“Delivery to my home was very speedy from placing the order. My only concern was the placement of the 1 tonne bag I expected a vehicle with a hoist to arrive and drop the bag well away from the public pathway. Instead the bag turned up dangling from the forks of a forklift truck. All credit to the driver He did position it to my satisfaction but could not run over my paving. Never the less great job”

“I did not order turf I ordered 20mm Golden Gravel. The product is as described and the delivery charge was very reasonable. It is worth noting that Grasslands sell gravel in 1000kg bags, whilst others sell 850kg bags for a similar price. The delivery driver was extremely helpful, taking his time to place the gravel to my instructions and to make it easier for spreading.”

“2 tons of gravel arrived on time and despite the pouring rain, the delivery guy (with his (futuristic) forklift couldn't have been more helpful, placing the bags exactly where we needed them. Great prices, fast and punctual delivery and outstanding personal service - what more do you want? 5 well deserved Stars and sincere thanks.”

“Delivered on the day arranged and the driver placed the soil & turf just where i wanted it. The turf was of a very good quality and the soil topped up all the flower beds perfectly. Would certainly buy from Grasslands again in the future”

“I ordered two bags of 40mm purple slate chippings. The product range was more extensive than at DIY chains The price was cheaper and came in 500kg bags versus 850 kg Delivery was cheaper and due to the use of a fork lift truck they were able to load onto a concrete platform at the end of the drive whereas most others stated kerbside drop only which would have entailed me to move it immediately, The driver was most helpful and friendly. Good product - cheaper - good delivery Thank you”

“Both me and my partner love Grasslands. The soil we ordered was perfect, the turf was very good, advice and ordering excellent but your delivery lets you down guys. We have asked twice for the driver to call us before or while delivering. Not once we had a call.”

“The soil we ordered was exactly what we needed to top up our existing soil. Lump and stone free with a sandy consistency to help drainage with our clay soil. Delivery was on time and hassle free. Would recommend without doubt.”

“I found grasslands in a search as the cheapest provider for stone chippings. They were not too far away and at £10 for a single delivery charge I thought that to be very reasonable. I found the purchase process to be straightforward and smooth as expected. The delivery turned up when expected though I wasnt there to receive it the driver left the 2No 1tonne bags in a considerate place with other building materials. The bags appeared to be well filled with material and contamination from other stone was virtually non existent. My only regret was ordering 2 tonnes not 3 as I needed more. I would definately use again.”

“I found dealing with Grasslands easy and pleasant and I was accommodated at short notice ordering my Turf on Friday and it being delivered on Saturday 09.00 The turf is also of the highest quality David Courtman”

“Ordered some blue slate chippings on a weds, chose the Friday as delivery day. Nothing turned up and we had no contact to say what the problem was, when I called it kept going to answer machine. Finally on the Monday I got an email saying they were too busy to deliver and they would deliver the following Friday. We specifically needed the delivery as we had a project that needed finishing and the customer service was non existent. The product was good but that was the only positive. Wouldn't recommend.”
