“The delivery was done very quickly, and an experienced driver putting my delivery just where I need it. The Top Soil is of good quality ..and if I had a bigger garden I would have some more. Perhaps Grasslands can deliver an extension to my garden with the same expertise.”

“I ordered a ton of the blue/purple 40mm slate stones on 16 September, for £87, by far the cheapest price I had managed to source anywhere. They were set to be delivered within 3-5 days. The 3-5 days came and went without a delivery, then after the 7th day, I received an email apologising for the delay as they had run out. They now had more in stock and would deliver the following day. The delivery man arrived as promised with my stones, which are fabulous. They shimmer when wet and look amazing in my garden. I would definitely use this company again as they provide excellent value for money.”

“Some of the following may be due to the recent lack of rain ??? Turf rolls varied in width and thickness. Some of the edges were damaged. appeared to have dead grass amongst the new live grass on some of the rolls. Some of the rolls were so thin in places that they fell apart. Some of the rolls seemed healthier than others.”

“I ordered Grade 1 Topsoil to prepare for grass seeding and Topsoil blend for flower beds. The delivery was as advised and your driver could not have been more helpful in manoevering the fork lift to get the bags where we wanted them and then helping by moving bags as we had to cut them to drop it in the right place. The quality of both products is excellent - the topsoil is very fine, no stones and is easily moved to gve the levels eurface I want. The blend is rich with mushroom compost and is sure to give new plants a great start. Thanks very much, I will certainly recommend you to my friends and I hope to be buying some plants from you in the Spring. My only issue is that I could have done with a couple of extra hands to move the soil around!!!”

“Very pleased with plum slate chipping delivery of 500kg bag. Dropped exactly where I wanted it. No mess clean delivery respectful to neighbours. I've now put it onto the border and it looks fantastic. Would have attached a photo to show you but was not able to. Well done Grasslands will use again as I progress my”

“Order wasn't delivered on day requested and paid for. Not enough notice for change of delivery date. Which has resulted in two tonnes of stones being left on pavement until my husbands next day off.”

“I was on holiday last week so payed an extra £5 to Graslands on top of the £10 delivery charge to choose the day of the 9th of September for delivery of my 2 bulk bags of gravel - whilst on holiday I received a phone call from the delivery driver on the 2nd of September (a week earlier than I had paid for) to say he'd dropped my bags off but had had to drive on to my lawn to get past my car and drop them next to my back gates as instructed. If the delivery had been on the day I paid for I would have been there and moved the car - if the driver had phoned me before dropping off instead of after I would have refused delivery and saved the damage.When I returned home not only were there deep ruts in my lawn - the concrete lawn edging was completely broken in two places - (this edging was to keep the gravel from moving over my lawn and drive after I laid it). So I paid extra money to have my day of choice ignored and to have my property damaged when my purchase was to improve it. I phoned and left a message complaining and have had no reply. I was planning to use Grasslands again to finish my drive but I would definitely not recommend - if I don't receive recompense for the damage I will be suing.”

“Ordered three bags of dove gravel on line then changed order via phone for marble gravel . Order was delivered correctly the staff bent over backwards to deliver within a few days , driver was excellent unloaded gravel onto driveway exactly where I wanted and the product was of exceptional quality exacactly as described. Having researched marble gravel both on line and locally I carnt find better or cheaper ! Totally recommend Grasslands for quality and professionalism . 110% from a happy customer who will be ordering again”

“The quality of the soil cannot be faulted. The delivery was made a day early despite my request on booking however thankfully our builders were on site to assist. The delivery driver was not provided with adequate MHE to move the 2 x 1.5 tonne bags and she was going to return to her depot to return the load. The load was also loaded poorly onto the delivery lorry preventing easy removal with the small palletiser available. Our builders assisted the driver with both off loading and locating the load on our drive however without them I do not think the delivery would have been completed. I was disappointed that the forklift promised during the placing of my order was not available. I am grateful that my builders were on hand to assist the delivery driver with her task and find it poor that she was on her own and not provided with the capability to unload her vehicle without help from others.”
