“I ordered two candles from them. Different flavors. One was supposed to be a vanilla and one was supposed to be apricot and they both smelled exactly the same. When I contacted them they pretty much said you can spend your own money to return it. You won't get back the money you spent for shipping it to you and then they came back with.:We'll give you a $5 credit to order more. The worst customer service don't buy from them!”

I received damaged candles and they wanted me to deal with it instead of just replacing the entire order or at best sending me another box to put the ones I wanted replaced in to return. They said they don't accept broken items, but they didn't have an issue with me having to deal with it. I should have sent them back anyway. I threw the entire box in the trash. Total waste of my money and time. I even filed a complaint with the BBB. After they gave me a credit for the broken candles, they ignore my two follow-up request including asking for anther box. I will NEVER EVER buy from them again, and if I were you, I wouldn't either...LOL”

I placed a rather large order and never received. It was labeled as “pending delivery” with the mail carrier, so I was not able to claim it as lost. It was marked as “shipped,” “pending delivery,” etc, multiple times. As someone who ships items often, none of the labels given to the shipping process matched the package actually leaving Goose Creek’s possession, making it where I could not file a claim with the carrier.
After MULTIPLE emails made to the company, I was offered a gift card worth 50% of my original order cost. I fully understand a circumstance involving offering “store credit” - but if you cannot even offer 100% back when I never received the package, that is all I need to know about you as a company.
Called my money a total loss & will NEVER shop this company again.”
“I made a good size order 10 days ago, still no candles, I checked tracking it only says there’s no info on the package, it’s just delayed. I emailed the company NO response at all!!!! It’s a real shame they conduct their business this way! I WOULD have been a very loyal customer, but not now! They should have at least responded to me! Shame!”
“New signature candles (perfume fragrances like Cloud. My order was $166. I was over the moon that they made perfume candles. They are all terrible. A few smell like chemicals and two that I was hoping to love have such a light fragrance to them, far less of a throw than their normal candles have. Folks take my advice and just DONT. I hate myself for not waiting on the reviews first!!!!!”
“I bought 10 3-wick candles and they all arrived intact. They looked and smelled great until you lit them. The wicks will not hold the flame causing the wax to melt unevenly. They bring a lot of soot and halfway, smelled like burn. I got them on sale and that must be the reason why they were defective.”
“I purchased 3 wax melts. It smelled great the first day but after that first day it does not smell anymore. I bought some soy wax melts from Amazon before this purchase because I am looking for the best product and that one at least lasted a week.”

“I've been ordering large quantities of candles for over 2 yrs now and never had a complaint until last fall. I found the candle quality to be grossly inconsistent. Additionally, I purchased Pillsbury Candles in mass and the quality and burn time was unacceptable to say the least. Betty Crocker a bit better but certainly not up to GC standards. I emailed a complaint and got a lame apology and a $certificate lol...albeit my orders average well over $200 several times a yr. I replied that it was an insult, the reply "here's a $10 certificate "...additionally GC refuses to take any responsibility for Pillsbury or Crocker candles although legally they are the representative of them..the last insult "you should buy one candle at a time" lol really! I will not longer buy from them unless they make this right. Sad”
