This company is an absolute joke. Terrible communication, terrible problem resolution. Canceled the job three times because they didn’t properly communicate with the actual loaders coming for the pickup. Forced me to take a trip across state to be there for the pickup at my rental and then never showed. I had already paid and then paid again and after over a week of wasting my time still hadn’t done anything. Worst experience ever..

I have had two orders, both of which has been cometed. I requested that they be delivered to Salvation Army in Santa Monica, ca. In both cases I requested the items to be delivered and a confirmation that the items were indeed delivered to Salvation Army in Santa Monica. To date that request has been ignored. I have discussed the issue several times with Ashley Riley, you Customer Service Representative without any success. Today after pickup of my table and pads, I saw the pickup truck pull away with the table upside down on a pile of junk. So is your company a FRAUD AND YOU DID NOT DELIVER MY ITEMS TO THE SALVATION ARMY?

We had a pretty crappy experience from start to finish with loadup. We hired them to put together some furniture - three bed frames, 6 nightstands and two couches, for our new home. Two gentleman arrived and took about three hours to put together the first couch, so we knew this was going to be a long process. They completely messed up the couches (parts were on backwards, the filling for whatever reason they removed and replaced creating a super bumpy finish, etc). 9 hours later, they still hadn’t finished two of the bed frames along with two of the night stands so we sent them home as it was getting really late, and we have three children. We ended up messaging the couch vendor asking what we can do to fluff up the cushions and they ended up sending us a new couch, which my husband put together. It took him, and I kid you not, 25 minutes to put it together by himself - what took two people three hours (and incorrectly, no less). We still tipped them quite a bit as we felt bad they had been here for so long. We were super busy with the move (we moved to Florida from Canada, so not a small move) while still working, so I hadn’t had a chance to email loadup and give this account of my experience. Finally, I got an email on May 2nd asking for feedback on our service and I told them what happened. They offered me a discount on my next service with them which I definitely wouldn’t need again from them. I told them that what I think would be fair is a refund for what I paid for that wasn’t completed (two bed frames and two night stands). I don’t think that’s unreasonable - when you pay for a service, it kind of makes sense that you get said service, right? Apparently not, because I didn’t let them know within 24 hours (during a move to a new country with three kids - I’ve been a tad busy). I told them this and got no response - so clearly they only want feedback that’s positive and won’t do anything with the negative. They also clearly don’t stand behind their service and have terrible customer service - so maybe they’re fine for junk removal but I certainly wouldn’t recommend for furniture assembly. They caused way more stress, when we got this service to help alleviate it in the first place.

Driver asked me to be ready by 7 am - 8 am. Checked up on 8 am no arrival. Tried to call several times, until I stated I wanted to cancel, then stated he would be here 9:40 am. I paid 114 for this?!! Should have called 1800 junk removal.

Horrible, horrible company. A total rip off. They screwed up my initial order and customer service did not know what they were doing. After several attempts to get the job correct I gave up and cancelled within 24hrs of initial booking. They withheld 20% of my refund even though they are the ones who messed up! Lots of complaints on Better Business Bureau, too. Beware.

Left a huge huge mess in my driveway. I paid way too much for one item to be picked up and then come home to a huge mess. Extremely disappointed in the service.

Do not use this company. They tried to double the cost of my job after I had already paid by misrepresenting what constitutes a medium swingset. Because mine was outside, had a small slide, and was made of wood, they claimed it was a play structure that incurred $500 more fees even though the definition of medium swing set on their website includes a slide and states nothing about whether it can be wooden or not. When I refused to pay that amount and cancelled 5 days before pickup, they charged a 20% cancellation fee.

Today I had the distinct pleasure of working with LoadUp today for a simple couch removal. I was assigned a worker for my removal at 8:10 Am. 7.5 hours later I noticed that the tracker is not working. I reached out to customer service only to be informed by Max & Aaron that whomever was supposed to complete my service is out sick and that there isn't anyone in my area to do this service. I begrudgingly completed the service myself and since their service was no longer required due to their lack of availability, I asked for a refund. I was informed by Max that I would only receive half of total funds rendered for the service due to them cancelling the reservation since they were no longer required. $80 was paid for a service that wasn't even assigned or completed. Please look elsewhere for any of your item removal needs. This was a complete waste of time and money. Customer Service is also a text only service & did respond to my inquiries very quickly until I asked about a refund.

