“Would not recommend booking through getaflight. I bought flights from Dublin to Vancouver with a connection in Toronto. As I am moving to Canada, for at least 7 months but with an unknown return date i upgraded to their flex package which clearly states that the only fee I would pay for a change in flight time, date etc would be the change in airfare. I enquire about this as I was concerned I would miss my connection stuck in immigration and was promptly told it would cost me £350 to change my connecting flight, including a £50 administration fee and change fee. This goes completely against what they advertised as a flex ticket and the change would cause me more than buying a brand new ticket! Not only this but the customer service was condescending throughout their explanation which changed multiple times btw. I also felt pressured into accepting this expensive flight change as they tell me the price will go up within a day and that i shouldn’t bother calling up in October trying to change it as the price will be £500/600 to change. Would not recommend unless you want to waste your money.”
