I have found the service LV give to be of a standard that I would expect from a professional organisation, but do seem to get a better quote on line than the renew notice quotes,but then I am a old fool that does get confussed easy.

Britannia 'rescue', with an average rescue time of 44 minutes. What a load of rubbish they tell us. My son was left stranded from 6.45 am until after 9, almost two and half hours before he was picked up. This was not a large vehicle requiring specialist recovery, just a small 125cc motorcycle that could fit into the back of a small van. Nor was it in the wilderness, nor was it in the middle of a busy city in rush hour. Hadleigh, less than ten miles from Ipswich with a population of 135,000 people. The excuse, the contractor was busy on another job. Does a national breakdown company only have one breakdown contractor in a town of this size? I recommended this service to my son after being a member for years, now it has changed. I shall be looking elsewhere myself because this is not the same company that I knew of as the best rescue service available. Not just poor, not just bad, this is appalling service, they are very efficient when they take your subscriptions but not so efficient to provide the service they brag about.

Seems a pity you have to get a quote on line and then compare it with your renewal letter.after ringing up you have always negotiated the price down but I'd be happier to get the cheaper price at first. I should then feel like a valued customer",

If I have a complaint it would be that there is always some considerable difference between what is stated as the premium on a website (comparison site) and what you quote over the telephone. .
