They are rude and thier under writers are bunch of idiots who alway make excuse to provide you cover. They gambled me around 3 weeks for proof of adress and then deny to provide the cover even though i provided them 5 documents as a proof of address.i just dont recomend these idiots..... Be aware”

The most ridiculous and cheating insurance company I've ever come across. Staff are rude and have no knowledge about products. It took me ages to sort out a Vandalism claim which they recorded as my fault that affected my no claim discount. They increased my renewal rate three time. The claim department wasn't even helpful”
“Renewal more expensive. Quoted 460 = 46 pm then they took from my bank 58 = 580 pa. £120 difference for same policy, no changes or claims. No paperwork sent detailing the extra either. Very sneaky. Don't bother....”
“Octagon are awful! I had a no fault crash in Feb. The car was never fixed properly and the company that did "fix" it also gave it an illegal MOT as it passed with the engine management light on???? Awful awful company don't go there”
“I'm rating Octagon 3/5 as I have just cancelled my policy. I renewed on Compare the Meerkats and they raised my premium £49 for not having simply accepted their renewal offer. I wanted to keep my 2 for 1 movies! I have not had a great experience with Octagon's communication when making a claim and wanted to switch anyway but continued with them as best value quote. I did not receive any communbication about the increased premium, I called them to confirm they had received my NCD proof. First call on Tuesday this week, no problem they told me, all is in hand then today, now that my previous policy has expired, I need to pay extra! Now I have had to pay £20 to cancel and wait 7-10 days for my refund. Pick another company!”
“i have had a very bad experience with this company and i do not recommend it to anyone. they scammed me and regardless of giving my no claim bonus, they cancelled my policy just to get a cancellation fee.
they do not answer the phone and they have kept me waiting for a long period of time.

“I have been an existing Customer of Octagon for 12 months and advised them i would like to renew. They requested further documents for Proof of adress even though i already had a policy with them? You are forever on hold if you ever need to speak to them. Poor Customer service and try to rip you off and charge you more on quotes. I have since gone on line and gone with another company. Shocking service, no notes are made when you call in, different prices quoted every time you call in and generally slow and inefficient. Expect to be pn hold for a LONg time if you need to call them.”
