flight was delayed due to stormy weather , I. called and said we would be arriving at 6:30pm in orlando. they told me that would be ok and when we arrived to get car,They cancelled my reservation and then proceeded to tell me they had No cars left to rent. as the parking lot was full of cars??? The woman working the counter kept saying reservation cancelled can’t rent a car .. WTF?? Please avoid hassles and delays and rent from a reputable company’s.Because of this company It took over 3 hrs to over another car Seems likeA scam !!!

I arranged to hire a car in early April unfortunately due to a bereavement we had to cancel. I knew there would be a £25 fee taken due to the late cancellation. I was promised the remaining money back and expected this to go back on my credit card which I used to pay for it. The money did not arrive and I have had to phone and email many times to get things seen to. Instead of the money going onto my credit card they sent it through to my bank account but in the process they charged me fees totalling £16. I am now 10 weeks on and I am still trying to get the rest of my money back. I DO NOT recommend using this company as getting anything sorted is not easy.

I had an awful experience on June 12th. Due to a delayed flight, I called customer service multiple times to confirm my rental car would be available. Despite assurances, when I arrived at midnight, the office was closed, and no one was there to help. My daughter and I were forced to spend the night at the airport, leading to her falling ill and me missing important business meetings. The entire ordeal was extremely distressing and inconvenient. Very disappointed with the service and lack of support.

They're f.cking cheating, they charged me double time. Don't ever rent from this company.they try to steal your money anyway even you right.

I wish negative stars would be an option. This company is horrific in terms of customer service and use bad suppliers. I hired a car for a trip which I ended up having to cancel because the rental company did not have a manual car and instead offered a large bmw. The total opposite in terms of what I had booked. I rang bsp on the collection day to tell them I couldng accept this and needed to cancel. The person I spoke to was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. Since applying for a refund bsp has struggled to contact their supplier, sixt hammersmith. When they did they accused me of lying and being a no show which is so incredibly frustrating given my entire family trip was cancelled due to these companies. I still have not received a single penny of the £250 I paid to bsp. I would also add that sixt tried to charge an additional £200 on the day for insurance if I were to take the bmw. A hidden cost that was not made clear by bsp during booking. Overall this really has been terrible and I would never never use either company again. I've actually gone ahead with buying a car now because I don't trust rental companies altogether and never want to be in the same situation again away from an important family event. Strongly advise against using this company!!!

Used this company while in Tampa. Long walk to the outside to be picked up and taken to location. Ok dealt with that. They did have a car, clean and nice, BUT TAKE NOTE: when they give you a short list of insurance companies they'll accept, THAT'S THE WHOLE LIST. My bf and I carry different insurance, legit insurance full coverage that they would not honor. At 10p you're stuck, charged us $600 for 1 week of car insurance and even more of your wanted to have a 2nd driver. Heard another customer going thru the same issue when we returned the car. Then the issue with the dam tolls. Either pay for Sun pass for the entire rental even though not using it, or pay as you go & it's sent to your cc.. so $20 for 1 toll we used during that week. Would have skipped toll, like we could do for most everything, but to go to the fort you have to go thru a toll, ridiculous!! Lesson learned, back to Budget, Alamo, Avis, etc.

Very poor service. Avis would not honour the voucher provided by GotRentalCars.com and then refused to refund on my return despite me having received no service. AVOID.

Don’t bother using this company, they cancelled our booking last minute and still charged us a late fee. Completely unprofessional, they hang up on customers addressing the issue, not worth the stress

