“Theres a lot of negative reviews here however I disagree with. The food delivery boxes for me have been great. I ve really enjoyed the meals so far that I ve made (about 4 boxes worth) I get the box that is for 4 people even though there is two of us and I freeze the meals and keep for another night/work lunch boxes.( and heres my link that gets your first box for £19 instead of £47! The level of service provided by gousto is very good- my box was late last week and within minutes I was speaking to a member of their team who was very helpful and resolved the issue very quickly. All of the meals so far have been very tasty- I thought a food delivery box initially would be a waste of money but now for the convenience, ease of cooking/ less food shopping and tasty dinners i am a convert and will be continuing with gousto”

“I have been using Gousto for two years and I have to say I love it. The choice of food is great, we rarely have to repeat a recipe and the quality is high. Over the years we've had a couple of recipes we didn't love but overall we are totally sold - I couldn't imagine going back to having to plan meals myself every week. The instruction cards are really easy to follow and have taught us a few techniques that we didn't know before. Like some other reviewers I have had one or two problems with less than fresh ingredients but this has only been a couple of times over the two year period. It's also true that it is more expensive than buying from a supermarket but what you're paying for is the convenience of having everything delivered to your door, in the right portions and getting a variety of recipes without having to do the research yourself. My husband and I work long hours and a meal planning box is the best way to ensure that we actually cook our own food. As one or the other of us is working late and eating at the office most nights a four recipe box weekly has almost entirely replaced our weekly shop (we still have to get the basics like milk and eggs but our main meals at home are sorted). If I didn't work, or worked fewer hours I may cut back and organise some things myself but for now these boxes are a life saver.”

“I have ordered 4 boxes - about 1 a month rather than a weekly delivery. They are real treats. So easy to make that I don’t have to prepare too much in advance. I have found the fresh ingredients have been fine. There is no wastage at all. The spices have improved my cooking. I usually get these when my son comes. He has been trying to lose weight and learn to cook. I am impressed that he has dropped 2 sizes and loves making these meals. They are particularly good for vegetarian visitors. Box arrives at a reasonable time and the cool pack sheeps wool is useful in the garden.”

“I've been a Gousto customer for over a year now. I recommend it to everyone and I love it. The recipes are delicious and getting all the ingredients delivered takes the hassle out of meal planning and shopping. At £2.98 per serve it's well worth it for the time and faff I save. I've also reduced my food waste and my boyfriend now does a lot more of the cooking so it's a big win in my book! The subscription element of the service doesn't suit me as I have a busy schedule and I'm often out during the week so I've paused my subscription (super easy to do you literally click one thing when you're signed in to your account). And I order "one-off" boxes as and when I want them. Usually about 2 per month.”

“I have now been using gousto for 6 months, and have to say it has been great, never had a problem with service or skipping orders, the quality of food is of good quality. I have shopped at all the major supermarkets and it does not match the quality of meat, it certainly isn't pumped with water.”

“Gousto is working really nice for me. It is a way of cooking tasty recipes easily. I even have tried the vegan ones. I already ordered more than 40 boxes and I only had a problem with a delivery once and they refunded it instantly. Fine for me.”
