“Waited and waited and called twice over an almost one and a half hour period. Was told that the van had been there and we missed it, but we were standing there the entire time. A van with the name orange parking on the side with a busted out window covered in plastic pulled up finally. The driver didnt even recognize the name global parking at first, it wasn’t until he looked at my email and scanned the code he kind of snorted. Nowhere in the email did it say pickup would be with a van with orange on the side. I hope I can figure out how to attached to this review the piece of trash left under my back windshield wiper.”
“This service will not refund your money; even if you do not receive the service as stated in the email agreement. The parking I paid for was supposed to have a complimentary shuttle service, to & from airport with 24 hr notice. I scheduled this service on 3/24 for a 3/27 departure. When I arrived at the parking location, the girl at the front desk checked to see if my name was on the shuttle list, which it was. She said the driver had broken his foot a few days prior, & there was no shuttle service. Not only did they fail to contact me prior to my arrival that evening, I had to last minute find another parking option with shuttle service. When I explained this to Global airport parking they told me they could not refund my money because I did not make my reservation 24 hrs ahead of time, which is a boldfaced LIE. So not only did I have to find parking last minute before a flight, I had to go through my credit card company to handle this dispute and receive a refund for services I did not receive.”
“Don't book with them! They will most likely have an issue sending you your reservation email. And if you live in Canada you're going to have to pay another $41 on top of your reservation.
I booked with them thinking I was receiving a deal, no reservation email was sent to me until the day of. When I showed up to the lot I booked at they said I needed a confirmation number, so I rebooked thinking I would get another email with the reservation. Nothing came so I called the company the customer service lady was kind, and sorted out the 2 reservations made under my name. She refunded me one and then said I could go ahead and use the reservation that was booked for 5 AM instead of the one I used booked for 5:30. For some reason the confirmation email wasn't going through, so she sent me a TXT message so I could put my email through, it sent that way. I Got off the phone with her and showed my confirmation email to the customer service rep at the lot, he then told me I could go ahead with the booking but there would be a charge of $41 on top of the $24 I just paid in CAD He told me it would be cheaper to just go with their rate so I did. Which costs me $49.
Okay, whatever, I needed to catch my flight because I was operating it! Fast forward from January 11 to now today, January 14. I called to explain my situation and get a refund, but there is no understanding from this company whatsoever. They did not refund me my money and told me that it says they put in the confirmation email that I would be charged extra, but that's not the point. The point is I did not get to read the email l it was sent to me the same day when I was already at the lot, of course, I did not go through it when I was in crunch time trying to catch the shuttle. There was no empathy from them. Anyway, I saw all this to say be careful before you book!! They already have an option on their customer service phone line for confirmation email troubles!!!”
“I will never, EVER use Global Airport Parking again!!! Used them once & I’m back to The Parking Spot. The Parking Spot NEVER let me down. But I wanted to save around $10 & heard of Global Airport Parking & was mistakenly told a shuttle to the airport, too. Their website showed Holiday Inn Express-Grapevine as a "Favorite" & Holiday Inn states the shuttles ARE available. So, I booked their "Favorite" that stated their shuttles were available. BUT NO SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE IN THE MORINGS!!! The receptionist said they haven’t had a morning shuttle for OVER a month! So, at 5:30am I had to find my own way to the airport! I am 68 years old & have never used Lyft or Uber. Conveniently the receptionist had a card for a service to call for a ride (who is probably making a mint with them not providing a shuttle). I had to call & use them if I wanted to get to the airport for my flight! Cost was $40 + tip. In the end, it cost me over $32 more by going with Global Airport Parking vs The Parking Spot. Along with the ANXIETY of getting a ride at 5:30am to the airport!! Both Holiday Inn & Global Parking stated the service is for “parking only”, not to get me to the airport. That is just complimentary when available. I thought I was paying for parking & a ride to the airport. NOT SO WITH GLOBAL!! They provide PARKING only!”
“I would give Global 0 stars if possible. Thru Global, I paid to park at Holiday Inn Portland Airport. I have done this previously with success. This time, on arrival the lot was totally full. Cars were parked along the red curbs. I talked to hotel staff who said Global oversells their lot and they were sorry but could not help me. I found a great security officer who saved the day. I won't say how so they will not get in trouble but I got a place to leave my car. This saved the day and I made my flight. I will never use Global again.”
“If I could give this company 0 stars I would! I was flying out of a local airport and they offered parking in a hotel that was near the airport so I paid them upfront for a week's parking. On my way out, the hotel parking lot attendants charged me full price because the hotel had no parking arrangement with Global parking! So essentially I was sold a product that did not exist. Global refunded me the money I had paid them upfront, but that was half of what parking at the hotel cost me! Parking at the airport would have been cheaper than the cost of uber+full hotel parking. Please avoid them , they are frauds!”
“I drove 2 hours to Orlando Airport on December 28th and when arrived to global parking facility(around 3am) it was full and they sent me to a nearby lot that was also full and very disorganized. Just one person running the parking and there were dozens of families locking for a parking spot and a huge line of families waiting for a shuttle by the road under the rain. I decided to go and park in the airport so I wouldn't lose my flight and when call for a refund they said no. The stuff was rude and it was a very bad experience. I will not recommend this parking to anyone.”
