The food is really tasty and has no chemicals or preservatives in it. Also it is much lower in salt than the competitors. It is by far the best backpacking meal that I have eaten over my 40 years of backpacking.

I love that these meals are clean and have real ingredients. I do a lot of backpacking and I want real food to properly refuel. Plus they taste great. I especially love the mushroom risotto.

I love the choices! Finding foods that can be eaten with my food allergies is difficult. The quality is outstanding. I tend to make my backpacking buddies jealous of my evening repast. Thank you for such fine products.

I really appreciate the emphasis on real food ingredients, versus chemically-constructed taste-alikes. I also like the ethnically-themed meals with the flavor diversity that adds. I rate the Thai Curry and Rice very highly for flavor. The Pad Thai seems better to me lately than earlier. I enjoy the humor on the packaging. On a very recent wilderness paddling trip in the Adirondacks, I took four Good To Go meals. Two were lifesavers, as the wind and rain really pinned us down and made simplicity of food preparation essential. Even getting the stove going was a challenge! However, our group had agreed that each of us would make a group meal. When the weather abated, we had, one night, grilled sirloin tips with sautéed shiitake mushrooms, red peppers, garlic, and onions. The next we had marinated pork tenderloin cutlets with sun-dried tomato risotto. I was obliged to bring home, unused, the Good To Go Indian Korma and Chicken Gumbo. I'll look forward to having them on my next trip. You're doing wonderful things with dried foods. Keep it up! Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed almost every flavor combo! Easy to use, tasty, filling. A real treat to have on our section hike!

I tried the Pad Thai single serving. I normally use Mountain House Pro-Pak meals on 8 day backpacking trips in high elevation mountains. The single serving was plenty of food, and tasted fine in my kitchen, so it would be very fine in the mountains. Patience waiting 15 min was the only challenge. I would order more non-vegetarian single serving types of meals when they are available. Price was competitive. Double servings would be way too much food unless you were sharing with another, then the reduced trash would be a plus.

It’s easy, good, and, healthy. Not sure what more anyone would want?

We ordered six entrees to taste before an upcoming backpacking trip. We have tasted both the Chicken Gumbo and the Mexican Quinoa Bowl and rate them both 10 out of 10! We are very health conscious, and it is wonderful to find backpacking food without additives and excessive salt. Both entrees are hearty, filling, and tasty, with just the right amount of spice. We are eager to taste the remaining four entrees!

Good To Go food is nutritious, easy to make, and very very tasty. It has a good amount of the calories hikers, trekkers, bikers and many more explorers need.

Been ordering these meals for a couple years now and they're overall very good. Try them all to see which you like, personally I don't like the Bibimbap as it's way too spicy (and I like spicy food to some extent so that's really saying something). Adding a little salt to all of them really improves them too.

Good To-Go meals are hands down the best dehydrated backpacking meals I've had. Not only are they delicious, but you are supporting a company with a great mission! I don't think I'll ever buy another brand of dehydrated meals.

Korma was great! Risotto was bland.

Great service! For the most part, the food is great, so I would say a 4.25 out of 5 stars, so I rounded down to 4. The Chili and corn chowder are OK. Easy to add some better flavoring to the chili. The corn chowder has too much for spices. The Risotto is the favorite of my wife and I. Still have not tried all the foods yet - but anxious to work our way through the rest. Keep up the great work!

The GTG meals are healthy, delicious and so convenient for taking on trips, snowboarding or for a quick work lunch on the go. I travel for work a lot, so your GTG meals are great for a quick meal wherever I am, just add hot water. Quinoa and Thai Curry are my favs. Love it and love the variety (oh, and the oatmeal & granola are amazing, too)! -MD

Meals have been sent to my daughter (vegetarian) in California. She has taken them on backpacking trips. Says they taste great. A friend who is a long distance canoeist turned me on to the company. She loves them too.
