Wanted chargeback _ provided all necessary requirements _ but have to say that all communication via phone and online have been negative _ and all the banking staff have been useless. _ so goodbye and good riddance from me.

I've been with them for over a decade and can't say I've felt the love much. The service has been slow and inefficient, and no gestures of good will have ever been shown to me, despite being on time with payments and trusting them with my money for such a long time. I decided to close my account because I could no longer afford it, but was made to keep it just long enough to pay the account admin fee for one more month, even though I was not going to use it for that month and they knew that. The clerks were less than understanding. So way to ruin literally the last thing, Lloyds. Terrible experience, I'm so glad I left them!

Michael Huke manager at Lloyds Bank HQ Bristol UPDATE…… Following this incident, the video/s (Michael Huke Lloyds Banker) were uploaded onto YouTube by one of the many people they had been forwarded too. 2 months later the person videoing the incident was arrested at his place of work, because Michael Huke the person rolling on the floor, claimed uploading the videos was harassment, as it made him look stupid/imbecilic and unprofessional in front of his staff which undermines and threatens his position as a manager at Lloyds Bank HQ Bristol. The arrested person initiated legal proceedings against Avon and Somerset Police for wrongful arrest, following court application the police released ‘Disclosure’ documents relating to their investigation, within these documents was a confession from Michael Huke that ‘he had not been attacked by the old man’ as he had reported to the police immediately after, and ‘had faked the attack’ in a vengeful attempt to get all parties into trouble. He also stated he was driving past on his way to the shops ‘he didn’t have any shoes on’, which indicates he was consumed with rage because the old man had parked outside his house so he scurried out to confront/attack him, forgetting his shoes. An out of court settlement was made by the police and accepted, the estimated cost to the police following this action is estimated at £150K. Michael Hukes actions ‘wasting police time’ and ‘perverting the course of justice’ are being investigated/processed and if proven/found guilty the later would almost certainly incur a custodial sentence, the police officer who made the arrest has since left the police force, Michael Huke has once again moved away to a nearby village.

Don't bank with them. Someone can easily steal the money from your account and they will tell you that is not their fault. I work in the shop and lots of customers are complaining about that bank too.

Having been made homeless I need a £50 overdraft for 5 days only. Went on online banking, filled in the 10 minute long questionnaire, was giving a reference number and a number to ring for further help. Rung number, got automated service that DID NOT WORK. After hanging up and retrying 4 times finally got through to a human. Waste of time because I didn't have an overdraft I can't have one!!! NO LLOYDS BANK you do NOT help people regardless what you say on your website ... I have been customer for 12 years now and never had overdraft. At the time I was in desperate need you did not help. Can you recommend a good bank please

A manager at Lloyds Bank HQ Bristol moved next door, friendly to begin with then turned into the neighbour from hell. He sent TEXTS calling some footballers Northern black c---s (he used the full word), another boasted his secretary gave him a blow job when allocating bonuses, another mocked his boss for taking time off work with a mental illness. We disassociated with him, he was prosecuted for allowing his dog to continually defecate outside our property, he was issued with a Community Protection Warning. He then attacked us, which was captured on CCTV (view Michael Huke Lloyds Banker on YouTube). He later falsely accused us of harassment for which we were arrested, we’ve since sued Avon and Somerset police who made an out of court settlement which is estimated cost them £150K in total. Lloyds Banking Group is aware of the above and still employ him!

the bereavement service support to close a deceased account stinks. Promises given TWICE failed to carry out transfers of funds to accounts agreed with lloyds.

Worst customer service ever in Coventry City Centre. For 7th time I'm going there to open a bank account and everytime was different document that they asked me for, I've paid 30 pounds to get a legit document from my GP to proof my address because they didn't accept my gas bill statement. Even with this legit document from my gp they couldn't open a bank account. Because was a different person from yesterday, every day different person from this bank want from me different document and for now I still don't have a bank account...

Absolutely useless, 1st complaint dealt with, experienced the same problem weeks laters & was told after being on the phone for over 2 hours the original complaint would have to be reopened & I would hear back within 4 weeks. 6 weeks later nothing chased again today to be told after half hour the case is locked & need to wait longer until the case has been looked at by management. Customer service is non existent, I have banked with Lloyds for 20 years from current account, credit cards, loans & Mortgage I will be now looking to move banks as I don’t feel like valued customer anymore.

We are an Auction business which have been trading for 30 years. We transact approximately £500,000 annually. We have a small overdraft facility which in the past 3 years have used once to the tune of £250. We have now had the overdraft facility removed just after 2 years of COVID. If you are a business don't even think about going to Lloyds. We are trying to extricate ourselves from this dreadful bank and go to a real business bank Barclays.

Worst policy ever with the OTP sent through mail within 7 days. So basicaly for 7 days i cannot see my account and do online transactions because the system didn't think it's me and guess what , the problem is that my phone doesn't have google services and it requires every time extra security questions although i use my fingerprint password. You can use a call security or phone otp or any other instant verification so you can help people not cut them out from the services they pay :)

The most stupid bank i have ever been to. They didn’t let me open an account just because my address was written in different format the letter I provided to them as proof of address. The funny things they were saying we know its silly to say this but we can’t process your application. Please don’t waste your time to go there specially for new folks.
