“I found them to be very efficient and very cooperative and delivered the gravel on the day I requested and the delivery driver was very helpful also and would certainly recommend them”

“I recently bought a number of items for my shed including paving slabs, and visited the site to check on their range. I found the staff to be very helpful and informative, and the site to be very accessible with good parking. I could easily have spent a lot more time (and money) at this garden centre before stopping off at their delightful coffee shop for refreshments. I would happily go there for anything I need. (Assuming they sell it).”

“I'm very much please with the quality of the soil bought for making the lawn. I went to buy a few additional bags from Homebase store to top up my shortage of soil. But the inferior quality of that additional soil bought from Homebase became obvious compare the soil bought from Graassland. You have Superior quality soil. i'll recommend to any looking for quality soil. Well done Jak”

“I was disappointed to have my delivery earlier than requested as it made the situation difficult. I would have been charged again if I had insisted on collection and re-delivery. An attempt was made to call me but by the the time I received the message (at work) it was too late and the delivery had been made. I was surprised that no further attempt was made to contact me at an hour when people tend to be more available I.e. Lunch. However although the lady I spoke to was not able to change the delivery without charges, she was polite throughout the conversation. The product itself was as described on the internet and I was pleased with the gravel and pleased with the finished effect on the bed. I would order this product again but would also call to ensure that I received the delivery I needed.”

“Great price and quick delivery. 40 mm slate was more stone like than I expected (rather than thin slate) but that may be my expectations that were wrong as I don't buy this stuff very often. Anyway it does the job and the price and delivery speed was excellent.”

“Delivery driver was incredibly rude. Even swearing in front of my 2 year old daughter. The turf is satisfactory, though and doing well, despite being laid in this cold weather, it has been down a week and is now beginning to root. One roll was a bit naff and fell apart when we unfurled it, but we used this where small pieces were unavoidable between full rolls to patch.”

“The top soil i ordered turned up a day later than requested (what was the point of asking for a day?). The courier was ill equipped for handling a 1.5m maxi bag as he only had a pallet trolley instead of a hiab crane. He could hardly move the load and it was left blocking the pavement. The top soil was good quality, shame about the delivery.”

“The quality and quantity of the soil was excellent. However, I was very concerned for the health and safety of the lone courier ( the company had been outsourced) as he did not have the correct lifting equipment to move 2 large bags and as result my husband had to help him. Someone could have been badly injured. I would suggest that outsourced delivery firms are assessed and monitored for the suitability to carry out the job appropriately.”

“Easy to use website, had to call to get some further information re delivery and enquiry was handled quickly and efficiently. Delivery was 1 day late however delivery driver called and and arranged to deliver that morning with no hassle. Quality looks good and pleased with result. Would recommend Grasslands to anyone looking at quality with a good price.”
