“Had some daffodils delivered from a friend for my birthday put them straight in water, cut stems and were brown within 4 days of having them. Did online complaint with customer services who were the rudest people ever telling me it was my fault....I'm not sure how when I followed the instructions. Will never ever purchase flowers from m and s again and your customer service is shocking”

“I had a rose plant and chocolates delivered from a friend for my birthday.The rose buds would not open and the leaves were dying on the plant , Didn’t want to tell my friend in case it upset her.Really very disappointed at M&S for supplying inferior plants.”

“This was an expensive bouquet of flowers for Easter. When they arrived I unpacked them immediately. Two of the roses heads were drooping a number of other flowers looked past their best. They had either been out of water too long or they just picked whatever was at hand regardless of the condition of the flowers you were going to send out. I can’t return them to the shop but I would have expected much better from Marks I could buy much cheaper flowers from else where that are better quality. I have made at least ten attempts to upload photos of the various flowers and it keeps telling me there is a problem. If you want to see the flowers you will have to provide another means of providing photos”

“Flowers were not delivered despite notification that they had been delivered at 7.30pm - very late in the day and after the stated 7.00 deadline. All I was offered was a refund or next day delivery in 2 days! Will never use M & S again. Very disappointed.”

“Terrible service never will I ever shop with you again I will stick with Next they know what they are doing . Waited for ages to get hold of cushions to match my bedding did next day delivery only one arrived and you said the other would be here next day with DPD as soon as they turned up I knew it was wrong as it was so small I opened it up to find it was a cover only and the wrong one so I phoned up customer service and the women couldn’t even take the order no told me sorry I can’t get in so I said would you like me to say it for the fourth time finally it clicked with her and she got in I’ve never experienced such bad service.”

“I was disgusted with the wilting flowers that I received for Mother’s Day . It spoiled my Mother’s Day by having to wait in all day on the Sat, Supposedly time of delivery was AM, 2.15 came - no show. My son contacted them - no apology - given another time PM - no show again. Contacted them again - time given for Sunday afternoon delivery At last they arrived - no one rang the bell just left them on the doorstep. Opened the box - I wanted to cry. They were Wilting, limp, many were dead and nothing like to what my son ordered. I complained to the company, they were very apologetic, but couldn’t do nothing about it because I didn’t have the order number, my son had ordered them. Contacted him, he got in touch with the company and got full refund, wouldn’t trust them for a replacement as this was the second time it had happened. After wasting a whole weekend waiting in I received nothing. I am a very disappointed 80 year old lady. I will never ever order any more flowers from M&S again, their reputation has gone zero from myself.”

“Mother’s Day flowers were ordered to be delivered for my Mother in law. The demo was perfect but the flowers were in such poor condition. Crispy and burnt, broken and droopy.”

“Flowers ordered in plenty time for delivery today. Arrived at 7.30pm tonight, after 2 days in transit, in a poorly state. M&S asked if I wanted a replacement. Chose the refund as not wanting another depressing delivery”

“I ordered the Valentine's Dozen Red Rose Bouquet to be delivered to my wife on Valentine's Day. The parcel was delivered by DPD as promised but the roses were battered, dried out and heads were snapped off. I was given a full refund but the customer services guy didn't seem to be bothered that we were so disappointed”

“Very disappointed with M&S Indian favourites box (menu to share) We followed the timmings for cooking and the end result came as a surprise of congieled sauces that did not even emulate the photo's on the box .At over £12.00 I feel the same product at under four pounds less is far nicer from Morrisons. This is inclusive of larger portions ,far higher flavours and larger plus lighter textured onion bhajis. Sadly M and S you really let us time this time .”

“My friend bought me a Luxury Christmas Flowering Basket, which must have cost a great deal of money, but only a day or two later all the plants in that basket, especially the roses, apart from the peace lily, were dying or dead. They seem to have been planted on the day of sale and therefore were not settled - why do this?! A huge disappointment!”
