They are not in synch with the tour provider and have wrong info. We paid over €300 for a boat tour and because getyourguide had wrong departure info we missed the boat. Skip them and go directly to tour operators

Horrific experience with Get Your Guide, GoGoDay travel and C trip, Japan. We booked a Get Your Guide day trip from Osaka on our recent trip to Japan. April 10 2023. Get Your Guide assigned us to their supplier GoGoDay travel who assigned us to a third party called C trip. The day started with wet seats in the bus on a cold day and our tour guide had no briefing for the tour of the day. When asked after almost an hour that what are we doing for the day, can you explain us more on the history of the places we are visiting today - the guide was unable to even pronounce those names correctly. We paid extra for a guided tour in English and turns out 'Peter' our guide was not well versed in either English or Japanese. He was struggling to communicate with us and had no idea about any information on the places we were going to visit. He constantly kept checking with the driver what, when, where types of information. After wasting half of our day, he took us to a train station in Arashiyama where the tickets were sold out for the day. He got another group with him, excluding us, who already had booked tickets in advance for the same. We were not told about it in the morning when we started otherwise we would have booked online or figured out an alternative. Then the driver, the useless guide and rest of their group leaves us at the train station to use our time at our own efforts. We were so done with them after wasting most of the time of our day that we just walked out and managed last few hours on our own. When complained on the whole episode to Get Your Guide, they refunded just a petty amount of the huge chunk of the money we paid for 3 people. It was a huge disappointment to rely on Get Your Guide on a foreign land, it wasted our 1 whole day, we had to manage without a guide, excursions and second half transport with a child. The least we expected from Get Your Guide was a full refund. I will never book any tours from them, neither will suggest anyone to use their services. They are hot reliable. GoGoDay and C trip Japan sucks with foreign travellers other than their own nationals.

This company is absolutely scam! There are just taking the money and never ever answering the phone when you are there for the tour! I paid £196 for 10 people! And they give you vouchers, but they are not a ticket to go in. Absolutely scam! Stealing people’s money. I will investigate. This is scandalous. To plan your holiday, go on the day and begin absolutely disappointed. To have an app!

I purchased the River walk boat ride ahead of time,when it came to the day to.use my pre-paid vouchers, I wad told by staff they were not any good & I needed to purchase new vouchers, and to contact GetYourGuide to receive a refund, which I did do,they replied saying no refunds, long story, At the end of the day I'm out $82. It's a big scam,Definitely would not purchase anything through GetYourGuide!!! Definitely Creeps!!!!!

Do Not use this company we waited for over an hour to be told the trip was cancelled trying to get refund but communication very poor they routinely over book trips then cancel

Family trip planned to Mr.Fuji. Morning of trip (5:30am) I texted company to ensure we would still be traveling, response sent back was ‘Yes, arrive at 7:50am meeting spot’. Okay arrived in DOWN POUR and WIND GUSTS….SOAKING WET. Traveled in an air- conditioned atmosphere for an hour to find out our trip to Mt.Fuji was cancelled. Then other parts of the trip was cancelled because of fog and wind. Those are the kinds of pictures I have from this trip FOG! Why would you, as a company continue a planned trip if you KNOW in advance that it’s not possible to be able to see the main attraction? That’s my biggest beef….I was proactive in my approach with them. GREED, SCAM, Don’t waste your money! I wrote my review directly on the website review section, however, it was never posted. Probably because it was negative. The tickets for a lot of the passengers is expensive. Literally paid $500 for lunch and a visit to the lake!

This company is so unreliable. They will cancel your reservation last minute. Today I was supposed to be picked up by 4:30pm by Tallys Tours in Las Vegas for red rock cayon tour and received an email at 4:34pm saying it’s been cancelled. Send notice in advance so people don’t waste their precious time while traveling! The company needs to come up with the better policies to protect the customers…..

Tickets gekocht voor toegang voor de Kl tower . Bleek dat ze waren voor de inwoners van Maleisië en niet voor toeristen. Dit stond nergens vermeld . Pas na aankoop werd dit vermeld op de tickets . Geprobeerd contact te leggen met de site middels e-mail maar kreeg de mail terug met het antwoord dat deze niet kon worden afgeleverd bij het bedrijf . Dus wees gewaarschuwd

I have been very desapointed, it's a total scam, I have paid 4 tickets for Disneyland 350 euros and they didn't provide my tickets and I am waiting for my refund till now. Could someone help me, please?

