Absolutely unprofessional customer service I order a mug for Christmas presents unfortunately they cut the heads looks absolutely horrible so goes to rubbish I requested a new one was denied or refund again denied never again company like that should not be allowed to be open . Plus all communications are via email no contact number

I ordered a mug I used predictive txt and I spelt the name wrong !! 2 N’s instead of on .. I immediately sent a email to the company.. 8 mins after I ordered and paid .. next day they got back to me saying it’s to late there is a 30 min time slot to change anything that is wrong .. I explained I did .. but they just give me excuses !! No mention about resolving the issue … which I couldn’t use with the wrong spelling on .. I am really disappointed with this company and would never use them again

When I finally was able to make contact all I got was a robot response I asked for a full refund which they have refused to do even though my order has still not been dispatched. Do not use this company Disgusting customer service stick to the small business that actually care about their customers.

Disgusting service- do not use this company! We have waited over a month for an express delivery item and yet to be delivered. No telephone number and only auto generated email communication. Disgusting service- DO NOT USE

Please do not buy from this company. There is nobody that you can speak to and it is impossible to change or cancel orders. The phone lines are closed and it is so difficult to find the correct email to contact anyone. I wanted to cancel an order they did not answer my email for over 5 hours and then surprise surprise I got an email to say it had been dispatched. When I asked for the tracking number they could not supply it? I believe that they made the order after they knew I had asked for it to be cancelled. Please please do not purchase anything from this company. Look at the reviews on Trust Pilot so many people have had my experience.

My feedback is purely based on my poor customer experience from this company. I placed an order for a special occasion gift which was being sent to the recipient. Upon checkout there was 3 different delivery options with different dates for delivery. I paid the extra delivery charge to have it delivered on time for my friend. I soon realised the day before it was ‘due to be delivered’ that Getting Personal had yet to dispatch it so this is when my concern began. I contacted their customer service on many platforms email & online live chat to raise my concerns. They were so vague with their replies and kept reiterating that it would be dispatched on the day that I had been informed on their website that it should of actually been delivered on. The poor customer service experience left me very frustrated as they were constantly ignoring my concern. In the end I requested that they cancel my order straight away as it had not been dispatched. They refused to cancel the order , although I had a legal right to cancel in line with distance selling regulations and the fact that it hadn’t even been dispatched. They were so unhelpful and kept repeating that it would be dispatched and delivered but not at all acknowledging that the delivery would be late. I explained that the recipient would not be home due to going on holiday but they basically ignored me. I also asked for their CEO contact details and telephone number this request was also ignored and I was informed that their telephone lines are currently not in use. Once the order was dispatched I managed to contact Royal Mail myself to have the delivery delayed until the recipient would be home. Why could Getting Personal not of advised me of this? They did not want to help, that’s why! The fact for my 1* review which should really be 0* is down to their unhelpful and unapologetic customer service. I understand delays can occur but there was no offer of help. I also requested that my P&P charge be reimbursed and surprise surprise they ignored that request. To any potential future customers please take into consideration their ‘dispatch within 24 hours’ items are not true and if you have to deal with their customer service don’t expect much help, it was genuinely like I was speaking to a robot.

Dreadful company, bordering on misleading. I notified them of a spelling error on a gift, within half an hour of ordering, they said would get back to me which they did not, then when contacted them again said was too late to amend order. Do not use this company.

Fast delivery and good service but really disappointed about the lack of protecting packaging to keep the vase from being damaged. When I received item it was loose and rattling around and was not expecting to see a loose vase.

Getting personal got my order wrong due to a technical issue with their website but said that they are not liable and suggested I purchased the item again. I’ve spoken to numerous staff via email and the majority were rude, lacked empathy and they really didn’t care. The businesses approach is very obnoxious in that they don’t seem to care about after care and it’s all about a quick transaction, getting your money and then moving on to the next customer. The quality of the product was also quite cheap- you’d definitely get a better quality product and most definitely a better service by shopping elsewhere.

The worst customer service I have encountered. Refused to give me a refund after they sent out a duplicate order. Told me I wouldn't be charged but was twice! When questioning about my refund on the Live Chat 'Jess' stopped my account so I could no longer access it and cut the chat conversation. Not one helpful person in this company can tell me if they are refunding me therefore they are being taken to the ombudsman and CMA for fraud, negligence and unprofessional service!

Terrible customer service. Tried cancelling an order straight away as stated in terms of conditions that you are allowed to cancel an order within 30 minutes. Page brings you to a form that you fill, which sends an email. They answered several hours later saying they were unable to cancel order as the order had already been processed. Unable to cancel the order and they went along

Ordered a valentines card and a gift on February 9th, I received the gift on 15th February.........better late than never! The card still hasn’t arrived, they obviously blame everyone else and to this date 17th February are refusing to reimburse me. If you have an important date you need a gift or card by......... go to a company who will fulfil there promises.

I ordered an item on 16th January. It has still not arrived despite 5 emails. They either want me to confirm my address and order number. How many times do I have to do this. Their last response I felt was really derogatory. They suggested that maybe I was getting mixed up with a previous order. Following my review on another website they have again requested my order number. The item was a gift to myself to cheer me up in these difficult times. All it has done is cause me more stress. I know it probably not the right thing to do but i have told them to forget it and I will put it down to experience. I can't take any more the stress this is giving me. It's not worth it!!

