Have been mis-sold what I've now been told is an excess policy, whereby I have to pay £40 every time I need them to come and mend my broken down car. Never told me this when it was being renewed. Complete scam.

I wouldn't use them again they don't send out a technician expect you to diagnos your problem yourself &,send out a breakdown recovery & you have to pay for it never been so dissatisfied with a car rescue company

I just want thank Green Flag for their very prompt service today , I had a call back within minutes to see if I could sort the issue out by one of the technicians taking me through how to fix the problem, couldn’t be resolved so advised would send someone out , text message came through straight away advising will be by 16.05 came at 14.43 . Problem resolved in minutes. Craig the mechanic was very friendly and helpful, it was such a small problem but that did seem to matter 😀 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you

Green Flag USED to be an excellemt company. Aproximately 10 years ago after I forgot to renew and then called them for help; they agreed to help if I renewed over the phone which I did and they came. I was delighted. Until this morning I gave them 30 yrs of business. Early today I had a puncture and after calling they said the policy doesn't exist. After checking my renewal docs from August 2023 it was agreed that they had attempted to collect the renewal fee automatically but couldn't due to card details changing. They said they wrote to me but had I received their letter I would have instantly dealt with it. This is the painful bit.....I offered to settle here and now and then they could come, but this was denied me - even if I renewed on the telephone they'd charge £150 for coming. If anyone in management is reading this I'd be happy to talk, I feel I've been dumped for no good reason and they would have continued receiving my business indefinitely had they behaved considerately. Very poor service car was recovered by third party company who Green flag employ and was damaged taking to the dealership. Green flag then create issues with their procedure on accountability no hire car and me left transport while they look into things …joke utter joke

My partners policy was due for renewal so she rang up to renew it and was met with a barrage of weird questions nothing to do with break down cover , her phone was on loudspeaker so I heard what the operator was saying ,I told her to put the phone down Strange people

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was Left for 6 hours at the side of the road with a disabled member of staff. Repeatedly given false information. Lost £14000 worth of work and had to cover £250 per day of staff wages for the four days that had to be cancelled because I wasn’t recovered. First person arrived after4 hours with no tools, took photos of the car and then left. Made no attempt to identify the problem. They contacted me 2 days later and offered me £50 compensation. That made me even angrier.

I have used green flag today as I has a burst tire. They were with me in less than 1hr. The 2 recovery truck drivers were excellent. They put my car on the back of the truck and took my car myself and my disabled friend to the nearest garage to have the tyre replaced. The delivery driver rang the garage to check they had the size tyre in stock. I carnt thank them enough very professional service. I highly recommend Green flag

I have green flag through my bank account ,clutch failed 19 miles from home green flag said there would be a charge for mileage over 10 , and was there £120 ! Recovery firm said green flag hand you over to them and they can charge what they want .

We have green flag for 2 vehicles, my husband has a van which broke down today in minus 4 temperature. After a lengthy process and a fee of £150 ,They then said they cannot pick up vehicles over 15 years old ! Absolutely fuming as they haven't told us this before. Just keep taking the money every month ! Will now be cancelling

Customer service with this company is abysmal. Its been a catalogue of errors and incompetence over the last few week after trying to change my contact details, something that you think would have been simple but not with green flag. I eventually put a complaint in. Received email saying someone would contact me..... nobody did. Chased the complaint up twice to which I was told that the person dealing with it would contact me..... Guess what.... NOBODY HAS. What a complete waste of time of a company. Will not be using them again. I will pay good money to a company that actually knows what they are doing but unfortunately these do not.

Very unhelpful! I had a flat tyre in Sainsbury’s car park and called Green Flag for help,( I am a woman in her late 60s with a frozen shoulder problem so I couldn’t change it myself). It was a freezing cold day and I waited 3 hours for assistance. Out of desperation I called my husband who had to leave work and come and help me. No follow up call from GF to see what had happened to me, very upsetting!

So my daughter is named on the policy and she borrowed my wife’s car who is named on the policy . Green Flag refused to offer assistance and I had a complaint upheld but I was advised that I could cancel my policy back dated to the date of incident. Do not trust Green Flag . They refused help to a vulnerable woman and lied as they will not back date fees so they lie, treat customers unfairly and fail to provide assistance . Use at you own risk.

I have today called out green flag as my battery was flat This is a first time call out with them The service was excellent they kept me updated and arrived as stated. Jack attended very polite and helpful. He arrived in a yellow Manchatts van thank you Jack excellent service

Contacted Green Flag at 2.23 pm regarding my vehicle would not start. I was given a time of between 4.30 to 6.60 pm. !! After 6.30 pm I contacted the garage company assigned to me to ask where they were and was told it would be another half an hour at which point I cancelled as i was not going to be in,and reappointed for the Sunday morning between the hour of 9am to 11am. No update from the garage at this time (8.45) Terrible service so far. And no contact from Green Flag either.Appalling service.

Joined Green Flag a month ago after a big issue with the the AA after 33 years membership ! I had a flat battery and called Green Flag. The call was answered within 20 seconds and was told a mechanic would be with me within 90 minute but arrive 30 minutes later sorted the problem and was friendly. 1/3 the price of the AA and the service was just as good !

I was 15 miles from home going on a 100 mile journey. My car started to lose power & a whining noise started. Phoned Green Flag, they told me I would have about 1 & a half hour wait. Recovery truck arrived an hour later. Driver very courteous, looked at my engine & thought it might be the water pump. Took me & my daughter & granddaughter back home where we were able to start our journey again in her car. Driver also told me that they would take my car to my chosen garage after the Christmas holidays when garage is open again. Brilliant service.

To change a tire with a rusty bolt took over 5 hrs and, once they had wiggled out of responsibility at 6pm on a Sunday cost my a fortune to get fixed
