“We had to make the hardest decision for our dog Rocky. 15yrs and a huge part of our family. When we contacted goodbye good boy, from the very first phone call with dawn i felt we would be able to get through it. Dr Sherif came to our house and was unbelievable. Absolutely first class. Caring and understanding. For such a truly bad thing to have to go through, it was made easy by everyone involved at goodbye good boy. Thanks guys.”

“Made such a heart breaking experience so much easier. They were very personable, caring and considerate. From the lady answering the phone (which is what I was dreading, having to say it out loud) to Dr Tom who was amazing and helped us make the last moments with our little Harley that much easier. They are very thoughtful and kind. Thank you so much.”

“We had the most beautiful send off for our boy Yoda with the help from Dr Tim from Goodbye Good Boy. He created the most calming, peaceful and loving environment for our boy, and if we had to do it again we wouldn’t change a thing. X”

“I cannot speak more highly of the staff at Goodbye Good Boy. Everyone showed such empathy from John who come to pick up my girl, he was so very caring and very respectful. It was one of the hardest days of my life but knowing my beautiful poppet was in good hands made it a little easier to let her go on her last car ride. The gentle man (sorry I missed his name, I was a mess)who delivered her ashes back to me made it easier than I thought it would be, and to the lady who rang me 13 days after the fateful day, to check on me and to encourage me to look at all the good times my girl and I shared. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend their service. Darian Dedrick”

“Omg what can I say Caitlin your humbleness and nurturing nature and guidance ensured me she was going to be taken care of and the rest of the team who looked after our baby girl Roxy went above and beyond, from the time of Roxy’s passing to her cremation and handing our baby back to us.our whanau are forever great full thank you so very much absolutely a wonderful experience and a amazing team”

“My beautiful boy Benson was nearing 18 years old and his health had declined. I was upset & scared about making the wrong decision. I spoke to Dawn a couple of times and she reassured me that the Vet would come out and assess Benson before anything else. I was able to say goodbye to my boy whilst nursing him, at home, peaceful in his bed, surrounded in love. Goodbye Good boy looked after him and followed up with me to see how I was feeling afterwards. His ashes were brought home to me, presented beautifully, very fitting for the wonderful soul that he was. Thank you 💙”

“Kazbah was our very loved fur baby, he was our little love bug that just filled our life with so much joy. We knew that the time had come to ease his pain and let him cross over the rainbow with dignity and we wanted him to be at home where he was comfortable. Goodbye Good Boy made the process easy, they were supportive and very good at responding quickly to our questions. Everything was just done respectively and in a way that was not intrusive at all. Thank you for everything.”

“We had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Sheba and Goodbye Good Boy provided an absolutely wonderful service from beginning to end. Dr. Taylor was sensitive, kind and provided information at every step of the way. I was so distraught and overwhelmed and she made me feel at ease with her caring nature. When I received my Sheba's ashes with a beautiful engraved box, her paw prints and some of her fur, I was overwhelmed again but with gratitude. I now know the importance of having someone come to the house where the animal is at home surrounded by loved ones and made to feel so comfortable. She was treated with respect at all times, even when she was wrapped in a big blanket to take her to the car. I can't thank everyone involved enough to make our pain just a little bit more bearable.”

“Goodbye Good Boy helped us say goodbye to our wonderful old dog. The website was an excellent starting point and the phone consultation was invaluable in helping us make our difficult decision. They were able to work with us to find a time that worked for all of the family members. The vet that came, lead us through the process with compassion and allowed us to take our time. Our dog was able to drift to sleep in the comfort of her beloved garden surrounded by the whole family. We are very grateful for such an ideal goodbye.”

“Goodbye Good Boy were very helpful when we needed immediate assistance on a Sunday. The vet who came was patient and compassionate and help our old dog to leave this world in a gentle, caring way. She was also very supportive of us and I appreciated the followup call a couple from the company a couple of weeks later to see how we were doing. So much better in our home than if we had taken our sweet Guido to a clinical Vet environment.”

“I cannot recommend Goodbye Good Dog more highly based on our experience. Our beloved and faithful companion Barney was released from this earth after 18 years of life, love and adventure. He died so peacefully under the frangipani tree in our backyard. It was his time to go after a life well lived and well loved. Goodbye Good Dog were seamless, kind and compassionate in coordinating all aspects of Barney 'earning his angel's wings' from my initial phone enquiry through to booking the next day. The vet who came to our house was so gentle and loving to Barney, and his precious body was collected efficiently, cremated and returned to us in a timber box with his name 'Barney' engraved on a nameplate. We could not have asked for more. Barney passed away gently and peacefully and for that we are so thankful.”

“The vet who took care of our beloved 18yo girl was very kind, patient and understanding. A seamless process during a difficult time. Goodbye Good Boy also sent us chocolates and the picture their graphic artist made was beautiful and will be cherished forever. Highly recommend this service.”
