If you have a bargepole don't touch Go Outdoors with it. They take your money and only tell you they've cancelled your order due to no stock when you contact them to ask where it is and it still says 'processing' on your account. They lamely say their on-line stock may take a few minutes to update but this was an order I placed over 5 days ago and their website is still showing stock available and would still allow me to re-order it. Absolutely woeful - don't waste your time ordering from them - find another supplier.

Dreadful, ordered a LARGE grilling basket, a TEENY WEENY one arrived, tried emailing, completing the online contact form, phoning, exactly the same lack of response as everyone else, finally managed to speak to someone exactly 4 weeks after placing the original order, no apology, no acknowledgement of mistake just wanting me to take it to a collect plus depot miles away. Meh!

Don’t answer emails or when u phone them they are always updating something or other !! This is just the online part of the business the shops that I use always give good service 😊 Never used to be like this until JD SPORTS took them over I think and then it seems to have gone downhill 😕

Said an item was in stock let me pay for it then told the next day don’t take any notice if the online there’s a glitch could be 2/3 day before it comes in, great camping trip knackered. Absolute disgrace of a company

Worst customer service ever! Website doesn’t work properly so I ended up ordering and paying twice. I then received two orders and had to return on. Took 2 weeks to get a refund! Customer services don’t answer emails or calls and last week you couldn’t even call them as they were ‘too busy to take calls!’

I ordered a tent package online for next day collection at the belfast store,I rang next day store said 5-7 working days for collection (how is that next day collection?) Waited 7 working days store then said not here noting to do with them i contacted customer service with absolutely no reply? 3 Weeks later and 20 phone calls and 45 emails i get a refund They are an absolute joke and this is the truth

My friend and me wanted new walking boots and spent 2 hours in the store trying on - the employees, a young man and then Theresa were patient and helpful all the time. Thank you.

My experience replicates that of many of the other reviewers. No communication, 3-5 day delivery is a lie, sold a tent that doesn't exist, holiday cancelled as a result, lost deposits, disappointed kids etc. I feel well and truly fleeced. I will never buy from go outdoors again!

Is it possible to give 0 stars? I placed an order 8 days ago and paid £4.95 for 3-5 day delivery. I have now received an email to tell me that half of my order has been cancelled. They do not answer the phone. They do not answer emails. They just take your money! Yet continue to advertise on TV. Have they not seen the bad reviews and 100+ tweets from unhappy customers. And to top it off, the item that they have cancelled and told me they cannot fulfil, is still showing as available for delivery online.

Placed order, that said was in stock and was 3-5 day delivery took over 2 weeks to hear anything. Finally 2 and half weeks later get a email saying it's been dispatched, we are now on 3 weeks and still hasn't turned up. Sent 2 emails to customer services and haven't had any response.

Wouldnt have anything to do with go outdoors. Purchased an event shelter that has hardly been used and is disintegrating, it is well within manufacturers warranty. Was told when trying to get a repair/replacement cover in store that the event shelters that are designed for use in the sun should not be left out for more than a week or so as the change in temperature between sunny days and cool mornings makes the material fail. The staff member could not provide any proof that this happens other stating that they had supplied an events company tents made out of the same material and as they were left out a few months they all had to be replaced due to same issues. This isn't 'proof' just hear say, in my opinion the item cannot be used as intended. Really poor customer services; as the law states "you must offer a full refund if an item is faulty, not as described or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to" well it that's certainly the case here but was told there was nothing they could do. You only have to look on 'trustpilot' to see lots of other issues with poor customer services

Ordered and paid next day delivery, no order arrived, going away now so could have ordered from someone else. Tried ringing get cut off as too busy, (rung when phone lines had just opened) not good for a first time order, won’t be ordering from them again

Failure to deliver on time; this happens every time you order from them. Nearly impossible to reach any form of Customer Service staff and when you do they have no answers. Will never use this company again!!

Does anyone even work in the customer service department! I've tried to contact them 3 days on the bounce at different times of the day and I've sent an email every single day for those 3 days and i can't make any contact or get a response.

It's gone horribly wrong for the company. Lot's of people, myself included, have ordered goods had our money taken but received nothing. Customer service is refusing to answer the phone, bad reviews everywhere, no reply to emails, no goods delivered. Do not give them your money

If I could select 0 stars then I would. Order placed over a week ago, have chased via email and phone with no update on where it is or when I can expect the order. Have tried phoning customer service again today and the number is now not accepting calls.
