow with my new insurer. Meaning I have to insure my car for A DAY with someone else. Don't believe the 24 hour contact number either. It's only available for the first 30 days of you policy after that it's really difficult to get hold of them. Awful company! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!

Would never use this company again had a issue updating policy for new car to be refused by the underwriters tried to speak to an agent but only will deal on line then you don't get a correct reply via email one week later still trying to get a correct response went to another company Liverpool Victoria with agents who do want to speak to you very unhappy customer!!!!

***TIP TO GET IN CONTACT*** I was being charged for insurance that I had cancelled, no reply after month of sending an email, and my information to speak to someone on the phone stopped being valid! I had to get a new pretend quote with quotation number, phone the number using the new quotation number and was put through to someone, explained and everything is all sorted now :)

The experience on line was as easy as any I have had before when arranging a car insurance usually by phone. I have not had to get in touch with the company since arranging and await the company's quotation when the years insurance is over.

as a complete novice regarding buying insurance online and not knowing how to download my no claims documents, a quick phone call and a very helpful lady on the other end of the line. Job Done!

Not sure they should even have I star. missed I payment on my policy, as I was ill and therefor did not get paid, having just being diagnosed with breast cancer I did not connect the dots. I have be trying all day to make the missed payment. the payment option bar does not appear to exist. the numbers I have rung do not exist, and the number I did get through to, rang then asked me to put mu telephone number in for call back. it refused to recognise both my land line and my mobile number. all I want to do is make the missed payment

Easy to deal with, everything's online and simple Unfortunately when going to renew my insurance they wanted to charge me a additional £265 from the year previous. Even when I said that I had other companies offering £450 cheaper than them I was told nothing can be done and that's the best quote they could give me. Disappointing.

trying to claim my excess fee back from when a car hit me 300 pounds put me on to carpenters solictors they are fobbing me off now 5 months nothing saying can't find my letter was signed for just keep saying well call you never do don't bother you won't get any help or ecess fee back going to legal ombudsman now to get them to sort it.

I am afraid that I tapped a car at a junction doing no more than 3 miles an hour, the damage was slight, but the person in the other car still wanted to make claim. The process was quick & easy, although on my part could be quite expensive. But nobody was hurt & cars can be repaired, I repaired my own at my own expense. So I hope this will be enough information for your revue. Many thanks . Mr James Pullen.

Suddenly realised my car insurance ran out in two days. Tried to contact GA as I had had no renewal note from them. The number on the policy was answered by an abrupt 'this number no longer in use', no alternative given. Tried four other phone numbers I found by wading through policy, all told me 'this number is for claims only'. I gave up and went elsewhere, absolute rubbish company do not even warrant one star. Do they even bother to read the reviews I wonder?
