My box didn’t arrive. Customer service is shocking! Very rude and condescending. Can’t have a refund for 3/5 business days. Leaving me with no food for the week and out of pocket until I’m refunded.

Just received rotten chicken and the customer service team just kept talking over me. No concern about customer safety or an urgent product recall. I will be contacting food trading standards and then perhaps they will take it seriously.

Customer service is terrible have had to boxes delivered even though my account is paused I contacted..them was told some one would email me back. They didn't now I have to pay for their mistake

Wouldn’t recommend, had 3 boxes. In every box part/all meat was off and smelt so rancid. The dishes aren’t even that good and portion size not great either. They also didn’t deliver a box, when I questioned the customer service team didn’t even offer to send next day.

Absolutely terrible service and a terrible company never will I ever use you again such a lack of communication which resulted in me never actually receiving my box for the week!!!!! I will recommend that all of my family and friends NEVER use you!! So so disappointed with your service just terrible!

First box didn't arrive. After being told it had been returned to sender and to contact Gousto, I contacted them for them to tell me to contact Yodel. A lot of hassle for something that's meant to ease and straight forward. Finally after Gousto telling me my box wouldn't ever arrive, they said they would give me a refund and 50% of my next box. No offer of sending out a replacement, I am now having to wait for refund to come back into bank account, no meals that I had ordered for the week a head and the hassle of having to reorder. I don't see why I should have to be put out and inconvenienced like this. It leaves families with no meals and no money to purchase alternatives. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend!!!!

AWFUL!!! Go to Hellofresh!!! Numerous times this company has left things out of the box, contacted customer services and they are nothing but RUDE.

I have cancelled my subscription with you on my account and you have still sent me a box! There is no one to speak to or email. What am I supposed to do?

ordered my first box to be delivered it didnt arrive did an online chat with them the girl said i would be compensated did an online chat with them again today as they didnt get back to me said they would give me my money back didnt offer an alternative to deliver my boxes but asked about compensation said they would give me 30% but i get that anyway until end of march wont use them again

Wouldnt recommend, without reading everything first. Just had confirmation of an order, I didnt make or want & they have taken money from me without consent... apparently all pre-authorised by signing up! Offering 40% refund so am over £20 out of pocket! Wouldnt touch them with a barge plle

The concept and recipes are actually pretty good but they need to start using a decent courier (Hermes are awful). I have added notes to my delivery preferences but drivers just ignore them so you'll end up wasting lots of time talking to customer and service and with no food.

This was my first box, all but two of the tins are dented, one of the lemons has a large poor spot at one end, and the box only contained two small potatoes, whereas the recipes detailed that 14 potatoes were required in total. Therefore I will need to go out and purchase more potatoes, which defeats the point of having complete meals delivered. Not a good first impression at all.

I really like the idea of gousto and the recipes are good but the courier service is awful. On two occasions, the delivery driver didn’t knock on the door, ignored our delivery instructions, dropped our boxes from height on the floor. The first time this happened, I raised a complaint and gousto said this would be handled. The second time, it wasn’t. The delivery eh driver looked in our living room window, saw we were in and dropped the box from height at our door. I opened the door and tried to speak to the delivery driver but he repeatedly ignored me and drove off. The response from gousto when I called to tell them was poor - just an apology and another promise that this would be resolved. We no longer will order from them, it’s really disappointing.

Read the reviews before you buy. First of all the packaging is bad, quite a few plastic wrappings and plastic which cannot be recycled. They’re also not very good at dealing with complaints. I had my box delivered Incorrectly (wasn’t put in a safe place and was just left in view outside my front door) and the operative who handled my call was appalling. After arguing with me, yes arguing, he eventually discounted £7 from that particular box. After this I received a reminder from them stating that I hadn’t paid, but my card details remained the same with no need for an update. I then got a further letter to state they still hadn’t received payment and to make payment, but they can’t actually take a payment over the phone, make of that what you will. So I updated my card details again, and just hope that they take payment this time. Would not recommend because when you have a problem, their aftercare is appalling and they just don’t have the customer service you’d expect. I’m surprised Joe Wicks sponsors them!

I thought I’d give this a try after seeing a 60% discount code on Instagram with the Body Coach. I received a text message the day my delivery was fit to say my nic round big be delivered until the following day. I got straight on the the customer services, who apparently were extremely busy so I had to leave my email address. 24 hours later, I’m still waiting for a reply. My concern was the use by date of the meat, now a date less and that it took until 3pm to inform me that my box would not arrive in my chosen day. The box arrived today (7th Jan) I was not at home and the box was left in my safe place. Erm, no my box was not in my advised safe place, but on my door step for anyone to see. The meat as suspected had a rubbish use by date and the herbs were not useable. Waste of money!
