“I have ordered decorative stone from many companies but will now only use Grasslands Turf. The delivery driver could not do more to help us and placed the stones as close to our garden as he could - Thank you Grasslands!”

“I asked you to deliver the goods through my gate but you dump an 850g bag of gravel on THE ROAD!!! How exactly you expected me to move this to prevent a fine from the council is beyond me....I was extremely disappointed as I have specifically communicated with someone at your company about the delivery as I requested it on Saturday and you ignored this and delivered on a Thursday which was extremely unhelpful.”

Hi, Sorry for the problems, The delivery driver will do his best to put the gravel i the place required but this is not always possible.

“1. The driver, (who was a lovely, helpful guy) turned up on his own. He was unable to move the 1 tonne bags with the equipment provided. I had to help him constantly for about two hours (had i been employed by the company i would have breached several serious health and safety guidelines). 2. Even with two of us (Francis and I, (please don't scapegoat him he was really helpful)), there were several times when the tonne bags almost fell into the middle of the road, blocking an entrance to a nursery school. It was only through Francis' expertise, risking serious injury, this did not happen. 3. One pallet did break and a tonne bag ended up in the middle of the road, i had planned to report it to the police as it effectively blocked the school entrance. In the end, Francis and i had to shovel furiously for 30 minutes to clear the road. Some product was lost in the process. I have taken photos to support this, i eagerly await your response. “Gravel fine. Pallets it arrived on were so poor they collapsed before delivery was complete. So there it sat - half on the road , half on the pavement. So I had to go out and shovel a ton of gravel on my own - not easy . 59 years old woman with bad back !! Please improve the quality of pallets used,”

Hi Ruth, Sorry that the pallets broke, I believe that this may have been caused by mishandling during transport. I will make sure the quality of pallets used is up to standard.

“Delivered a day earlier than requested but no signature required and left in a very sensible place so not an issue. Follow up call after order to explain and price very close to best available. I'm pleased with the purchase and will most probably place a follow on order.”

“I'm a landscaper in Brighton and unfortunately this company was excruciatingly rubbish at customer service, Ignoring delivery dates requested by their website on ordering and then dealing with stroppy employees on the phone. Not worth the hassle to deal with again.”

“1st class service. Extremely satisfied with the quality of all items, bark chippings and soil. Received a super fast delivery, within 15 hours of ordering. Extremely helpful driver who positioned the mega bags through raised fencing, he then assisted with positioning the large bag of chippings. Would have no hesitation in using again if more required. I highly recommend and thank Grasslands for this standard of service.”
