It has taken several days mainly struggling with a system failure in the Saga website, which customer service people were totally unaware of. Everything was fine until I clicked to accept the quote to move from GoCompare to Saga, only to get a screen saying” there is a system fault” and an 0800 number to call. This I did and offered the reference number only to be told that it was unique to GoCompare and not recognisable to Saga. Why one wonders do GoCompare IT and Saga IT not talk to each other??? Also I was told by a lady in GoCompare that she could not create the £250 excess facility and that I would need to speak to them to get that facility. Finally found help with Bidhan at Saga who had to take me through the quote again (even though I still had the details on my laptop as we spoke), before finally got to pay my premium. I have asked Bidham to register a complaint on my behalf as I feel some small token of financial compensation to me is justified by the vast amount of valuable time invested by me in sorting out this fiasco. Many a customer would have given in and shopped elsewhere for their insurance. I hope that this information is passed on and that some improvement ensues. It should be a wake up call to both of your IT departments to make a user friendly and more integrated system Michael Baker

hopeless I have tried 6 times to progress the Sainsburys offer - and am willing to buy now and get nowhere

Sometimes internet history can affect the way a website functions, so you could try clearing your internet history, cookies and cache. Difficult to use. Kept timing out. Lost results page. All 'quotations' turned out to be very expensive. Wasted 4 hours with it. Saved over 50% on cheapest Go Compare price by phoning an insurer who wasn't listed on GoCompare directly. Saved over 50%

Could not finalise the offer of £336.08 from auto net 7pm 20th. Called first thing 21st and explained, but was subsequently told the offer was now £254.18 as this was another day! Pretty petty don't you think, some would say shifty. Like to now your view? I was not impressed

I Registered my new address and for some reason my old one was put on the system instead so then had to pay the change of address which I think is totally unfair and unreasonable.i won’t use them again if I do not get a refund

I put in all the correct information and when I went to buy the cheapest which was LV, I was asked again if I had oil central heating so I ticked the yes and it came back with, they don't insure new policies that have oil central heating. I wasn't impressed!

Prices are to expensive. car is worth £200. held licence for over 19 years additional driver had there licence for over 23 years. Have got no claims for over 15 years but insurance comes at £1200+. No wonder people struggle in these times getting robbed of these insurance companies

Total rubbish. Bought the cheapest quote available for my van. Went through to the insurers site, paid. They then said payment declined but charged me 3 times! Total out Of pocket £900! No response or any help From go compare. Insurance company said it’s admin error but refused to repay me!! Site should be shut down until It works correct!
