I raised Section 75 with Sainsbury's which they accepted then raised chargeback instead. They have my refund for flights but won't pay me unless I sign to say I have received it through S75 which is not correct. It's a chargeback. Tell me all sorts of nonsense. Communications awful. They've also messed up my credit card report, trying to say there was fraud on my existing card and forcing a new card on me. All this on-going since mid- March. Very upset, as by law I should have this money. We are elderly and this is making us ill. Terrible service.

Taking far too long to refund me under section 75 for cancelled flights by flight company due to Covid -19. My sons Visa debit card for a cancelled flight with another bank refunded him within 2 weeks. Why is it taking so long when everyone in the country knows flights have been cancelled for months. I sent all the proof requested

Absolutely dreadful customer service, been waiting now over 3 months for a refund on a fraudulent transaction,, have had to contact the ombudsman.

The bank changed my direct debit payment for my credit card from minimum amount to whole amount and didn't inform me. On the website still figures minimum amount. I call them and they refused to reimburse the difference. The website is not helpful and has terrible delay.

Declined my section 75 for a holiday I booked but couldn't take due a global pandemic. Apparently I didn't provide enough evidence!!! (Hello, GLOBAL PANDEMIC) Disgusting company. The letter was full of spelling mistakes and said they don't decide 'based on customer opinion' I provided evidence and it's not my opinion! Its fact.

My husband has a loan with Sainsbury's. We are experiencing financial problems due to a terrible 2 years and there was no compassion or support. We wrote to them on several occasions and tried to ring but calls get cut off. We are now in default and they have requested that we pay over £15,000 by June 10th!!! with the threat of a collection agency and court action. Thanks Sainsbury's for the added stress to a customer with serious health problems

Dreadful company - had a credit card called to set up direct debit they didn’t action it fell into a late payment made me set up an agreement to pay £200 per month and out defaults on my credit account. Complained and told get in with it so went to ombudsman who found in my favour, told to remove defaults Sainsbury’s are not - my credit score is falling every month! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, customer service or complaints team are shocking, now taking legal action maybe they will respond to a solicitor?!

Just taken out a Sainsbury’s credit card a couple of months ago, got an email regarding covid 19. I received an email on 9 may to tell me that I need to make a payment by 2nd June, today my neighbour gave me a letter that had been delivered to him by mistake my number is 32 his is 23. The letter Advised me that I had missed a payment and my promotion had been withdrawn and notifying me that I had incurred a £12 charge and interest on my balance, no notification that my first payment was due. Going to call tomorrow as they don’t work weekends I will be going to the ombudsman if they don’t sort this out then... avoid

The credit card website is atrocious!! Have tried 6 times today to pay my account and each time it has refused my username! Ask for a reset ...and nothing!! Awful!!

Took out a car insurance policy online as it said I would receive 6000 reward points for doing it online myself. This was 6 months ago now and every 2 weeks I’ve been calling customer support with the promise of getting these points STILL HAVENT GOT THEM.!!!!!!!! What a scam I should have stayed with Direct Line. SHAME ON YOU SAINSBURY

We took out annual global travel insurance In February then cancelled it the next day. It has however so far taken 2 months to process the refund. It's been 5 phone calls, 3 emails, 3 tweets and each time they apologise, say they made a mistake and they'll process it. I'm now having to take them to a Small Claims Court. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

horrible bank not recommended to anyone. called to bank in the beginning of pandemic and ask to pause my payments, person on a phone said yes no problems, month later recieved letter with late payment fee, called to the bank that were super happy to pause my payment for 3 months with additional payment of 240£ to my acc ! brilliant !!! RATS... whole world try to help each other this scumbags just shaving money of you !!! Thanks A LOT

Avoid Sainsbury's bank at all costs. The Credit card website is not fit for the purpose. There is a fault on the system where every time they send me a message I have to change my password, it would not be so bad if the message was of any substance - just a generic message about Covid 19 which has nothing to do with my complaint. When i complained about that I was told there was a fault with one of the words on my message but no highlight. They make it impossible to communicate with them.

Scam company was offered 17 months interest free on purchases but i have been charged interest and fees for manually making a payment contacted them regarding it they haven't done anything about it

I took out a loan back in 2016. All ok until this covid thing - I simply can not speak to anyone - they keep sending threatening letters, When I phone the number they give 0800 08506953 the automated system does not recognise the account number and the system says they can not take the call right now - I have been trying to get through since 26th March - it is now 14th April. I am now trying 0808 1450379 - found online via the website - it's now saying I'm on hold - but is keeps saying it's Halifax. Sainsburys - stick to selling food. My advice is avoid totally.

I raised a section 75 in October 2019. I'm still waiting on a decision. I've telephone several times only to be told it's with head office - no update. I rang today to raise a different section 75 only to be told I can't because of covid 19. I need to allow the company concerned to process the refund. But under the EU law they only have 7 days & it's over a million nth ago. I am not happy with the service from the credit card division as they are saying I've not done what I was asked as in providing more information in October last year which is completely untrue. I've been advised to ring back tomorrow. It took my 5 attempts over 3 days & 30 mins of holding on each time not to been provided with an update on the case. The contact telephone number detailed in their acknowlgement letter back in Oct 2019 advised the department is open 7 days a week.

They’ve got my address wrong but despite changing it I. Writing and over the pine on over 7 phone calls - it’s still wrong. Then they mismanaged a payment so it affected my credit rating and despite several phone calls of them assuring they’d put a note on my credit file, they didn’t. I was in the process of buying a house at the time...

Took out a credit card with Sainsbury’s 2 years ago. Bought a car and was taking advantage of the 0% switch. They were very disorganised, told me I would receive a charge incorrectly and that I would have to call them to remove it (the first warning sign). I had some queries along the way, and half the time they didn’t answer my question probably. Got the distinct impression they wanted up to trip up and miss payments and incur charges. I moved house 9 months ago, and because I could remember my password, in their eyes I had failed their security test forever - they refused to update my address, so all my statements have been going to my old address. In the end I just went online and paid the balance off; I couldn’t take anymore. Even their payment phone line wasn’t working. Total nightmare. Choose a better credit card provider who know what they are doing - that’s my free advice. Good luck.