Do Not Use This Service. It is a scam. Approximately 3 weeks ago, Movers were scheduled to move items between hours of 8-12. The contract indicated it was a switch out. Meaning a dresser from a storage facility to an apartment. Other items in the storage facility were to be removed and discarded. It was a 2 man job. The loader arrived at the storage facility with a pickup truck loaded with oil cans. Moreover, he could not possibly move the dressers alone. Moreover, the Loader arrived at the facility well past the agreed up times of 8-12 pm. Although, the problem was on Loadup's end, I did not receive a refund. Also, the loaders have to dispose of the discarded items at their own expense. They barely make any money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANIES SERVICE, IT'S A SCAM!

I needed to cancel a trampoline break down and pick up service about a month before scheduled service and was still charged 20% of total service price. No service was provided and I gave ample notice before cancellation. I am leaving a bad review because the cancellation policy is harsh for a service that requires upfront charge. Terrible.

1 out of 10 don't recommend. I was looking for a next-day appointment before a busy travel month for worm. I called and booked an appointment on 3/31 (Easter Sunday) with a live representative who said nothing about not providing services on the holiday. I was pleased because it was super convenient which is why I was willing to pay upfront. I got a fall about 4 hours later from a driver that said they actually don't pick-up on Easter Sunday. When I called to cancel the appointment to make other arrangements (the ONLY reason I booked with them is becuase they led me to believe the could provide the service sooner than anybody else) I was told they could only refund 80% of the fee. Completely unacceptable given that it was the company's fault to book me for that day in the first place. I contested the charge with my credit card company (Chase, who I 10/10 DO recommend) who was able to get me a 100% refund; obviously that was always an option that I was not offered when I called on my own behalf. I don't blame them for not working on Easter; I blame them for booking the appointment in the first place and not acknowledging their error.

On Friday, Mar 29 via text to book pickup. I asked for call back and spoke with Marlon booked pickup on Mar 30 between 8AM-12PM. He sent me email link to make the payment online. The payment was processed per my bank. The day of pickup no one showed up, so I contacted the company. I was told multiply times someone in customer service will call me back. The last phone call I made after 5PM the rep informed me no loader is available today. He told me I would have to reschedule pickup on Monday, April 2nd. Then informed me my payment hasn't processed yet, so I could not schedule the pickup until payment is confirmed. I never heard of such a thing. If the payment wasn't going to be processed my bank would have declined the payment and their system would have known that immediately. The rep suggested I give him another credit card for payment to book the pickup for Monday. I had to explain I am not going to cancel the transaction and be charged a bank fee. He said I can't reschedule until payment is received. I hung up the phone in dismay of that conversation. I called my bank just to verify if Load-Up processed the payment, and yes they did. I highly do not recommend this company due to lack of communication, bad customer service, and company policies. I have one option is wait until my payment is received on their end and book Monday. I hope and pray I won't have to stop payment and be out over $200.

Communication was terrible. I had to reach out to get some idea of when my loader would show up. When I requested a mid-day arrival, the loader cancelled on me onlly 12 hours from pick up time. I had to make other arrangements, so cancelled my Load Up order. Load up refused to reimburse my full payment, when it was their loader that cancelled on me due to lack of their communication. I lost $500 due to their poor service. Terrible company.

Paid $129 to have them remove my king box springs and mattress. Driver showed up while I was at work and loaded the box springs and stole my bed frame and left the mattress on my porch. The instructions clearly stated he was picking up a box springs and mattress and never mentions him removing my bed frame that I just purchased. Customer service is horrible and in my opinion definitely not worth the $129 especially if they have thieves working for them. I was told this guy might be illiterate and if that’s the case he shouldn’t be in charge of reading work orders. I have cameras and he spent a good 15 minutes moving the mattress around to get the bed frame. Very sketchy company. I’m giving them until tomorrow to return my bed frame before I file a burglary report. I would not recommend them or their company. Absolutely horrible experience. Plus I still have to pay to get my damn mattress removed.

BEWARE!!!! Yes I had a bad experience. Did not know these are subcontracted workers. Which is fine. But know who you're hiring, they put a huge gouge in our pergo floor removing a couch out of the living room. Then almost knocked the hallway light right out of its circuit. Until I told them they were going to knock it off! Just very unprofessional. I would not refer anybody to this company!! AGAIN BEWARE!!!!

LoadUp scheduled a time to assemble a bed for me, between 12:00 and 4:00 on Friday. Friday morning I was contacted and told they had an issue, could I be flexible and extend time from 8:00 to 8:00. It was an inconvenience, I cancelled appointments, but I agreed. After sitting home all day, at 3:00 I was advised I am out of their area and they cannot set up the bed. Very disappointed in how this was handled.

Be wary of their terms and conditions. If you cancel in advance for any reason they still charge you a cancellation fee.
