“I tried to get car insurance quote on your site. I was given a list of insurers but when I followed the link to the about 5 of the insurers sites, the price they had given was with a 12 year NCD. Because they PRESUMED with the information I had put in I should have 12 yrs NCD not 0 NCD as I had searched for. So when I corrected this the price went up by over £100. Not a very good practice. I will be telling everyone that I know about this!!!”

“Car insurance quotes were massively different when trying to purchase, apparently providers (AA) didn't even know my VRN? When I gave it to them the premium raised by over £100, another provider didn't call me back in order to take payment and 2 other providers premiums were different . I assumed quotes are valid for 30 days or until a date stated?”

“Insurance company provided a quote only to then say that was an 'indicative' quote and then went to underwriters who then loaded the premium by almost £150 for no reason”

“you are the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to call. you cost me £26 in phone call's . your online salesmen are very poor. when you ask them a question' they dont answer you directly' they refer to a pre given answer . and they dont listen. and your customer service is rotten. your complaint's department is rotten.”

“The company one call price on line was £213 but when speaking to them it went to £326 very disappointed as felt I had wasted my time inputting all my information in the system I have found my insurance now with another company directly not through go compare as I find this totally unfair”

“The insurance broker in your website A Choice Insurance is cheating your customers. The first authorize insurance policies of every individuals and after taking payments, very next day refused or cancel the policy by giving and excuses. Their only cheap purpose of business is to deduct / charge administration cost of £50.00. The company is worst in their dealing with customers and they are literally thieves.”

“I took car insurance out with Skippy and they are not very helpful..Very rude..Passed me here there and everywhere..Spent 2 days on hold... I have cancelled my insurance and to top it all only had insurance for about 18 hours!!! And had to pay cancellation fee..I am disgusted the way they spoke to me...NO RESPECT AT ALL????????”

“ur site showed me a nice offer . i have bought the policy and after 1 h i got a phone call that on web site was something wrong and my policy will be cancelled or moved to a new ona what was over 500 pounds more expencive. I wasnt happy and i sand i dont want it. Now they charging me for canceletion of the policy even if it wasnt my fault !! I WILL NEVER USE GO COMPARE ANYMORE !!! Also will tell to as many ppl as possible about it. Also they told me i must wait 5-7 working days to get my money back ! This is a robbery with cancellation fee and now they will use my money for 5-7 days b4 they return. thinking to go to ombudsmans !”

“All comparisons sites are same, they must make deal with certain insurers, every site I visited game me quotes from same insurers and similar price, my advise shop around well in advance if your renewal or you will be pushed against the wall to buy for only one company, as that will be the cheapest. Plus there is no where to stop automatic renewal very frustrating”
