Bought a second hand bike recently, person I purchased bike from recommended i get bike serviced .Took bike to halfords at snipe retail park at Ashton under lane the advices and service was totally useless the staff didn't know what they were talking about when I got bike I thought after spending over £100 on services and couple off other bits at least they could have cleaned bike .I won't be going back.

Poor service from Sheffield Kilner way purchased a britax isofix car seat online to be delivered to store, asked for it to be installed and checked and it felt like I was asking too much, might I add the time I went they wasn't busy and it's a good job I checked on fit finder to make sure it does as a lot of parents wouldn't not once did they double check to see if it did and I told the gentleman I wasn't paying for it until I know it does fit he rudely told me I had to install it to make sure I knew how to fair enough, he also told me i had to move my car which was parked bang outside the store to the disabled bay 2 spaces across and the young man he asked to install it and go through everything with me he was excellent apart from that poor to say you are a company that is specifically catered for bikes cars etc you should really be making sure you know what entails in selling a car seat and make sure everything is correct and right process is followed to say I use to work for a rival company in selling car seats it's a good job I know what to do as I said a lot of people Don't!

Well at least Dick Turpin worn a mask and told you why he was robbing you. My wife just got a bill of £123.11 for and MOT and fixes to the car......a Mini Cooper 1.6 auto. MOT £35 Fair enough Fuel System Cleaner £20 Fair enough However got absolutely robbed for the following so be aware BE VERY AWARE!!!!!!!! Stand and Deliver! Front nearside indicator bulb £21.58 fitted Front Offside indicator bulb £21.58 fitted These bulbs are £5 for a pack of two in the shop nextdoor Fuel cap seal £24.95 fitted Needless to say we will not be returning there again having been long standing loyal customers. Things at the Westwood Cross Autocentre have changed and not for the best. I would advise to avoid them. I rang head office and was told this the price charged in the system. Well you won't be charging us those extortionate prices any more......Goodday, Goodbye and good riddance. An angry, upset and robbed customer.

I went to Chilwell Halfords to pick up a click and collect order. No one at the checkout for ages, when a man did arrive he didn’t acknowledge me but answered the phone instead, wandered round the store to fetch something, went back to the phone conversation, and still not a word to me! Came off the phone, and finally acknowledged me standing in front of him, but not with a ‘sorry about your wait, how can I help you’ but with ‘are you alright there?’! Said in an inquisitive way as if it was odd I was stood there!! Rarely go to Halfords and won’t be going back.

Went to collect item and they had no knowledge of it in the store. Very annoying as it was at the weekend and had to wait a week before I could carry out the repair. Hence why I went to GFS instead for my next car part!

Bolts on bicycle not tight enough, caused handlebars to come loose going down steps. Is only ever 2 or 3 members of staff working so you're standing around waiting for ages. I once waited about 20 minutes in store before any staff were a able to help. Their bikes suck to be honest, old low end budget parts from 2000 era with pogostick suntour forks. Also you cannot post negative reviews on their site they won't publish them.

So booked car in for mot, failed on something to do with breaks, but they cant tell me what for 3 days as thats the earliest they can check due to being short on staff. Fair enough, But they are still taking bookings for mot's today and the next few days! Rather than doing more mot's how about you spend that time looking at my car? Tried to say this to customer support who were no help, just obnoxious and then hung up on me! At no point was I rude, I just wanted him to see my point. To hang up on me is a disgrace. my loyalty towards Halfords is over.

The full service was ok but surprised. They asked three times to do the extra bits (Fuel stuff) and they were very pushy for me to repair the extras at Halfords. I got home, saw some dirt inside the car and oil spilled at the front of the car too. The manager apologised and didn't really care about the feedback concerning the pushy sales and the uncleanliness.

Although i understand marketing, and pricing, i was hoping that if i upgraded my headlight bulbs ( 6 x H7 )..ill benefit from the advertised " WEEKEND 33 " discount.But im disappointed with the bulbs not being within the promotional discount on the website!! Hence i only purchased one set for the low beam on my Mercedes...@ £18 for 2 with free side bulbs!!!! P.S...A car only has 2 side lights!!..;-) Great service from your staff though.

""i walked into you branch in Bexhill today sept 6 2017 I wanted to buy a tom tom on entering the store I was looking with other customers at the tom toms I looked around for a sales person the only person I could find was on a till she said she would get someone .Iwaited talking to other customers and after about 10 minutes still no one but what annoyed me there was a lad in Halfords uniform chatting to the girl totally ignoring me .Idecided to leave and bought my tom tom from tescos who were great from start to finish I wont be going back to Halfords again

""i had mot at halfords llanelli before i took the car for mot i asked if the car failed mot was there a fee for re test i was told no but when the car failed i was quoterd 200pounds for work on car i thought wow thats well over the top for discs and pads i took it down to a mot center i mile down road had the work done for 110pounds phoned halfords for re test then informed there would be a charge of17 50 for re test so if u have them do the work on ur car there will no charge but u will pay theyer exessive highe pricess

Went in with the intention of purchasing a bike due to staff lack of knowledge and attitude left feeling very unhappy and went to independent cycle shop

Disappointed at the level of parts available to purchase from service desk. Went in looking for brake calipers for my car, not only was I told they don't carry them, never carried them, and couldn't order them but I was also told it's company policy to not provide any other location to purchase them from. I'm not sure what happened to customer service, but Halfords will be my last choice for finding anything from this moment forward.

Brought a touch up paint for our car orders it Tuesday it came today good but found out it came from Euro parts price from them to you £5 25 you charged us £11 pounds 100 percent Mark up disgusting l L McHale Mrs

All of my rear lights including breaks went so I went to Halfords to get them replaced and fitted since I didn't know how much to do this myself. Staff seemed relatelivey cheerful and ready to help but the girl who fitted the bulbs didn't really look like she knew what she was doing, and didn't even put the light container back on correctly so I had to unscrew it off when i got home and put it in place properly which was quite easy actually. In future I'll make sure I get some one who actually knows what they're doing.

Took my sons Bmx bike in for repairs. Good Customer Service and Man knew what he was doing but they don't explain the costs well and I discovered later that of my £61.99 Bill, £38 of this was fitting. If Id realised this before he'd started we would have bought the products and taken them home to fit ourselves. The customer should be informed of fitting costs beforehand. just wish I had asked for a rundown before he started.

Ordered new number plates plus fitting, said collect 1 hour. Went to collect 3 hours later to be told that I have to wait for them to be made, then tell me the fitting charge does no cover the cost of the the four screws needed this would be an extra charge. So the fitting charge of almost £10.00p is the cost to drill two holes. Told them cancel the fitting will do it myself. Wished I had ordered elsewhere where fitting is included in the price. No hidden charges, disappointed.I ordered these online click and collect was given 10% discount, not given at paypoint though.

Time management of is awful, and apparently is not branch dependent. If i book some job to certain time, and its states it will be done in certain time, why it takes x2, x3, to do it?

After visiting the Kingstanding road centre, Birmingham; I took my beloved Cboardman to get some new tyres fitted as I never had the tools, Upon doing so I was speaking to a member of staff about his day. He went on to say about his pay rate, Hours and how much he hates working there. Also mentioning they don't need any training or qualifications to work there, Just common sense, Also that he only did odd jobs as his bored but isn't actually contraced to work on a bike. Nice to know they don't have a 100% clue what to do.. Got home to have to tighten up my bolts too as they were loose, Luckily never had an accident!
