“flowers wilting turning brown and the extra foliage is the same as a common garden plant with very woody stem. they were delivered on Saturday, but looked as though they had been packed for several days. No water or damp packaging at all. Bouquet was lovingly sent to me for Mothering Sunday.”

“Appalling service. Flowers limp, half dead and heads had fallen off. Incredibly disappointing. Rang to complain. Person I spoke to actually said 'I can't discuss this with you as you didn't make the order hey'. I had to demand to speak to a manager. Do they really think that a refund is an acceptable way to compensate for this? Interestingly the customer complaints team is outsourced by M&S (I asked the person I spoke to) so are M&S even aware.of this shocking service? Issue not resolved as the have to speak to the person who placed the order.”

“Ordered two lots of Mother's Day flowers, both were unsatisfactory. One was a basket arrangement and some of the plants need replanting. We ordered this as we thought it would be low maintenance for our disabled mum. The other arrangement arrived with a broken vase and dead flowers. We paid nearly £100 for this very disappointing substandard order. Quite disgusting, if you can't deliver a service well, then don't bother.”

“Just received flowers, didn't even bother to knock, left them in the bin cupboard and didn't leave a note to say they were there. Flowers are wilted and half dead. I have never in my life received such a sad bunch of flowers. I'm actually disgusted. My daughter will be horrified when she sees them as she bought them for mother's day. Steer clear of this, awful service and dead flowers, keep your money.”

“Terrible service! Ordered flowers on 12th March to be delivered on my nominated date, 18th, the day before Mother’s Day. Didn’t arrive, then received an email late on 18th to say my order had been cancelled due to problems with their delivery partner and I would be refunded. By then it was too late to arrange another gift for my step mum, who lives an hour and a half’s drive away. Received another email today to say the flowers will be delivered tomorrow. What good is that? Mother’s Day is today, not tomorrow. I am still expecting a refund. Never again M&S flower delivery. I don’t trust you and you’ve caused a great deal of disappointment. Expected much better.”

“My wife received flowers for Mother’s Day, no water, blooms wilting and of lower than expected quality. This is the third time it’s happened, and don’t want to tell sender (Son), so they feel disappointed, so have to pretend they’re ok. 2.2 Overall score, M&S you should be ashamed!! Also, adding photos box doesn’t work.”

“Just received flowers for Mother’s Day. They look half dead and brown. Hoping they will recover but not very hopeful. Not in water , leaning against the side of the box so damaged. There is no card to say who has sent them. I have 3 daughters and it could be from any of them. Which on do I thank?”

“Just received flowers for mother’s day and I am bitterly disappointed in them. Not only were they not in water but the flowers were turning brown and the bouquet was mainly foliage. This is the second time I have complained about M&S flowers obviously you are not listening.”

“The flowers were received half dead. Flowers were squashed, and bore no resemblance of the flowers described on the web-site. Will never be ordering from M&S again. Such poor quality.”

“I needed to just reschedule a delivery and they refused. I then offered to pay and have nothing delivered and they also refused this. They claim their systems are inflexible and wont let them make changes. I dont belive that. Expected better from M&S. Will never use again.”

“My son sent me the Mother’s Day Rose and. Hyacinth bouquet. Unfortunately the Rose are limp and half dead and the flowers are NOTHING like the picture. I feel so upset for him as he lives abroad. Appalling...the reviews for these flowers says it all. Please do better M and S.”

“My daughter ordered flowers for me as a special thank you for looking after her. She ordered them on 5th March, they were despatched on 13th march arrived on my door on 14th march in a very poor state !!! They were in a large glass vase there was no water in the stems were bone dry. Marks and Spencer you need to address this issue, this is not the first time this has happened to me, as a receiver and a sender. Your reputation is going downhill. Yes they gave my daughter a refund but that is no help after the event has been spoiled. We will not be patronising Marks' flowers again. I will be sure to tell family and friends as well. The outcome of having spoiled flowers delivered to your door is very sad and upsetting.”

“What appalling flower delivery service. Ordered a delivery for 8th.Mar. for friends birthday. Delivered today (14th Mar.), in appalling condition . Had to be put straight in rubbish bin on arrival. Used to be excellent service, not any more. Will never order from them again.”

“I received a flat box through the post. The flowers were appalling one carnation and one tulip and some dire looking foliage. Very limp but made a little recovery once in water but still not enough. The spelling on the card was absolutely horrendous and I can't even put into words how upsetting this was as they were sent to mark the 1st anniversary of my husband's untimely passing Last year. Please can someone take the care and check before sending as it caused so much distress to me and my family, and to the person who so kindly sent them and was so caring in sending them. I would certainly never recommend this service to anyone. I'm so sorry for having to complain but it's hard enough to cope without this.”

“I ordered flowers for my sister as a thankyou for everything that she does for our mum who suffers with dementia. The first bunch that arrived were practically dead. I called M&S straight away and they arranged another bunch to be sent out the next day. They arrived today and were no better. I'm mortified that the flowers I'm sending to cheer my sister up are awful. I would not recommend getting flowers through M&S at all. I have received a full refund and a E-gift card but this doesn't make me feel any better about the flowers that have been delivered.”

“Got flowers from a friend they had no oasis or anything giving them water so by the time they sat overnight in a box with the courier they started to droop some were broken and dead before they even came out the box i would never buy flowers out here and will tell others not to either you can get a better bunch out asda!!”
