“Went in to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games shop in the Athletes village where I am working. I spent over £80 on keyrings, Clyde with his kilt on, lapel badges and a towel with Clyde with his kilt on. The two you men who served me could not have been more helpful. The one at the cashout came from Seville in Spain and was delighted I knew he was Spanish. I am hoping to go back tomorrow and buy one or two more things.”

“The web site indicated the item was in stock. Once I placed the order, the confirmation email indicated the item wasn't in stock and the delivery estimated was 10-14 working days (which would be after the Games). Several days later I received an email to say they weren't going to restock the item. I wish I'd just gone straight to John Lewis - who provide a much better service and no delivery costs.”

“Took my great niece to the shop to have her picture taken with Clyde. Thought the picture was a bit expensive but it is a one of. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Hi I have found this site very helpfull and easy to get around up to the minute results .But I have one draw back I tried to purchase ticket when there was tickets still available but when I ticked add to basket there was none available which is quite sad really as I was really looking forward to getting those tickets that is my only gripe”

“I am totally shocked that I have been asked to write a review as I have not yet had the promised confirmation email for either of my purchases. I can understand that your site is probably inundated with visits/orders but I am very disappointed that it was so difficult to place my orders in the first place. I had to try several times to place the first order as the 'Sage Payment' kept coming up as failed. When my payment was finally accepted I tried to place my second order and couldn't even access the shop, when that finally went through accessing the 'Clyde' page was even more difficult, I eventually was able to place the second order but as already intimated I have still not received either confirmation email and on checking my bank account am very concerned that payment has been taken for three not two purchases from my bank account. Please contact me as a matter of urgency so sort this out. I do not hold out any hope of a quick response by email so my phone number is 01664 812738. Eileen Edwards (Mrs)”

“Internet shopping does not fully state the terms of purchase orders and confirmations take ages to come through. Additionally the time check between ordering and confirmation is not performing as a centralised service”

“I never received any confirmation email of my order & then phoned customer services 2 days later to advise this. It was only then that I was informed my order had been received as that my parcel was in fact dispatched earlier that day, the next day I received an email to track my order. I have now received both items & am thoroughly pleased.”