Absolutely shocking customer service. We booked a meditate with horses experience through get your guide, we drove 45 minutes to be there and the provider did not show up. I tried to call, facebook message and contact the provider via the chat on their website...nothing, everything was off. I had to chase get your guide for 5 days to get my refund. I asked them very specific questions which they completed avoided, they said it is the providers fault but can give no evidence or actual explanation. I'm pretty convinced the provider didn't even know they had a booking or they've allowed a scammed to set up a profile on their platform. They've offered nothing to compensate my time lost and all the stress the situation caused. I seriously question their vetting procedures and will never ever use get your guide again.

A total SCAM. My party of four booked tickets for the Alhambra Palace in Granada and traveled from the UK to see it. Hen we arrived we were told that our tickets had been cancelled by GetYourGuide. GetYourGuide have not informed us. Apparently the tickets were cancelled the day before because of overbooking by the company. We were not the only people let down the venue told us they had had people arriving all morning just to be told their tickets had been cancelled. further more we have NOT received a refund. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK WITH A RELIABLE COMPANY or direct with the Alhambra.

BEWARE Was booked for a boat trip didn’t find out that the boat wasn’t in the water until 30 minutes into a tour that I did not book I would have never booked this trip it was a joke not only that they double booked me on another trip and I didn’t even get to do what I paid for they tried to explain their way out of it I never got to speak with anyone except a customer service representative that couldn’t help me and refused to give me my money back this company is a scam don’t do it

Arnaque, get your guide ne m’a pas envoyé les tickets, il y avait écrit sur l appli “wait, your tickets will appear here” , finalement lorsque j ai signalé le problème et demandé à obtenir les tickets, ils ont simplement annulé ma réservation. Comme j avais effectué cette réservation un mois a l’avance, je n’ai pas pu retrouver d autre places pour le Vatican. Get your guide vends les billets 80 euro en last minute… contre 30 euros en avance. Ils n ont fait aucun geste commercial et ne m ont pas remplacé les places alors qu’ils en avaient sur le site . Bref à fuir , arnaque et pas de service client . Je n’ai pas pu voir La Chapelle sixtine lors de mon voyage à Rome à cause de ce tour opérateur

If I could give a -5 stars, I WOULD!! They are scammers!! Don’t use their website at any circumstances!! I paid for WelcomeBerlinCard and didn’t receive tickets! They were ‘holding’ my booking, took the money, and canceled it!! At first GYG said that they had given me a refund back. After 2 weeks I am asking now-where is the refund? And they don’t want to pay me that!!! Absolutely bastards!

I booked a $278 one-day tour with GetYourGuide to Victoria and Butchart Gardens on March 29th, expecting a smooth transfer service. However, they changed my pickup location multiple times, forcing me to walk 30 minutes just to get picked up! The driver/guide, supposedly experienced, left me stranded alone on the cruise ship at night during the return trip. Despite being the only passenger left behind, they made no effort to locate me or offer assistance. I was left to fend for myself, feeling utterly abandoned. To add insult to injury, their office was unresponsive when I tried to reach them for help. Thankfully, I managed to find my way back to Vancouver with assistance from cruise authorities, but the lack of concern from GetYourGuide is appalling. Avoid this company at all costs! They show no regard for customer safety or satisfaction.

Tried for days to book a car and driver, spent hours on the app chatting to no avail, still haven't received a response.... though was quoted 4 different prices. Its a NO from me.... go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

This "organisation" is just hopeless. Thanks to them, two of our bookings were cancelled. One of them we weren't even informed of by email. I only found out when checking on our plans the night before the activity. I suggest that they close down and stop wasting their customers time. We don't get to travel from Australia to Europe very often, so we expect better from a " professional" booking agency. Don't waste our time. To everyone reading this, just run away in the opposite direction. This company is bad, bad, bad. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Pre ordered Rome coliseum skip the line tickets 3 months in advance but only got a voucher then said would email tickets but on day of our visit They did send tickets I guess but we could not open them up in email. We called and they were no help at all so bottom line is we paid 130 dollars for nothing, absolutely the Worst experience possible so we never got into coliseum big waste of money and time.
