They were not prepared to load a mattress in the rain, they had no tarp to cover it.

First, I want to express my effusive praise for the two people who showed up to remove my A/C. They were kind, polite, neat, and removed my window A/C unit quickly and efficiently. I have nothing but kind words for them and the work they did. It is such a shame then that they work for LoadUp. I booked my pick-up for the 4-hour morning time block, 8am-12pm, which was perfect given that I have to be at work by 1pm. I waited patiently all morning until 12pm when I received a call informing me that the loaders would be 45mins late. My girlfriend was home, but she had to leave by 2:15pm at the latest. Then, from about 12:45 on I was repeatedly informed that the loaders were "15 mins away" until they *finally* arrived at 2pm. The loaders were 15mins away for over an hour and a whole 2 hours late, for a total wait time of 6 hours. As I mentioned, once they arrived that could not have been nicer and did a fine job removing the A/C. But I think their management has a lot of room for improvement. We booked a 4-hour time block and planned our day around it, so if LoadUp has trouble sticking to their schedule then I would suggest just doing all-day time blocks.

Unfortunately, there are circumstances that can cause routes to run on delays. We do our best to keep our customers informed with accurate information in those cases, but it appears we were not able to communicate with you effectively during your pickup. The driver came alone. there is no way one person can handle a queen mattress from upstairs. i had to help carry the mattress. Since i am 79 years old it was a chore. the driver had no paperwork to give me as a receipt. All in all a poor effort.

They were an hour late after the planned time period and no one called to tell me why they were late or when they would come.

Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee our time windows as delays can and do happen. We do our very best to keep our customer's as up to date as possible if this should occur. The job was completed competently and in a timely manner. However, the people who came to do the job were not from LoadUp. They were a small local hauling business hired by LoadUp. LoadUp did not inform me that they had hired a contractor, and the contractor showed up with no paperwork of any kind. That was disconcerting to me and unprofessional of LoadUp.

We’re suppose to be there in 8-12 time window. Took several calls to coordinate pick for later in day (I had personal appointment 2). Goods were finally picked around 4:30.

Don’t try to cancel they keep money anyway. I called and set up removal for pickup in a day or two. Called back the same day because I realized I could donate the items. I called and they told me I only had 1 hour to cancel after placing or and that they keep 50% of payment. Really? I can’t cancel a order on the same day I placed it? Customers only have minutes to cancel.

The driver did arrive on time but he was alone. The company was supposed to pick up our heavy king size memory foam mattress. The driver was probably in his 60’s and he was limping. My husband was home with me and had just had a medical procedure with post procedure instructions to not lift anything over 20 pounds for 3 days. We really needed to have the mattress moved out of our house that day and so my husband felt compelled to help the driver. I have had back surgery and could not help. LoadUp should have sent at least 2 people to pick up the mattress. They put us in a difficult situation that could have resulted in physical injury to my husband or me. But if we had let the driver try to move the mattress by himself I‘m certain that our home or furniture would have been damaged as the heavy mattress wobbled back and forth.

Good: They picked up my stuff. Bad: Scheduling was difficult. They were surprised by the size of item, a queen mattress, had inadequate transportation, and were barely physically strong enough to manipulate and load it.

General inexperience (but they were young, so I understand), however, on the way out of my house, the mattress they were taking away hit my front door light fixture and bent it. They just were like "oops", and left. Now, my light fixture is bent and sticks out from the wall (used to be flush).

The service itself was excellent in terms of communication and prompt arrival. However, may barely used new mattress was a return and was supposed to be donated. The driver was alone and struggled to drag it to his truck on a rainy day. He dragged it through a puddle and soiled it! I called your company and reported this so I trust it won't happen again. I also called Avocado Mattress and spoke to a supervisor there. She will be following up with you as well.

They were supposed to be at my house before noon didn’t get there until 3:30. I had to call 3 times to check and see if they were still coming.
