“Ordered bouquet. For my brother and his wife 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday 5th September, they never arrived. DHL informed me that my order is delayed and could be another 2-3 days, does this mean my flowers are in a hot van during this heat wave. Very disappointed and upset. There is no one I can inform.”

“My daughter sent me a trough container of white miniature roses for my birthday. So disappointed.. the leaves were pale and wilted, the stems broken and within a few days both little plants were dead. It was particularly worrying as I sent the same gift to a friend for her birthday. Now I am wondering what condition they were in! I have spoken to customer service to register my complaint and await an outcome. Just not the quality we expect from M and S! Totally unacceptable.”

“Really disappointed in the small bouquet delivered to my friend. It cost £40 and looked more like a £25 bouquet. Not using M&S again for flowers.”

“Received flowers for my birthday even with changing water recutting stems keeping out of direct sunlight these have only lasted 4 days .very disappointed as another bouquet I received from tesco are still looking like new 😕”

“Received flowers which were obviously very expensive. Apart from several exotic blooms the rest was pieces of dried bushes . Very ugly and dehydrated . Shocking . I'm so sorry my family paid a lot of money for them snd they were ripped off 50% flowers and 50% dried stems of shrubs .”

“Received some flowers from friends. Terrible. They looked awful when they arrived so I took the leaves off and cut the stems. But unfortunately most flowers only lasted 2 days.”

“Ordered flowers and chocolates for a friend recovering from surgery.Flowers arrived a day late and still no chocolates yet after waiting a week. I am disgusted.Tried to speak to M&S but nobody to take a call.”

“My lovely friend sent me M&S flowers for my birthday. The flowers that M&S delivered were awful, wilted with petals falling off. M&S agreed to replace them and sent me a similarly poor bunch of roses which will be "dead" in a day. This is rather embarrassing for me as I have been sending out M&S flowers for years and can only wonder how poor those gifts have been. And to add to this, the DPD driver yet again dropped the delivery at my door, rang the bell and drove off without checking that I was at home to receive the parcel.”

“Ordered a bouquet from M & S as an anniversary present for our friends. Ordered on Monday for delivery on Wednesday. At first I was disappointed to learn that the delivery time was given as between 17:07 and 18:07, but then later advised DPD were running late. As a result the bouquet was not delivered on Wednesday and it said a card had been left, which has not been confirmed by our friends. However, the next day, the tracking info said that the delivery was attempted at 15:30, which is completely incorrect. The bouquet finally arrive a day late with the roses in tired but reasonable condition. We won’t use M&S again to buy flowers and I suggest they need to improve the delivery service dramatically.”

“Had flowers sent to me , they came in a terrible condition , yellow stems and battered flower heads !! , Another came as a gift 4 days later , should of been flowers & chocolates , flowers wilting & no chocolates !!! , whats happened to quality control , this is not M&S !! , this is awful M&S”

“Sent Sunflowers to a friend for a special occasion ....they arrived a day late looking tired and wilted and 3 days later looked dead....I did receive a refund but that's not the point... my friend was embarrassed to tell me I need to get a refund and I was embarrassed to hear this as I wanted her to receive some lovely fresh Sunflowers.very disappointing from a retailer company like M@S.”

“After the death of a much loved family member a friend sent me a large bunch of roses from M & S . They arrived looking very tired and some leaves had rust spots on them. The card with the message on had a spelling error which the sender would not misspell. I contacted customer serves who apologised and immediately offered a replacement. I told them about the message in the card and what it should have read. 2 days later the replacement roses arrived. They did look better but not nice and fresh. The card still had the spelling error which was a disgrace ! Honestly the flowers from Aldi are far nicer and fresher and considerably M & S roses were £35 a bunch ( which was what the sender had bought ) They would have been so disappointed as was I.”

“Ordered flowers for my mum to mark the anniversary of my fathers passing. She waited in for the allotted slot they didn’t show. Said the dpd driver did show up outside threw packages about all over his van then drove off. Still no sign of them. Second time they have let me down with an order won’t be using again”

“My issue is with M&S online delivery service. The item, 'delivered' here to our East Lincolnshire address at midday on Monday 26 June, by notoriously poor EVRI (Hermes), was thrown over a 2.2 metre high gate and landed in a muddy puddle. As this cheap and nasty courier service is the best that M&S can provide, we will never use M&S again.”

“Would have given these dead flowers a 0 if it was possible. These were a thankyou gift to my daughter, the person who bought them does not know about this review. I am a recently retired florist of many years so I know a bit about flowers! I am so angry, these flowers are 2 days old, If they were in my shop I would have binned them - not sold them. Would like to send photos of them but this site will not let me!!!”

“The quality of your online delivery service for flowers is absolutely appalling. They turn up half dead. If you can’t deliver them in water, like professional florists do, I suggest you remove this service I am one of many I see and this isn’t the first time I personally never order through you for this reason but I have told family and friends to never order through m&s too”
