This service sucks ONLY good thing is its a FREE service The data the calls the towel is trash And worse of all when you try to leave they service it's hell I spoken to a supervisor he released my number made notes he released the number waited almost 5hours at store where I was transferring my number to just for gen mobile to said at first I have to wait 24 hours then turn and say I had to wait 48hours making me miss work because my phone is the way I clock in and out for work they turned my original phone off because they took my number now I'm out of a phone and missing work because of them EVEN THO THINGS SEEMS GOOD BECAUSE ITS FREE ITS REALLY THE WORST I wouldn't be surprised if they don't post my review because the truth hurts they don't want the truth to be told

If you need help with a port, please email genmobilecare@dish.com. Include your name as it appears on the account and phone number or account number. Generally, you need to provide the new carrier your personal information and account information to transfer a number. If you have had an issue, we can help look into it and help get it transferred.

I AM ALWAYS WITH OUT SERVICE EVEN IN A EMERGENCY NO SERVICE NETWORK BUSY I JUST SWITCHED FROM ACCESS WIRELESS SILLY ME WHAT A FOOL. I paid for unilimited and now they said no after they told me was unlimited they are lying about it’s not unlimited they want the money and after they gave me 2 days full internet and now not service at all and they charged me $39.00 A month

Jannette, Gen Mobile's unlimited data plans start at $50. Plans have 35GB of 5G/4G data per billing cycle and reduced speeds thereafter. I got 2 supposed free apc/ phones from gen mobile paid 50 bucks for the first one 40 bucks for the second one had service fine for 4 months then I was told I could get another phone and paid 40 for the second. The people were in front of dollar general and pocketed the money representing gen mobile now 3 weeks after paying 40 bucks the service was curt off and gen mobile had no answers or idea that people are buying phones from these people and they are getting people's social security numbers and income information. This is horrible and when I called gen mobile over and over they just said my service had been cutting off and had no reason. Absolutely horrible company ,customer service idiots ripping people off

Gen Mobile provides free phone service through the Lifeline program and previously provided free service through the Affordable Connectivity Program(ACP). Phones are not provided for free through the Lifeline or ACP program, as a courtesy some customers receive free phones or can pay for a phone. To qualify for free service through Lifeline or ACP personal information is collected to verify eligibility. Lifeline and ACP have rules for maintaining eligibility. If the service was disconnected, there was likely and issue with the benefit status. We can provide you the information on your account if you are able to verify you are the account holder. They is the worst company out they need to be Sue and shut down. I sent them a broken phone and they sent the phone back to me now wants this phone go all the way out I won't have no phone to use cuz I refuse to pay to send it again and they send it back to me again broke that was crazy and unprofessional I do not trust this company thanks for letting me see who you really are I would never do business with y'all again once this phone go all the way out I would throw it in the garbage I will never contact y'all again and I told this information to the supervisor and they just as worse as the workers there. And they gave me the phone broke .

Genmobile is a SCAM! First off this phone which is a galaxy A03s is supposed to be free but the representative that walked door to door in low incomes housing places make you pay them $20 for the phone. I wish I'd known this before purchasing it. then they close your account and you're no longer able to make phone calls or text but you can receive text. then there's the period where all of the sudden the phone service is able to work for a short amount of time then it turns off again. at their sole discretion. anyway then there's another issue....when I tried making phone calls to other companies or family it will go straight to genmobile customer service even though I didn't dial the genmobile customer service line it still redirects me to their scamming company. it could be any number in the world and it still will redirect me to the same customer service line. This comapny is based in India....let that sink in.

Gen Mobile offers free service to eligible consumers through the Lifeline program. The Lifeline program pays for a discount on phone service, but does not include free phones. Customers have the option to purchase a phone and in some cases can receive a free phone from Gen Mobile as a courtesy. If your service was interrupted, give our customer care team a call to check the status of your account. We are available everyday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm pst. Gen Mobile's headquarters is in El Segundo, CA and we do not have a call center in India.

Been complaining about the same issue for 90 days still not fixed nor sympathy what so ever. Issue 2. Just paid my phone bill they took my money and still turned my phone off

They are a very bad company. I called them to cancel my phone line because my phone was stolen. They told me that the line would be canceled within 24 hours. 36 hours later and the phone is not canceled. Someone is using the phone that is in my name with my personal information and the phone line still is not canceled

This company states they provide free internet service. I do not have internet on my phone. I paid the activation fee and I qualified. Spoke to a supervisor and she wasn't very helpful. Someone needs to report them fir false advertising l.

They took my information, told me it was inaccurate, then their sales rep sold it on the street. The bottom line is, they're stealing YOUR benefits. Do your business with them online.

THEY ARE SCAM I PAID MY BILL OF $20 AND HAVENT RECEIVED MY DATA AND I CONTACTED A CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THEY ARGUED WITH ME AND SAYING I HAVE USED MY DATA AND I DIDNT AND IVE BEEN WITH SERVICE FOR A WEEK THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND A INCONVENIENCE. Gen mobile is a fraud there workers tell u a bunch of lies to get ur money I was told 3 times I could get a phone replacement for the damage of my phone. I was also told they would send an upgraded phone every 6 mths. That hasn't happened either I'm really disappointed with gen mobile. Never ever again.

We do not replace devices that are lost, stolen, or damaged. Customers are able to purchase upgrades at any time, but we do not send upgrades every 6 months. Give our customer care team a call at 833-528-1380 if you would like to go over replacement options.

My boyfriend brought a phone and did pay the 40 dollars to have it activated and he only had it for a few months.He does get free minutes from the government.The phone was great for awhile but now he can get phone calls in but can't call out.If he can't call out he will lose the funding.The service number that was provided doesn't answer.