JENNY ANDREW 5 reviews 1 star: Bad Updated a day ago Do not order from this company. This would be zero stars if the option had allowed. I ordered a large,framed heart-shaped arrangement of photographs for Valentines Day. When it arrived, several photos had no heads on or half a head. I had received no link which enabled me to edit before production, even though they said they had. Why would I have agreed to this, had I been sent the template first? Getting Personal said everything is automated and no-one checks what they produce - so no quality control. I wasted a few days trying to message them for a refund. As I couldn’t contact Getting Personal by phone, I asked for a manager to ring me and gave them my number. No phone call but messaged vis their own link yet again,and was told repeatedly it was not their fault. Different people from Customer Service replied and didn’t read the history properly of my messages. The photos I sent in had heads on, but when I asked for a copy of the original order, they didn’t have it. I was sent a pdf of the final result and told this is what I ordered. What a waste of time. I had this same result in the frame that I was complaining about. No full refund was accepted as requested,but finally, I was offered a 50% discount and free postage if I paid to reorder. Absolutely disgraceful. Consumer Rights clearly states that anything purchased must be fit for purpose. They were not interested. Don’t risk putting yourself through this stress and upset. Order from a reputable company who will check that you will receive a quality result. I will take this further with PayPal and with Consumer Rights, but meanwhile I have no gift for my partner for Valentines Day

Shocking service ordered for a Christmas present and didn't come till January no customer service answering till they came back January item was tiny and very worth the money felt robbed would never use again should change there name from getting personal to getting robbed and mugged over

I ordered an item on the 13th to be delivered on the 22nd. There were no email stating details of where my item was after ‘Getting Personal’ had dispatched it. I simply just wanted to know where it was and what time this item would be delivered. I got No help after i spoke to a woman called Laura, in arranging or chasing for my item to be delivered sooner. Excuses and lack of responsibility was given because they had handed my purchase over to another company. (Behaviour of wiping their hands off it). With the knowledge of me having not received my item from the delivery company, they neither chased and got explanation as to why. I was not given any information or tracking details for me to get in contact with the delivery company to find out a delivery time. I was just told it’s the deliveries company’s policy and I have to wait until 10pm for an item I ordered 9 days ago. I was also told I had to wait 10 working days for ‘Getting Personal’ to do something about my item and for an refund to be approved. Otherwise I would have to send the item back to get a refund. I was made to feel it was my issue that although I ordered three items from ‘Getting Personal’, ‘Getting personal’ was ordering the items from two different suppliers. So they are a suck it up and deal with it company, instead of a company that cares that a customer hasn’t received their item. They are happy to have their customer frustrated and disappointed. Their lack of care and acknowledgment of customer service is despicable. I live chatted to a person I believe to be a manager but he never stated. Unprofessionalism is common in this company.

I am so angry with this company. I placed an order mid November for a Christmas present. I got an email end of November saying it had been dispatched and should be with me in 2-3 days. It never appeared. I emailed them and was told wait 10 working days. I waited and emailed them again, there was a problem at the manufacturers and it hadn't been sent and it would be sent start of this week (w/c 14/12/20). I didn't get a dispatched email so emailed them again. Get told it would be sent the end of the week. So I sent a ranting email as getting a bit close to Christmas and frankly the story keeps changing so what is the truth! Get an email back saying item is out of stock and it will be back in two weeks, but understand I'm frustrated so here's 10% of next order! NEXT ORDER! Seriously!!!! I haven't been told the truth yet and clearly I'm never going to see this item, certainly not before Christmas and now I'm probably going to have to chase them for the refund. Yes I ranted more at them but their emails are so infuriating. So if anyone is daft enough to use this company - here's the 10% code, but don't be surprised if your item never arrives! CSTEN2018 Absolutely the worse service I've ever had. If the item was out of stock why was I allowed to order it - and why not just say that in the beginning so I had time to go elsewhere and actually get the christmas present I needed to get?! Now I'm paying twice for this present (as presuming the refund will take forever as clearly this company doesn't believe in customer service) in a year where money is tight. Nice one Getting Personal, and stop sending me your junk emails as hell will freeze over before I use you again after this!

Ordered tipsy tree advent calendar with wine for missus. Order was shipped the same day, but arrived a day later than predicted. Wine bottles were put in simple cardboard box and one bottle was smashed. Contacted support same day, provided photos and got 25% of order as refund. Overall happy with order, but packaging of fragile items begs to be improved.

I ordered a card on 5 November for a very special birthday on 12 November. Despatch is supposed to be next working day first class however it had still not arrived on 10 November so I contacted Getting Personal who said they would ensure it was send immediately by courier but instead I received an email on 11 to say they had only just despatched it and now it's the 12 November and the card hasn't arrived. I have complained but received a totally unapologetic reply so needless to say I will not be using them again even though I was going to order several calendars one thing I will not do is give money to companies who have such poor customer service.
