I had quotes from other well known company’s but found Lloyd to be the cheapest I will when due to quote for my renewal.

I'm in Spain on holiday and I recieved an sms from Lloyds yesterday saying, 'thanks for reporting your card lost/stolen'. I phoned the hotline to explain that I had not reported my card stolen and my card was in my hand, only to be told that it was blocked and could not be unblocked. So I'm now in Cordoba with no card and 17 euro in my wallet. Total incompetance!

I was helped and guided through joining my company to Lloyd's energy by Patrick. At first( like everybody I suppose) I was sceptical he was after a quick buck but this fellow went the extra mile ,explained everything and sorting things. Lloyd's fraud team are absolutely super! Sophie, a member of the fraud team in Liverpool, was incredibly helpful and understanding. I felt like she did her job to an excellent standard and made me feel at ease about the return of my money which was stollen from me. Thank you so much Sophie (I hope I spelt your name right).

The bank service is really poor and for such a large banking society they weren't able to fight for my money back from fraudulent incident i lost hundreds of pounds and i have lost all hope as the bank has closed my case and rejected any further inquiries regarding my money. I will not bank with them never again and i recommend new comers to join elsewhere such a barclays bank or natwest

Terrible customer service and unhelpful in basic banking needs. I tried to complain about the poor service I received but incompetent and racist complaints handlers such as Eileen McShane gives Lloyds Bank a bad name. This bank discriminates against those that are most in need of help and offers no help online or by phone.

Haslemere brand should be open in businesses hours 8.30 to 5.30 included Saturdays(may be at different hours) Isn't really helpful for local businesses. Also speed up the waiting times because is ridiculous to waiting so long for simple things. No really efficient management at all. Guildford brand is an a good example of efficiency. Thanks.

Failure to communicate changes to cheque paying requirements followed by complete inability to provide solution. Business support nonexistent just put everything out to complaints department who answer nothing. After over 12 years they have hit an all time low in poor customer service.

I cannot think of one thing they have done properly in the last 12 months. This has to be the worst and most expensive bank in the UK.

I lost my wallet and the lady found it took my bank card to Lloyds bank one branch and told them to call me and give her contact details to me so I can retrieve my wallet from her and they did just so an hour later I got a call from the bank so I am very happy right now

In 2001, we were persuaded to take out some ISA's despite the fact that they were running at a higher rate than ever before. When I questioned that, they informed me that in their opinion, the rise would continue for some time. Of course the value dropped & by 2004 we had lost half of our investment. In 2007, we found out that Lloyds had been trying to take a PPI payment for a credit card that was paid off & cancelled out of our account for three years. As we were not in the UK, we were not aware of this & there was no money in the account. It took us over 6 months for them to reluctantly admit their error & as a result of their incompetence, it cost us around £60,000 because of the jump in property prices. Some years later they hiked up the rate of interest on my credit card because I had only been paying minimum payments telling me that 'It would help my finances'! How does charging me more help my finances? In September 2018, I cancelled a standing order online. It didn't get cancelled & three payments of £500 have been sent to a recipient. They deny that I cancelled the Standing Order & stated that their system is infallible & errors don't happen. Don't use Lloyds bank....

They have locked my card and tell me l need to go to a branch with photo I'd to unlock it. They have kindly closed my branch so l will have to trek. No explanation and l filled the security sweep on an account that l have had for 40 years? Simply do not give a monkey's about me, but if l had owed them money, well, l bet security would not have been an issue then!

Service in Durham branch is disgraceful, attitude of your walk about staff is like the police force. You only ever have 1 and on a lucky day 2 behind the counter, with ques every day. You seem to forget your providing a service not giving away free money !! Every visit take valuable time out of my day. And you make it difficult to leave comment on here !

This bank makes it very hard for people that come from other countries to make an account, even if they are already working in the UK. Due to my NiNo being processed at the moment I was asked to bring utility bills(that are not easy to have, if you don't have a bank account or enough time in the country). And a letter from my employer verifying that I work there, which I brought and got rejected, because they did not like the format of the letter, even though it had all the required information. In addition to that they did not accept it because it had an electronic signature and quote on quote "You could have made this yourself". I find this at the least unacceptable.
