I think six days waiting to have a rear window screen to be fitted is a bit of a joke , I’ve only got a ford not something form mars . But they asked for the excess money in about 10 minutes .

Dealing with there broker Premium credit , is terrible . Instant default payment charges without no warning , so payment due and double again for charges , called Rac they want nothing to do with this so have talk to broker which they use and again not interested just pay . Trying to get through takes forever , cost your time your money . Would never use Rac again for anything , no customer care or consideration taking in too account .

A real rip off , they renew without your knowledge and then hit you with extra charges.It’s all hidden in the terms and conditions.Terrible customer treatment after spending close to over £800 over two years NEVER AGAIN Enda Lavelle

It’s a shame there’s not a minus 5 rating Despite my car insurance company paying you out 1 WEEK PRIOR, you tried to summons me to court and pay the same amount in full (approx $8000) Unprofessional and extremely corrupt I’ve always used RAC for breakdown PERHAPS YOU SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON THIS OPERATION ONLY

Had such a bad experience with this company , would not recommend to anyone . Insured one day , cancelled our insurance the next day , told us it was a computer blip and re instated the insurance to have had it cancelled again ! Customer service tell you one thing and do another . Don’t if we are actually insured or not . Shocking service, avoid !!

Honestly had such a horrible experience with their service. When asking questions about what the insurance covers this employee was blatantly rude and failed to even attempt to understand my questions. And honestly you can tell how ignorant he was. He even tried to say don’t get smart, like love how are you unwilling to do ur job and provide information and when u do it’s belittling and patronising. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. When I proceeded to ask him for his name he again was very rude and dismissive. His van number was DV67 UPC as it was the only information I could get. Again disgustingly horrendous service and needs to be checked it’s acc atrocious I can’t even get my mind around how absolutely dismissive and small he was. Good luck tryna act like a big man my guy, you’re a very small individual and that’s on facts no patronising here. And this is not conducive to the whole company, just some real bottom tier ones. 07/02/22

Totaly confusing when you have to make a claim. They get contractors to do everything. Not really an insurance company, more like agents. Dissapointed.

After we have complained, RAC has refunded further £433.98 to us, other than the previous £191.62, that makes the total become £625.60, so they have only charged £22.51 for 16 days of cover. And the payment was prompt. Xinquan Ou/Freda Ou

We would like to commend David Cosby, patrol 4361, ,Breakdown no.E12PF446 for his kindness and good humour and super efficiency when we broke down at home. He took us to the nearest Garage and returned us safely home on January 25, 2022 awaiting repairs from the local garage.. Thank you again, David.

RAC deserves minor star. We took up an insurance policy with them on the 14th of January 2022. Despite we have got 5 year unprotected no claim discount, they enforced extra document check on us. We cancelled the policy on the 30th, effective on 1st of February. I have received their refund of £191.62 today out of the £648.11 I have paid for one year’s premium. £456.49 has been deducted for 16 days of cover, what a COMPLETE RIP-OFF!! I have decided to submit my official complaints to the Financial Conduct Authority and the Ombudsman for justice. This company has been blacklisted by me from now on. Xinquan Ou/Freda Ou

Am paying £124 month insurance car not on road that much only 2 days week yet RAC say nothing there can do if l not pay will have chargers on top my bill shocking phone them 4 times but company not care

Accident 16th january - other drivers liability - substandard hire car provided and my car not picked up for repair 2 weeks and 5 phone calls later - really shocking service.......................

We were advised by the RAC insurance staff in the customer service that an accident was found to have incurred by us on the 4th of July 2017, she told us that accident should be recorded on our present record. We told her that accident had happened due to a car crashed on my rear bumper and caused my car moved to crash on the rear bumper of the car in front of us. We strongly denied liability of the above accident and we have got a written letter from our previous insurer that we have got 5 year unprotected no claim discount. We also write to show our anger about RAC is asking for extraordinary and extra document proof including: -DVLA code check -4 pages V5 registration document - utility bill showing our address other than asking for proof of the 5 year no claim discount and copy of our driving licenses. We have paid our premium in one go already, so what is the purpose of this check? We have lived in this country for 21 years and have never experienced similar incident like this. I consider this is unacceptable and unreasonable. I have provided the letter issued by Direct Line as proof of my five year no claim discount. I will be moving to another insurer as from the 1st of February, 2022. Because of the unfair treatment I have experienced, I have decided to post this review to the public to record my unpleasant experience with RAC Insurance. With them 5 years got bought a private plate as a present phoned them up to put it on charged £22 fair enough then checked my policy wrong reg inputed so phoned back u to correct was then told I would have to take out a fresh 12 month policy to correct this… sorry no this is not my mistake cancelled policy immediately. They are crooks avoid avoid avoid !

Disgusting service from RAC took money fitted black box and direct debit and then cancelled policy due to error. Customer explained genuine error and still refused to refund and charge 125 cancellation fee and daughter is now black listed for further policy at 18 and done absolutely nothing wrong. This Compayb is a disgrace do not insure with them awful the way we gave been treat and on her records for 5 years and they won't remove. Thanks RAC for nothing if she had killed someone I get it but a genuine error on a form and blacklisted for 5 years.

If I could give minus stars I would. I have been pay for 2 telematic devices in 2 vehicles for 6 years, the first time one of the vehicles was stolen they were deactivated within 1 minute. To try and deactivate them is more than painful, 3 phone calls , information that is way more than when they were fitted and I have to pay for the privilege. Do not waste your money with RAC.

I sold my car and went to claim the remainder of my insurance back (which I always pay in full). I was told that the remaining balance was a "cancellation fee" and there was NOTHING due back. What a complete bunch of THIEVES

Your ok taking the money off people for the breakdown but fail to turn up when needed, speaking to customer service what a joke, I cancelled the policy due to them not turning up and the cheeky effers turn round and say we'll we havnt charged you for cancelling, wtf, absolute joke, never again would I use this company, and I wouldn't recommend anyone going with them, total waste of space

If I could give zero stars I would. I took out insurance with rac and I wish I hadn't bothered and gone elsewhere. I forgot to mention a no fault claim from 2018 and because of this they charged me with a £35 admin fee, even though the no fault claim didn't affect my premium. I feel that I have been robbed, I would never recomend this company to anyone, as soon as my policy comes to an end I'll be canceling the policy and looking for a company with more Integrity.
