Kapiti Coast. We were very happy with the blinds and installation. However the service and communication was very poor. We paid a $1200 deposit a day after we accepted the quote. 10 days after the quote was paid we had a phone call from Janine, from admin asking if we were going ahead with the blinds. Here we were thinking our blinds were being made, but no. The communication between admin and the Kapiti Owner is obviously not good. The whole experience was disappointing, no communication what so ever throughout, except when I emailed to ask what was happening at different times. I would suggest to use the well known local firm, who I have used in the past, if you want someone that communicates and appreciates your business.

Not very enthusiastic or friendly or overly helpful but stuck to her job and did it efficiently enough. Mistake was made on installation when blind was incorrectly cut. Overall efficient service though.

I dont want to write the full review again, because I did few months ago. In summary, I havent received the service or product as advertised or being promised. - Installation was incomplete. Rather than doing full installation, only 2 screws been put. Ref image. - Roman blind quality is very poor, Not even a month, but stiches teared and the stick, is coming out. Ref Image. - Customer service is ok at the beging before you sign the contract. After that there might be slight delay in response, as you already paid the 50%. (thats my experience) Please note that I have already reviewed 2 months ago, and all the transactions completed. I have been asked to give feedback again today, I think Harrisons is trying to overwrite my old review or something(not sure). Thanks

While the initial service/communication was satisfactory, everything changed once the order had been placed and payment was made. There was no attempt to check on my satisfaction with the finished job and no attempt to remedy what wasn't correct. Left a lasting negative impression of Harrisons with me.

I asked for roman blinds to be made with as long a drop as possible to block light and this request was not followed.

Initial consultation was great, but then almost no communication without having to follow up regularly myself. Blind in kitchen doesn't work for the large window span, as it is quite heavy and sags badly. One would expect that a curtain and blind supplier would know that it would be an issue.

We didn't have a good experience with jane and her partner. The customer is always right definately wasnt the case here. Before we were signed up and paid it was great then they didn't seem to care. Follow uo communication wasnt good. Had a few issues amd that didnt go down well with them. We would NEVER deal with the hamilton branch again or reccommend them.

Mediocre. Blinds were measured incorrectly so they had to be remade. Took about 3 months before all were complete and installed. Blockout blind is fading already in the sun and it has only been up for 4 months. Installer put a hole in the wall and scratched up our window frames (awesome when we have a new build home). Second time using Harrisons and second time being severely disappointed. We have since gone with another company that was cheaper, faster and had much better workmanship.

I required 2 sets of curtains for the same room. 1 set I was asked how high and low I wanted them to hang, the 2nd set I was not consulted, and it was measured slightly too short, so adjustments were made to the hooks in curtains, and now I can see the curtain rail above curtains. It just does not look right

After sales service is very poor, we had to wait weeks for installer to come back and hang final curtain , this was due to us not having enough hooks and installer not offering to sell us any.

Customer service from the local operators was amazing, the way the romans were packed for delivery by Harrison's wasn't. They arrived poorly wrapped, creased and wrinkled and damaged. Harrison's took no responsibility and the wonderful people here have gone above and beyond to put things right at their own expense. Shame on you Harrisons.