AVOID...Horrible company. I booked a car online using a debit card - they took the money without any issue. I read the confirmation which said there would be deposit required and i called back asking about that. The gentleman told me it was refundable and payable at the checkout counter by credit card. I told him my son was renting the car and didn't have a credit card. He said the card had to be in his name in which I replied he didn't have a credit card and would have to use his debit/credit card - he never told me that would not work. When we arrived last night to get the card - the agent told us a debit card could not be used. She suggested we reach the company we rented from and have it changed to my name with my son being an additional driver. We tried to reach them for 30 mins receiving a message that all agents were busy and to leave a message and they would call us back. We left over 30 messages - never received a call back. We kept trying and finally received a message saying they were closed and to call back during working hours. Who does business for car rentals at airports where people come in at all hours of the night and not have 24 hour support. The agent at the car rental place told us to speak with them today and tell them we did not qualify for the rental. She said since we did not qualify - they are suppose to refund our money. We contacted them today and was told they would not give us a refund. So we spent $300 on a rental car that we were never able to get. This company sucks - NEVER use them.

Avoid at all cost. 45 minutes in line to pick up. We wanted it for another week but they were going to charge us a $20 a day surcharge. We dropped the car off and went elsewhere.

I booked online for a rental at Ft lauderdale airport. I paid in full, a least I thought I did, when I got to check in at rental desk ( Ace rental ) I was told it would cost me 236.00 more. I protested but, a that point we had to get on with our trip. I would never recommend these agency's.

Do not rent from this agency. My experience was something out of a movie script. After booking a rental, the instructions came by email. I had to take a bus from the Los Angeles airport to a "pick up" lot. The instructions asked me to board an orange line bus which I did. That line took me to the employee lot. I got back on the bus, went back to the airport and called the Got Rental Cars. They told me to get on another color bus line to get to the pick up lot. I did. The pick up van took me to the rental car lot where I spoke to someone on a video monitor through a zoom link. It was then I found out the rental was going to cost me an additional $225.91. I stupidly agreed. The car they wanted me to drive was a 1980's Cougar that was so low I couldn't see over the dash. When I asked for an exchange, I was told it would be an upgrade and more money. There were other issues too. At the end, I paid almost $500 for this bait and switch rental. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Honestly NEVER AGAIN. don't do it. They ruined my holiday, they had all the wrong information and even the wrong company I had hired a car from. They wrong address to collect too. I also hired too baby seats and that wasn't on the order when I got there and I couldn't cancel because I couldn't get hold of them. Just DO NOT DO IT for a few quid saved!

Avoid folks…….hired a small car online and went to pick up? Car supplying company said they didn’t have the car I booked and only had a SUV at an extra cost of £57.60? Apparently gotrentals always do this? So they sell a service that can’t be provided, the car company also said that they couldn’t ring me as they wasn’t passed over any contact details?

TERRIBLE COMPANY Don't book if you don't have a credit card. Very old fashioned system to get you to book and take a booking fee when you cancel. I cancelled within an hour of booking and they still charged me. The only time it was made clear I needed to pay by credit card was after I had paid.

JUST BOOK THROUGH THE ACUTAL RENTAL CAR COMPANY! We Booked a car through GotRentalCars (probably from kayak.com or something) to be picked up at Hertz Grand Cayman. Our flight got delayed a day and I couldn't get ahold of their customer service. When we got to Hertz, they told us the reservation got cancelled and we had to book the same car for more than double what we paid. I've spent the last month trying to get ahold of somebody from their company to get a refund. Learn from our mistake

Had a car rent booking , when needed no one pick up the phone, on pick up day supplier asked for more money, even email confirmation says you payed in full. Will not recommend.

My husband organized our rental car for our planned trip to Mexico almost 3 months in advance of our trip. The day after he confirmed the order, they sent a cancellation. My husband called them and they let him know there was a glitch in their system and the rental car would be ready for us. The day before we left my husband again called Gotrentalcars.com to confirm our rental car, which they confirmed. We arrived in Mexico to find our rental car was cancelled. We ended up arranging a rental car through HERTZ at a higher price for a smaller car (there are 5 of us, luckily our 6th person dropped off or we would have had to pay even more). GotrentalCars.com did charge us for the rental they cancelled. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!

We had a great experience in Miami Intl Airport booking via GotRentalCars.com. Everything went really smoothly from pick up to drop off. We will definitely use again
