“The product was cheaper than I get get in Coventry, was good quality, exactly as advertised and delivered on time. Getting the exact same product delivered less than 1 mile here in Coventry was £10 more expensive, at best. The only less than perfect aspect was the mode of delivery: in the back of a lorry with one man and a hand trolly that was not equipped to deliver a tonne weight. However, him, myself and a passing postman managed to get the job done! I would definitely recommend Grasslands Turf.”

“Having placed my order I waited to hear when I might receive the goods, usually you are given a time even an eta as with turf you want to get it down as soon as it arrives. I called to check as I'd not heard and was told 1.30pm I was to be first drop after lunch. Having waited all day I called again only to find that it was running late. Finally arrived after 4.30pm! When I received delivery it was falling off the pallet, the driver had to unload part onto another as it was unsafe. This also affected many of the rolls which were damaged. Not impressed.”

“The service was excellent when ordering. The young lady I spoke to was helpful and polite. I was able to arrange next day delivery. The top soil itself was of excellent quantity. Only two issues I would raise. Firstly, it would be nice to have had a call advising when the delivery was going to be. We waited in all day until the delivery at about 3pm. Also, because there is a forklift attached to the delivery van I was able to get the soil where I wanted it. Sadly, the driver did not advise me what a mess the fork lift would make of my lawn. It really tore the lawn up. I would have left it on the drive if I knew what a mess the machine would make of the lawn. However, overall the service was great.”

“Once I placed the order I received an email confirmation advising that I would receive a further email with tracking details for when the pebbles would arrive. I hadn't received the email 3 days later so was going to get in touch with Grasslands but before I did, the delivery arrived. My husband and I were at home but the delivery person did not knock on the door or ring the bell....instead they just put the half ton gravel bag on our lawn! We were very unimpressed as we were concerned it would leave a patch so we quickly purchased some weed fabric from a local store and had to shift the gravel and lay it down to avoid damaging our lawn. The delivery was prompt and the product was as expected but we should have been advised of the delivery and have had the opportunity to request where the gravel is left.”
