Very unhelpful! I had a flat tyre in Sainsbury’s car park and called Green Flag for help,( I am a woman in her late 60s with a frozen shoulder problem so I couldn’t change it myself). It was a freezing cold day and I waited 3 hours for assistance. Out of desperation I called my husband who had to leave work and come and help me. No follow up call from GF to see what had happened to me, very upsetting!

So my daughter is named on the policy and she borrowed my wife’s car who is named on the policy . Green Flag refused to offer assistance and I had a complaint upheld but I was advised that I could cancel my policy back dated to the date of incident. Do not trust Green Flag . They refused help to a vulnerable woman and lied as they will not back date fees so they lie, treat customers unfairly and fail to provide assistance . Use at you own risk.

I have today called out green flag as my battery was flat This is a first time call out with them The service was excellent they kept me updated and arrived as stated. Jack attended very polite and helpful. He arrived in a yellow Manchatts van thank you Jack excellent service

Contacted Green Flag at 2.23 pm regarding my vehicle would not start. I was given a time of between 4.30 to 6.60 pm. !! After 6.30 pm I contacted the garage company assigned to me to ask where they were and was told it would be another half an hour at which point I cancelled as i was not going to be in,and reappointed for the Sunday morning between the hour of 9am to 11am. No update from the garage at this time (8.45) Terrible service so far. And no contact from Green Flag either.Appalling service.

Joined Green Flag a month ago after a big issue with the the AA after 33 years membership ! I had a flat battery and called Green Flag. The call was answered within 20 seconds and was told a mechanic would be with me within 90 minute but arrive 30 minutes later sorted the problem and was friendly. 1/3 the price of the AA and the service was just as good !

I was 15 miles from home going on a 100 mile journey. My car started to lose power & a whining noise started. Phoned Green Flag, they told me I would have about 1 & a half hour wait. Recovery truck arrived an hour later. Driver very courteous, looked at my engine & thought it might be the water pump. Took me & my daughter & granddaughter back home where we were able to start our journey again in her car. Driver also told me that they would take my car to my chosen garage after the Christmas holidays when garage is open again. Brilliant service.

To change a tire with a rusty bolt took over 5 hrs and, once they had wiggled out of responsibility at 6pm on a Sunday cost my a fortune to get fixed

Nursed my car from Warwick to Cheddar with a failing hydraulic clutch control, got to within 0.15 miles of home at a busy main road junction to be told I was too close. I was on a quiet side road and offered to try and push it back up to the 0.25 mile limit but no joy. I am going elsewhere.

Renewal price £119.80 New Customer price £78.00 Same product. When questioned , customer service response - “ you should be smart enough to cancel and take out a new policy “ Say no more!

Waiting 3 hours today for Ri ford to come to jump start my car. It will take them 2 minutes to do that. Tried to ring Richford motors and they cut me off. I strongly do not recommend their services after they sent a text saying they would be here 2 hours ago. Still no sign

Waited 5 hours for a recovery due to tire puncture we kept ringing the but was fobbed of with different messages absolutely disgusting service avoid at all cost we are over 70 years old and left on side of road arrived too late to get to garage in minus 1 conditions

Green Flag are normally reliable and good. I was left however 2 and a half hours waiting for a home start but in their defence they did keep me updated and rang me to apologise and tell me what the delay was , RAC in my experience dreadful they left me 5 hrs and then didn’t turn up . Don’t like the threatening over the 28 days being called again though don’t think that helps the company at all my advice. Their app I think it was on one occasion normally they are with you within the hour.

Although I have Green Flag on insurance I have never had caused to use them until last Saturday. Once I phoned re the problem they were very efficient keeping me updated and when they arrived the person was very helpful. All in all I found them very good.

I've given 1 star because that is the lowest I can give.I renewed my policy for another year up to 2024 the letter kept coming back with the wrong date 2023.After many phone calls it was still coming back with the wrong date,another has just arrived...wrong date again.I will never use Greenland again ,i'm going back to RAC

Had to call our front had a big hole in it and my partner has Parkinson they called out lv transpiration to take us to a tyre co,but unfortunately the two recommendations did not stick but mick from lv transportion went out of his way to find us a co that had one dropped us us when he checked that we were going to be ok thank mick without you my partner would have got stressed thank you can high recommend him and his company

Contacted green flag on a Sunday morning using the app which was really easy, they arrived in under an hour, fixed the problem on the spot, charging only for the part used. Friendly service, quick and efficient. Couldn’t fault it.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, I paid for EU breakdown cover, I broke down in Bulgaria, my family was taken to a hotel waited hours in the lobby but green flag wouldn't release the funding for our hotel rooms. We were mis advised and told they'd pay for our car to be fixed, later told they don't cover the cost of repair to the vehicle. BE ADVICED STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY FOR BREAKDOWN, THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!
