“AVOID!!! Waiting 2 weeks for important parcel!!! Constant phone calls and emails sent chasing up!!! Being told blatant lies !!!! Even made a 2 hour drive to depot in Blarney to collect parcel as its urgent ! Told open until 6pm, 6pm the time stated on their website also, arrived at 5.35pm the place was closed !!! Rang the next morning for an explanation, promised out for delivery the following day ' tracker stated Same, I NEVER received!!!! Very stressful and time wasting experience, I've lost out financially as a result”

We thought we had booked through DHL before realising it was GLS in the end. Occasionally DHl will outsource to rogue companies like this.
I was moving 5 boxes with all my possessions to England. We were told they would arrive the next day. Two weeks later they are still telling us they will arrive but in the meantime we have a friend who's brother works with the company (part-time and lots of inside information about how they manage to screen boxes and remove valuable items). Eventually got another reputable company to track down 4 of the boxes - 2 were in the local warehouse so despite having been told that all 5 had reached the UK, they had in fact never left home. And the company told us they lost the other 2 which we eventually found ourselves through friends in a Mayo airport.
They consistently lied to us and when we received the boxes we were missing some of the most expensive items we packed.
When we confronted them over the phone, we were verbally abused and met with absolute denial. How this company has not been shut by the Gardai is beyond belief.”
“You will be waiting in your house the full day waiting for them to ring the bell and then you will realise that they say that you were not there in their webpage...... not even calling the bell/phone.. and if you try to contact the client service, nobody knows anything, phones doesn't exist and you will just keep losing time trying to reach an answer that doesn't exist. “Horrible communication, horrible customer service - I ordered 2 arm chairs from Italy - GLS made one attempt with no notice and
kept me waiting 3 days (for a second delivery attempt) with a delivery time of 8am-6pm. Each of those days they told me late in the afternoon each of those days that the driver was sick (only one driver at GLS?) and then finally lied about making a second delivery attempt. They have now sent my chairs back to Italy! My husband had another bad experience with GLS delivering a vacuum cleaner which never arrived. 100% unprofessional and undependable. A rogue delivery service.”

I called customer service and the said unable to deliver because we need a security code for your communityā¦.: no brainer driver donāt even think to call me to ask the codeā¦. “Got a notification that GLS were delivering between the 26th and the 8th of Feb and I thought I'd check the reviews. Looks like a right sh*t show. However it's the 26th, package arrived just after noon. Sorry guys, I understand your frustrations but I have to give 5 stars. And no I don't work for them, and yes if or when they lose a package I'll be here slating them with you.”

I had the worst customer experience and would not ever again do business with this joke of a logistics company! GLS LOST a parcel with all Christmas presents for my family and loved ones and kept consistently lying that it was outbound on the way to the final destination for over a month. It finally turned out that it had been lost and no satisfactory search was conducted to find it. What is even more devastating is that while this scam lasted we lost family members who are no longer among us to receive their Christmas present. There are things which cannot be compensated with a lost parcel claim..”
“This company is truly inept. Ordered a Dyson vacuum on 12/12/21 as a Christmas gift. Projected arrival 12/21. When didn't come I checked GLS tracking. Tracking indicated the package arrived on 12/15 in my hometown. Tracking indicated that item was scheduled and rescheduled for delivery daily. Called them on 12/24 and they told me it was to go out that day. They called me shortly afterwards to tell me they lost the package. Called Dyson multiple times and today they tell me package was delivered on 12/28. That never happened. Was home all day every day. GLS has phony tracking data. Never delivered the package. Truly an inept 3rd rate carrier. Dyson sucks for using them. GLS sucks for being terrible at what they claim to be in business for.”

After they were bought out by GLS, they TANKED!! Never show up when they are scheduled, loose packages not to mention when you have to talk to someone right away, you stay on hold for ever!! “I have no idea what is going on this world. Customer Service is at an all time low. No one cares and using Covid-19 as an excuse is OLD. I have been calling GLS since 9/10/21. Left my name and number and NO Call back. I have been hold now for 45 minutes and NO ONE HAS PICKED UP! Their website states enter zip code to see delivery time and my son's birthday gift was suppose to be delivered. Since the gift requires 21 over signature my son sat home all day Friday. No alert, email of delay or someone to talk to. I PRAY THIS COMPANY IS PUT OUT OF BUSINESS! Anyone who runs their business in this manner should lose its Privileges. DO NOT SHIP WITH THIS COMPANY.
